The room was huge, very new and clean. It was the hotel I hesitated to book the most during this trip, but it turned out to be the most surprising. It's perfect for a family, within walking distance of all major attractions, and there's a medium-sized supermarket about 12 minutes away. You can buy some fruit and breakfast items at the supermarket, and there's also a kitchen in the room so you can cook your own meals. Except for the room being a bit pricey during the National Day holiday—almost 5,000 yuan per night—it was great overall.

Facilities: Overall it is quite new, the toilet is a little small but the room is spacious. The air conditioner is also new. There is also a drying rack in the toilet, which is very useful. The room has a refrigerator and tea bags. The only downside is that the curtains only block out half of the light (? So it's a little less private. Hygiene: Cleaned very clean every day Environment: Very close to the train station, turn right and walk a few steps. It's also very convenient nearby. There is a supermarket downstairs. There are many Chinese restaurants around, and you can walk to various attractions. But because it is near the train station, there are sometimes teenagers screaming at night, which is quite annoying. Service: A very socially friendly hotel. The front desk is only open in the morning. When we arrived at night, we registered the information online in advance. The hotel sent us the check-in information for self-check-in. We didn't send the information on the morning of our check-in day, so we were a little anxious. Fortunately, Ctrip helped to call for consultation and sent it immediately. There are two doors in front of the room, both of which are password locked, which is safe. You have to climb one floor. There is an old European elevator that we didn't dare to use. We basically didn't see anyone in and out of the hotel. When checking out, just give the key to the lady at the front desk, and you can store your luggage.

Close to the main train station and also walking distance from beautiful Florence city center. Very convenient location. This appartement is very clean and you find what you need for your stay. Sometimes it was a bit noisy as it faces to street with quite some traffic. Also we heard neighbours talking occasionally. In general we were very glad to have selected this place.

Good location, very close to the train station & Centro storico. Room size was very good, with a BALCONY! Even though privacy may be a bit compromised but can’t have everything. It had very good natural lighting. The bathroom was also big, bigger than most bathroom in Italian hotels. I could dance & turn around in the shower stall. Check in required a bit of tech-savviness & naturally the internet. Unlocking gate & room required the use of an internet browser/done on a smart phone. There’re plenty of food options around, a bar/cafe/gelateria right down the building. Coffee machine & drinking water available for the taking. There’s a big shared fridge and an in-room fridge. Internet was fast. Plenty of charging ports/power outlets, conveniently placed (including bedside). Maybe one small suggestion: perhaps there’d be a desk. The TV didn’t work but I wouldn’t watch anything in Italian. I could YouTube with the fast internet. Good toiletries & drinking water provided & refreshed daily (some hotels don’t do this). Highly recommended.

Great farm hotel! The farmhouse is located on a hill with a superb view and overlooking Siena. It was raining all the way to Florence, and it was raining in the farm. The sky in Siena was beautiful! The owner is a 70-year-old woman, very kind and very serious, and carefully introduced the nearby attractions worth visiting. Because of three people, we booked an apartment with a separate living room dining room. The sofa in the living room is a sofa bed that can be unfolded. The sheets and towels are very clean and the bed is very comfortable. The kitchen is fully equipped, and the tea bags and snacks are delicious! When I got up in the morning, I found out that the original farmhouse had its own laundry room and it was fully equipped. There is a big supermarket opposite Siena’s out-of-town station. You can go back and buy the breakfast materials yourself. Sitting in the morning and looking out at the beautiful view of Tuscany for breakfast, enjoy it too!

The landlord is great, I thought of everything, and provided all kinds of small surprises. Password at the door to get the room card. There are vending machines at the entrance, and the price is close to the people. The kitchen offers several biscuits; several teas; coffee; welcome wine. All kinds of tableware and rags were available, so we were able to eat our own instant noodles. We cleaned them before we left. Pisa city map, mosquito coils, baby seat available.

Villa Tortorelli is a charming mix between a bed-and-breakfast and a hotel. My experience here was mostly positive, and while there were a few minor issues, I could tell that the staff genuinely does their best to run the villa as smoothly as possible. Check-in & First Impressions The first thing to note is that the villa is designed to work with automated check-in processes, which is great for most travelers. However, it could be better explained to future guests to avoid any confusion. Not everyone will have a working phone or data plan when they arrive in Italy, and it’s important for the villa to have a backup plan in case guests are unable to connect. One simple suggestion would be to provide Wi-Fi access at the entrance of the villa and share the network name and password with guests before their arrival. This would make it easier for everyone to access the automated system without any issues. Room & Comfort I stayed in the Deluxe Suite, located on the first floor of a three-story villa, right next to the breakfast room. At first, I was concerned about noise, but the thick, heavy door completely blocked any sounds from the breakfast area. I never heard a thing in the morning. The room has blackout curtains that provide great privacy and darkness, which I really appreciated. The bathroom was newly renovated with luxury finishes, including stone walls that give it a high-end feel. The room was clean, and the daily housekeeping service kept everything spotless, with fresh towels replaced daily. One of the standout features of Villa Tortorelli is Karen, the person in charge of breakfast service and housekeeping. She is incredibly attentive and hardworking. She ensures that guests are well taken care of, and the breakfast is always well-prepared and served hot. Honestly, if they lose Karen, the villa would lose two stars in reviews. She is one of their greatest assets. Breakfast Experience The breakfast service was excellent. The food is prepared fresh every morning, and Karen makes sure there is always a variety of hot and cold options available. The breakfast room is cozy and inviting, with plenty of choices to start your day off right. The Villa’s Atmosphere & Location The villa is peaceful and surrounded by greenery, making it a relaxing place to stay. It’s also within walking distance of all the major tourist attractions in Florence, which makes it very convenient for exploring the city. One Minor Issue The only negative point during my stay was that the room felt quite cold when I first arrived. However, I reached out to the WhatsApp help service, and the heating system was adjusted quickly. Within a short time, the room felt much warmer and more comfortable. Final Thoughts Overall, Villa Tortorelli is a great option for those looking for a peaceful, well-located stay in Florence. The automated check-in system could use some improvement to avoid any potential issues for guests without a data plan, but aside from that, the rooms are clean and comfortable, the breakfast is excellent, and the staff is very attentive. Would I stay here again? Yes, especially for Karen’s service and the peaceful villa atmosphere!

The B&B is very clean, you can see that it has been recently renovated, good towels, great air conditioning, good insulation of the windows, new bathroom and great service. The hotel offers a mini kitchen where we can make our own meals. You are literally in the middle of the historic center of Florence. I highly recommend it.
