I was not feeling like , I am staying in a hotel. It was more like a family environment. Actually , the hotel is small and it has a common sitting lounge on ground floor with bar and resturant in sam lounge. The lounge is more like a Modren Cafe. I would see most of the residents in lounge. I made new friends. Played different games with the. Indoor type. The staff is execellent. Very helpful. Youngsters and cooperative. Mr Jack is the head and manages everything. He is available 24/7 You feel secure. They gave me umbrella. The parking is free. Food , I didnot try because I was already sick. They offer free Breakfast . The hotel is within 5 min from Haghia sophia and Blue mosque and 10 min from grand bazar. Its amazing. One of the guest was staying for 1 month . Just to get peace of mind and relaxation They have provided guittar, all time modren music , indoor games you can play on table. Room was tidy and well heated. There was balcony view of Marmara sea. Airport to the hostel: if you arrive at Istanbul Airport ”IST”. You are just a bus 🚍 ride away, no ” Uber 📱🚖 or any other taxi needed”. In July 2023. It only costed me a 139 Turkish Lira to reach the Taksim Square. Location: From Taksim Square the hostel is about 10 minutes walking 🚶👣🚶 distance. When we arrived the gentleman ”Seyf” who welcomed us at the reception was too kind to offer us locker area to keep our luggage and invited us for breakfast as a complimentary one 🙂 Gamze - she is equally adorable and super helpful staff there. I don't recall all the names but I was impressed with every single wabi sabi team's hospitality, politeness and never to forget smile 😊 The morning breakfast is good and perfect for us to interact with other fellow travellers on the roof top. The talk during breakfast helped us ot to plan our day in Istanbul. I highly recommend.

I made a reservation for Stay Inn Taksim Hostel via Agoda.com website for 3-6 February.Due to special reasons, I could not enter the hostel on February 3, and in this case, I contacted the hostel officer and informed him that he would check in on February 4.Despite this, my reservation was canceled by the hostel just because I did not log in and the hostel officer said that if I make a new reservation with a higher price, I will only be able to stay at the hostel that way. What kind of customer satisfaction is it that I can't use a service that I have paid for in advance and that a higher fee is demanded again? So I had to stay in another hotel.If you don’t want to happen this to you never choose Stay Inn Taksim Hostel and should definitely stay away! Agoda.com internet sitesi üzerinden Stay Inn Taksim Hostel adlı hostele 3-6 Şubat tarihleri için kredi kartı ile peşin ödeyerek rezervasyon yaptım. Özel sebeplerden dolayı 3 Şubatta hostele giriş yapamadım ve bu durumu hostel görevlisi ile görüşerek 4 Şubatta giriş yapacağımı ilettim ve görevli tarafından hostele giriş bilgileri tarafıma iletildi. Fakat buna rağmen 4 Şubatta hostele gittiğimde otele giriş yapmadığım için hostel tarafından rezervasyonumun iptal edildiğini, konaklama ücretinin iade edemeyeceklerini ve yeniden daha yüksek ücretle rezervasyon yapılırsa ancak o şekilde konaklayabileceğim söylendi. Ücretini peşin olarak ödediğim bir hizmetten ertesi gün geleceğimi bildirdiğim halde faydalanamayıp bir de üstüne tekrar daha yüksek ücret talep edilmesi nasıl bir müşteri memnuniyetidir? Şehir dışından geldiğim için de başka otelde konaklamak durumunda kaldım. Bir an önce konaklamadığım halde onayım alınmadan hostel tarafından tek taraflı olarak iptal edilen rezervasyon ücretinin iade edilmesini ve oluşan mağduriyetin giderilmesini istiyorum. Bir daha asla Stay Inn Taksim Hostel'i tercih etmem ve kesinlikle uzak durulmalı!

Well, I booked online for our family of 5 members. They advised they have an apartment suitable for us. When I reached there, we found that the apartment is not in the main building, we have to climb long stairs Infront of the building, then go up a little hill, then go up again the stairs for 3 floors with all the luggage just to find out that the apartment has only one AC in the main room but the other one with the sofa and extra bed has no AC in August!!!! That was very very disappointing since it was never mentioned anywhere, neither that the apartment is in a separate building nor it is in a higher floor or not fully air-condionned but what happened next was what made us feel at home. Bora, the one at the reception, who confirmed my booking then did his best to try shuffling some rooms so we can fit in the main building but since me and the rest of the family were willing to stay together, I suggested to try one night and see if we could handle the heat or we will need to move to more than one room in the main building. At night we had a wonderful window view of the old town and Galata tower that I wouldn't give for any air-conditoned room :))) Despite the apartment was very small and we could barely move but it was really clean and it had everything we could need to feel home. The sound of seagulls woke us up in the morning and we slept watching the moonlight covering Galata Tower at night. A wonderful experience i wish to repeat, we were lucky because it was full moon. They always sent someone to clean and change the bed sheets and towels, and they did their best helping with the luggage up and down. The day of check out, they were very generous, they made a discount on the full amount as an apology we didn't know much about the apartment, and the owner offered us simit and cheese, a very traditional yet yummy Turkish breakfast. I loved the stay, what made it beautiful was the generosity of the staff, how welcoming they were, the cleanness of the place and the unforgettable view of the apartment, I will definitely go back

Everything is brand new and spotlessly clean! The hostel is located in the Asian part of Istanbul and is on the 6th upper floor. There is a supermarket ”BIM” on the ground floor - very convenient. The underground station ”Bostanci” (line M4) is within 5 minutes walking distance. and goes directly to the airport ”Sabiha Gokcen SAW”. Great location! The bed and pillows were very comfortable, rarely had such a comfortable pillow. Extra thumbs up for it. Each bed has a socket and a small reading lamp on the headboard and a no basket on a wall lattice. Everything was very thought out! Bed linen, toilet, shower were also very clean! Mert, the host is extremely helpful, attentive, open-minded and the team also makes a great effort to make the hostel guests feel comfortable. Safe and welcome feeling of living! Hospitality excellent! Co-working area is well equipped. Great wifi, work stations, meeting room - everything there. The digital nomads that were on site were thrilled and are partly there for another time. The kitchen has everything you need for cooking. If you want to join a WhatsApp group via a QR code - through this group, various activities are organized/communicated. Great atmosphere in general. Will book here again for the next Istanbul stay! Nostalji Hostel could be great, but it's not! It is close to Taxim Square, but the road is very steep. The area is very scruffy and so is the hostel. The building is old and dilapidated. The bathrooms particularly. In one small toile there is a shower but you have to sit on the toilet to use the shower. All the floors are old and look dirty I spite of the hard work of the cleaning ladies. The bedrooms are a good size but there are so many bunk beds crammed in that they feel very cramped. Breakfast is a bit of a joke. No butter and no knife to spread the triangle of processed cheese. Where to eat it? Not in the kitchen! I ate mine in a room equipped with two sofas. Unfortunately the sink was used for tooth brushing, gargling and clearing of nasal passages. Not very appetising. Most guests seem to use their beds! The hostel boasts a terrace and a cafe. The cafe is a takeaway with a phone number. The terrace is a very dirty roof which was used as a rubbish dump. The staff are great. Not so much English but they tried to make me feel welcome

Nos hospedamos 2 noches en una habitación de 4 camas para mujeres. Dormí muy bien pues no hay tráfico cerca del hostal , la ubicación es perfecta, el staff es muy amable, el desayuno incluido es balanceado te dan fruta, verduras, huevo, pan, café o té. La vista en la terraza es muy linda. Recomiendo este hostal.
