I still want to recommend this accommodation overall, the facilities and rooms are quite nice. However, I think the male manager in the breakfast area really needs some reflection and proper training. There are two breakfast options here: €8 and €4. I chose the €4 one, but nothing happened for a while. His female colleague, whose English wasn’t very fluent, only took the payment and gave me a coffee. Later, they handed me an empty paper bag for breakfast. When I started to use the bag, the male manager repeatedly told me that the breakfast only included “one coffee and one croissant” he said it at least three times. I also replied that I had received an empty bag and no croissant at all. Instead of explaining politely or resolving the issue, he just kept repeating himself and walked away without doing anything. Overall, the place itself is good, but the staff training is seriously lacking. Even if they’re not sure about something, basic politeness and communication should be expected, and unfortunately, this male manager clearly hasn’t received such training.

The hostel is located 8 minutes walk from Milano Bovisa Politecnico train station. Direct train to and from Malpensa Airport T2 just takes 30 minutes. As far as getting around the city of Milano, there is a Tram-Bus stop (Bausan) just under 5 minutes walk from hostel (after the round about). The 4 bedded sharing room comes with en-suite bathroom with timed hot showers. Bath towel available for rent at 2€. Hostel-wide WiFi access available. The in-house bar-bistro offers good selection of Italian and international fairs. For weary travellers the in-house dinning option is most appreciated. During the day, the common area has a more co-working vibe. As the sun sets, the ambiance transitions to a buzzing vibrant bar-bistro.

Прекрасный хостел! Находится в красивом здании. Я брала кровать в комнате на 6 девушек. При комнате была собственная ванная комната. Все чисто, современно. На кухне есть все необходимое. Отличный бонус : бар при хостеле. По выходным там играют музыканты. При этом шумоизоляция прекрасная : за дверью бара уже не слышно.

場所は、メトロ駅から近く、またミラノ中央駅から徒歩20分ほどで便利なところにあります。掃除はしっかりとされてるように感じます。遅く着いた場合でもスムーズにチェックインができました。サッカー試合観戦に行くときにチケットの印刷なども快くしてやってくださり大変助かりました。スタッフの皆さんはとてもフレンドリーで協力的。英語は十分に通じます。チェックアウト後はロッカーに荷物を預けられます。かなり大きな荷物でも入る大きなロッカーで一日5ユーロで鍵はホステルのものを使用します。

Area is okayish although the building off-season is a bit creepy. 1 toilet and 1 shower per floor. Cleanish but the shower is super cramped so you will have to step in to be able to close the rest of the shower closet. Cabin is supposed to have some sort of TV and high tech functions but clearly this has not been mantained. Bed is extremely soft. I would have slept even better if the dorm light could be switched of; instead the light bled through the curtain opening, necessitating two different sleep masks. Free breakfast in the morning which is always nice!

всё было в принципе неплохо. хорошая, большая одна комната с большим шкафом и интересной душевой (как я понял, это как бы надстройка в пространстве помещения, т.е. ты буквально входишь в душевую/туалет как на подиум). но есть и минусы: ночью в конце января (когда я и жил тут) было холодно, и при этом отключалась тёплая вода и батареи! в чём смысл — непонятно. также, думаю, можно было бы и поставить вместо бутылей с разбодяженым жидким мылом одноразовые гели для душа и шампуни. так было бы идеально. 7/1

The best thing about this hostel is its location, just one stop from Lampugnano Bus Station. However, I didn’t really like the hostel as it gave off a creepy vibe. The walk from the station is very quiet, though you can trust Google Maps to guide you. The hostel is tucked away in an alley off the main road. The shower room has only a plastic cover, not a proper door, and wasn’t very clean. The room reminded me of a prison or rehab facility, and even the living room had an unappealing, old-fashioned style. The shared kitchen isn't clean. Additional charges include €3 for a large towel, €2 for a small towel, €3.5 for using the washing machine, and €3.5 for the dryer.

Amazing location — just a few minutes’ walk to the Duomo and metro station. The staff were super friendly, cheerful, and always ready to help. The atmosphere was lively and social, with free welcome drinks, shared dinners, and plenty of opportunities to meet other travelers. The common areas and rooftop terrace were cozy and fun, and breakfast was great too! The room had a slight musty smell and the air circulation wasn’t very good, so it felt a bit stuffy at times. However, everything else was great and the staff made the stay enjoyable.

We stayed at Central Hostel BG as a family of three adults and two children, and overall we had a very pleasant experience. The location is excellent—very central and convenient for walking to nearby attractions, shops, and restaurants, which made travelling with kids much easier. The room was clean, comfortable, and suitable for a family stay. The beds were comfortable, and the hostel was generally quiet at night, allowing everyone to rest well. The common areas were tidy and well maintained. The staff were friendly, helpful, and accommodating, especially when we needed assistance with directions and local information. We felt welcomed throughout our stay. For families looking for affordable accommodation in a central location, Central Hostel BG is a good option. We would recommend it to families who value location, cleanliness, and friendly service.
