Absolutely loved our stay at the Maurushaus. This is the second time i have stay at this place and fully recommend the place. You are greeted with a warm welcome and a run through of the sights to see around fussen. The info received saved us a lot of money on transport and fuel costs, so please listen. When you arrive you get a free welcome drink, which consist of a wide range of beers, spirits or softs drinks. The breakfast was amazing and costs around 7,50 per adult and a special deal on children. As an added bonus, you get given a food bag which you can fill from the breakfast buffet, this saves you a fortune for lunch! The only minor downside is that the house is old and the floor boards can creek when people move around, but this is a minor negative and we quickly got used to the noises within the building.

The Pension Seibel is a decent hotel in an old building. The front desk/reception area/ breakfast room is all sort of crammed together on the second floor (1st floor by European standards?). That space was hot, stuffy and crowded but we spent very little time there so it wasn’t a huge problem. The staff was helpful and friendly but the entire place needs some renovation. Everything was clean and the locks on all the doors are old mechanical devices but they all work properly. The room itself was a bit tired. The ceilings have clearly been added to reduce what was likely a lot of extra space to heat/cool. The room lacked both a fan and/or A/C. The large windows did fully open but overlooked an alley with trash cans, workers and lots of pigeons. The curtains were unacceptable and appeared to be completely missing at least one complete section. The bathroom was tiny and barely functional. The toilet worked, but just barely. The shower faucet was twitchy and if you bumped it even slightly you were rewarded with very cold or very hot water. The shower had an old plastic curtain that didn’t do much to contain the water in the shower. Overall, the bathroom was workable but less than ideal. The electrical outlets in the room were a bit suspect looking but they worked. The TV carried some local news but had a lot of nonfunctional channels. I don’t need a TV in room but it’s nice to get local weather without having to rely on your phone. On the positive side, the tram stop was close by. There were 2 excellent restaurants/beer gardens nearby. The room had a comfortable bed and everything was clean. Perhaps the price for this room should be a little lower considering the overall condition but it wasn’t bad. Had the room been priced about 25% lower I would have no complaints. It was a bit overpriced for what it was.

The location is excellent and the parking was nice to have. Everything you want to see in Rothenberg is within a few minutes. The town is why you come. I have been here dozens of times over a 30 year period and it never gets old. I reserved online last minute and while there was only one of me, the room was massive able to sleep 4 easily. I did not have breakfast but I am sure it would be good albeit simple traditional German (brot, cheese, jams, coffee, juice, meat, cucumber, tomato and yogurt...) To really communicate with the owner it is best to speak German. All in all, good stay and would stay again.

The location is excellent and the parking was nice to have. Everything you want to see in Rothenberg is within a few minutes. The town is why you come. 경치좋고 한적한 시골, 트렁크 끄는 소리가 시끄러워 조심히 들어서 몇번 끌어보았던곳. 체크인장소는 식당과 같은공간이었고 동양인은 드물었던것 같아 첨엔 긴장했지만 주인분은 매우 친절히 우리를 맞아주어서 긴장을 한층 내려놓을수 있었고 편안한 휴식을 맛볼수 있었다. 방은 예상대로 좀 좁았고 열쇠로 문을 여는 시스템은 신기했지만 싫지만은 않고 분위기와 잘 어울렸다. 창문건너편 강아지들은 너무 귀여웠고 아침에 맛본 조식은 훌륭했다. 반숙 달걀과 크로아상은 나의 원픽이었고 쥬스, 커피,요구르트,식빵 등 맛도 양도 충분해서 매우 만족스러웠다.

Clean, safe and friendly inn that is very close to the medieval city, but a little less expensive than many of the hotels located inside the Rothenburg town walls. Also provides free and easy to access parking for guests onsite. The innkeepers are incredibly friendly hosts, full of positive energy. The inn itself is nicely decorated, but it's rather basic -- if you're looking for a special romantic inn, this may not be it. But if you want a nice, clean convenient place to stay, easy to reach the town by car or foot, this is a great choice.

Although we only stayed one night, from the moment of arrival to leaving everyone was friendly and welcoming. We booked a Castle view room, and what a view !!! The room itself was clean, cosy and comfortable. It was also nice to have tea/coffee facilities (as not all German Hotels/Guest houses have this facility). The shower was also amazing (powerful) which was just what was need as we had already walked up, around and back down to visit the Neuschanstein Castle. Should you decided to dine here, be aware (as other reports have mentioned) you will receive Large portions of good home made cooked food - which is probably why the ”locals” also eat here. Breakfast had everything that you needed to start your day !! (so much food!) The hotel has plenty of car parking spaces (around the rear of the hotel) With it being centrally located, it was nice to just have a little walk around the village too. The restaurant is closed Wednesday's I understand, but I can fully recommend the Italian a few steps away from the hotel :) All in all a very pleasant stay and would certainly recommend and return (hopefully) one day. Just a little note to add : Wifi is a little confusing, but can be achieved within a short period of time (and help from Reception Staff :) ).

I took my son to Legoland , we didn’t drive. The hotel is like 20 mins of walk away from the train station of Jettingen. It’s only 16-20 mins away by car to Legoland . The staff are extremely friendly , the room is nice , the food is good , everything is good except the wifi is annoying, you need to log in with your phone number and the passcode that you receive via sms message and it kept disconnected.
