"We had a very pleasant stay at Hotel Leon d’Oro in Verona. The hotel is conveniently located close to the train station, making it easy to get around. It is quite a walk to the city centre (around 15–20 minutes), but still manageable if you enjoy walking.
Rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable, providing a relaxing stay. The breakfast was a highlight, with a lot of choices available and something to suit everyone.
The staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay, and the lobby and common areas feel elegant and welcoming. One small downside was that air conditioning was not available during our stay, as it was not yet summer in Italy—I wish it had been an option for added comfort.
Overall, it offers very good value for money and a comfortable experience. I would happily stay here again when visiting Verona."

Lage: der Fußweg war bis zur Stadt ca. 15/20 Minuten (entspanntes Gehen). Wir fanden es perfekt, da wir das extreme Treiben mit sehr vielen Touristen auf Dauer nicht mögen.
Sauberkeit: Ohne Worte, perfekt.
Service: Soviel lächeln und Lockerheit hat zum Wohlfühlen beigetragen. Jede Bitte wurde sofort erfüllt.
Ausstattung:
Aufgrund der Hitze können wir nur den Pool und Poolbereich beurteilen.
Es ist ein gemütlicher Garten mit fülligem Buschbestand und Bäumen. Drei/vier weitere Sonnenschirme wären schön. Besonders am Pool.
Der Pool ist sehr sauber und für 10 gute Züge zum Schwimmen reicht es aus. Er war nie voll, obwohl der Garten besetzt war. Die Atmosphäre war dort sehr entspannt.

La nota dolente resta che la mia camera era adiacente al vano ascensore e dalle 6.30 in poi il via vai mi ha reso impossibile il sonno perché l’ascensore era veramente molto rumorosa."

Super perfect service, highly professional and quality staff, good English, efficient, and take care of my every details.
Quality physical condition of the hotel, the hotel is a re-renovated building from a flour mill, so that it is very spacious, my room is big enough also in European hotel.
Great location, 15-minute from St Mark’s Sq, chilled island and not distanced but you’ve to take water taxi to get to the hotel
Qualify breakfast, an unforgettable enjoyment for my stay
Reliable Water shuttle bus - one of the very important services provided by the hotel to go to / from St Mark’s Sq, Euro15 for the whole stay, 30-minute frequency every day. And the hotel also offer complimentary water taxi to Murano Island everyday, so that I can visit both Murano and Burano at the same day.

Daping302This hotel offers good value for money for guests visiting Verona. It's conveniently located, about an 8-minute walk straight after turning right from the train station exit, then another 7 minutes straight after turning right again (totaling around 15 minutes). You can reach the old town arena in about 25 minutes on foot, so most interesting places are within walking distance. The staff are friendly; I found the room a bit cool at night, and housekeeping promptly brought an extra blanket when I called. Breakfast is Italian style, with a good variety and tasty options. The hotel's decor retains its 1970s charm and is well-maintained. While some room facilities are a bit dated, particularly the electrical switches, you can see what was considered state-of-the-art in the '70s. My only regret is that the shower is over a narrow and steep bathtub. I was concerned about slipping, especially for older guests, and there were no grab bars on the wall, so I largely avoided using it.

Shanzhongheshi_This hotel is great! I saw a lot of Chinese guests staying here. The room was clean and tidy, and the restaurant staff were very friendly during the two breakfasts I had. The hotel is located right by the highway, with a bus stop outside that goes directly to Venice's main island and the airport/train station. It's perfect for travelers who need to catch a flight the next day or are just arriving in Venice and want to rest for a night. The only downside is that the cleaning staff were very loud in the mornings while cleaning the rooms and in the hallway. I was woken up at the same time both days, which was a bit annoying.

We love the hotel room, it’s so spacious, clean and beautiful 😍 However, the location is not the best, it’s 18 minutes walk from the train station and still have to take another train ( 2 stops) to Venice. Initially we thought the hotel will provide free shuttle service, but we were only told that our package is not included with the shuttle service and need to pay 20 euro per person for one way in order to use the shuttle service.
This is a very small villa and I think they are short of staff to work? There’s only one receptionist when we first arrived, and when he directed us to the wrong room, he tapped the door and someone was inside??? He later then told us it’s a wrong room. When we came back at night, there are no receptionist at the counter ( we waited for 5-10 mins and rang the counter bell).
We were so surprised that the cleaner that cleaned our room did not top up water for us, and didn’t even replace new glasses/ wash our glasses? The used glasses were remained on the same spots.
Overall I think we mainly enjoyed the room, but mainly not there for service or if you need to travel out to Venice.

This new hotel is awesome! The heated indoor pool n jacuzzi are properly heated n the best of all the hotels we stayed at in Dolomites. It was raining the day we were there n we spent all day in the wellness area with the many facilties including a superb relaxation room. Service is excellent. Their bath robes are the plushiest! They provide complimentary shuttle bus to Cortina D'ampesso town which is very useful.

Guest UserLovely hotel, friendly staff and overall clean well kept environment. Very close to an Aldi and a lovely little coffee shop if you walk further up the winding round, in the residential area. Hotel offers shuttle service to and from Venice at a visit of €10 per way and for the airport too at a cost of €8 per way. I think there is a train station nearby, which I did not use. Venice is about a 25 minute drive away from the hotel and for the dates that I was there, a €10 fee per day was applied to visit the city.
The breakfast options were varied and tasted good, unsure about vegetarian options for sausages etc.
The room I had booked faced the front of the hotel and had a fan/thermostat system however the windows did not open. The shower flooded the bathroom floor somewhat as there wasn't a stopper, the first night I was there. So I was extra cautious the next time I showered.
All in all, I would recommend staying at this hotel. It was a positive experience for me.

I stayed one night at Hotel Villa Argentina during my trip through the Dolomites, and it was a very pleasant experience overall.
Pros:
• The breakfast was excellent, especially the bacon and omelet — a nice touch before heading out for the day.
• The hotel staff were friendly and helpful, making check-in and requests very smooth.
• The view from the hotel is absolutely beautiful, especially if you’re lucky to get a mountain-facing room — peaceful and scenic.
Cons:
• The hotel is a bit far from the town center, so it’s more suited if you have a car or want a quiet stay in nature.
• The building is old, though the rooms and bathrooms have been nicely renovated, so it’s comfortable once you’re inside.
Overall, I’d recommend this hotel for travelers who want a quiet, scenic stop in the Dolomites with good food and service.

Before my stay, I saw mixed reviews online, but after experiencing it myself, I found it to be pretty good. The front desk staff were very friendly and patient.
**Transportation:** There's a bus stop very close to the right of the hotel entrance. Using Google Maps, it's quite convenient to get to the train station or Venice's main island. Just make sure you're heading in the right direction before boarding. It takes about 30 minutes to get to the main island, but you need to factor in waiting time for the bus. I bought several tickets at an automatic machine at the train station, each costing 1.5 Euros. Remember to validate your ticket when you get on the bus.
**Surroundings:** If you walk ten minutes to the right of the hotel entrance, there's a huge shopping mall where you can find food, entertainment, clothes, and souvenirs.
**Airport:** Taking the bus isn't very convenient; from the last stop, you'd have to walk nearly 2km. So, I decided to ask the hotel to call a taxi for me. It took 20 minutes to get to Marco Polo Airport and cost 40 Euros.

The hotel is directly on the RIALTO Bridge and St. Mark's Square, with easy access to major attractions. The hotel has a water gate, and the WATER TAXI and Gondola are easily accessible. The breakfast was very good and the restaurant in the hotel was very good. The decor of the hotel rooms and public areas are very beautiful. There is a small gym.
