I visited Haikou with friends during the National Day holiday and met the hospitable and lovely landlady on the very first day. She treated us to drinks and delicious food. We all chatted and had a great time :D The landlady is beautiful and kind, and her sister is also very pretty and cheerful. Both are very talkative and knowledgeable. It was a fantastic stay! The rooms have private bathrooms, and the dorm beds have curtains for privacy. Everyone was warm and interesting, and I met some lovely fellow travelers. The location is also excellent. You can walk to Haida Night Market, and there are many restaurants offering delicious food and a wide variety of goods. Taxis are easy to catch, and if you walk a bit further from the entrance, there's a bus stop, making transportation very convenient. I highly recommend everyone to visit! The best Banana (referring to the hostel name)! It's a pity I didn't take many photos. So, I'll just show the character '好' (good) that I left behind while playing games with a cute little girl I met at Banana, and the delicious meal made by an amazing young lady from Chongqing, haha. Words can't fully express how wonderful Banana is; everyone should come and experience it for themselves!

The hygiene was appalling. There was trash strewn all over the room. The person on the bottom bunk had their bed light on all night, staying up past 4 AM, playing music loudly on their phone, and smoking in bed. I was woken up twice by the smoke, once at 2 AM and again at 4 AM. When I asked them to stop, they claimed they were using it to repel mosquitoes. Thanks, I guess I was the one who got repelled first!

This is a perfect place for women, especially those who experience motion sickness after an early morning flight. You don't have to worry about being alone after landing. It's right inside the airport. Just turn right at the convenience store, buy a drink, and then turn left at the end. The front desk lady was also very kind and attentive. Late arrivals shouldn't be too disturbed by the noise. It might not be suitable for those with poor sleep quality, but those who fall asleep easily can actually sleep more soundly with the added white noise of the airport.

CAN I RATE THE SERVICE 100? The staff is absolutely superb, and the location is great! I will definitely stay here again if I come back to Sanya. - Cleanliness: It’s not bad, but it didn’t quite meet my personal cleanliness benchmark, so I’d rate it 4.5/5. - Location: The location is excellent. There are so many restaurants nearby, including a bakery and a supermarket. It’s only a 6-minute walk to the beach 😎, a 40-minute walk to Jiefeng Road (Jiefeng Pediatrician Street), and a 35-minute relaxing walk to the famous Luhuitou Scenic Area. Do I walk too much? LOL. The hostel is also close to many bus stops, making it super convenient to get around. 5/5 - Service: The front desk service was unforgettable. Even though they only operate until midnight (-1 for that), the daytime staff is sooooooo nice! I don’t speak Chinese, but the staff member spoke pretty good English and put in so much effort to help me communicate 😭😭. He even recommended a great restaurant! So... 99/5? - Facilities: There’s a cozy café space outside where we could work at night. They provide a washing machine, dryer, and hanging space, which is cool (even though I didn’t use them). They also offer a shared refrigerator, shampoo, shower gel, and a hairdryer—BUT no towel (you can rent one for ¥10, by the way). 4/5 Verdict: Definitely one of my ”no-regret” decisions. I will come back again. **P.S.** If you want to try some traditional food, go for coconut chicken (the portion is huge, so you should go with friends) or 抱罗粉 (Boulou Powder? Not sure what it’s called in English, LOL).

As soon as I came in, the shoes at the door were messy and a bit smelly. The first impression was actually not good. But I went to see another one in the same community, and it was even worse. This one has a large living room, but the lazy sofa and cushions are dirty. I went to the bathroom while waiting to check in, and the garbage was outside the trash can. The room is relatively damp and musty. The clothes and shelves on the small balcony are scattered all over the floor without being taken care of. There are a lot of bird droppings and rust on the storage board and chairs on the viewing balcony. The advantages are a good location, a beautiful balcony window view, a large bathroom and room, disposable pads, and a card locker. The boss wrote a lot of tips by hand, and the projector can be used. The most worth mentioning is that it is very convenient to dry clothes. The balcony is large and there are many clothes drying racks. Both the main door and the room door require a password to enter, which is very reassuring. There are water dispensers and cups in the public area for free. This price is higher than other youth hostels in Haikou. It would be even better if the hygiene can be maintained well.

Opposite the bus station on the pedestrian street of Sanya Old Town There will be a lot of buses here, which can directly reach Nanhai, Tianya Haijiao, Luhuitou, some night markets and other attractions. I stayed in a multi-person room type, one of which has a long-term sister. Her personal hygiene is very clean and the room looks very bright. The only bad thing is that this youth hostel also has a corporate dormitory, so the public area will be a little messy. Overall it is worth recommending 😁

What an excellent hostel -- probably the cleanest I've ever stayed at, very helpful boss, great views of the city, in an interesting neighborhood close a bunch of restaurants and to both the train and bus station. Perfect for day trips around Haikou. 特别好的青年宿舍。地位很方便，老板挺有帮助的。可能最好的是，我住了的宿舍最干净之一的。肯定给其他人推荐。

Good location. Convenient to go places, bus stops restaurants beach and shops are all nearby. The place isn't new and in this case it's more of a compliment it's got some soul. People are circulating here and life goes on. It's a bit of a gamble who you are going to meet and the experience here was mostly positive. Stayed here for 8 days. The outside area is amazing. Overall pleasent experience

The location is excellent, the room is clean and comfortable, the Thai restaurant owner downstairs is very friendly, the noodles are delicious, there are a lot of seafood, the sunset is watched at Queen's Harbor, it is recommended to go to Wuzhizhou Island in the morning, the weather is very good, the Gaga slices are out, the refreshing tonic is super delicious, it is a good trip.

Hello. It was our first time in China, we just booked a room for the first night. Upon arrival it turned out to be a hostel and the boys were in one room, the girls in another. It was a bit inconvenient, I was sleeping and my husband couldn't come in because men weren't allowed in 😆 Overall the owner was great and everything else. I wouldn't recommend it to families, it was just inconvenient.
