I booked the dormitory room, it is clean and there is dorm only for female. it is so sad that staffs cannot speak English well, but they tried to serve the foreigners as good as possible. Overall, if you just go to sleep or stay a night, it is good place for you. It is close to Aoshima Jingu.
It is very convenient that there is bus stop in front of the hotel, good for people to go other Miyazaki places

Hostel Marika was very clean and conveniently located in the center of town with Obi Castle Ruins a couple of blocks away and a grocery store and shops right across the street. Train station is about 15 mins away by foot

Good location. Within easy walking distance to the beach. Boards can be rented. Unfortunately, a group of travelers did not respect the quiet rule in the sleeping area. It was quite loud for the duration of my stay. I would hope the hostel enforces the rules more strictly in the future.

AAnonymous UserA rock-paper-scissors game was set up for the children to enjoy, and my daughters had fun playing it with the staff and receiving presents.
There was only a shower, so we went in the hot spring, which was thick and felt great.
With the ocean right in front of us, we ate our lunch outside.
The location was great, as we could walk to Aoshima Shrine.
My kids were happy and said they would like to stay again.

シシンジンI think it's perfect for those who want to keep it cheap because they just sleep. There is one entrance and there are multiple rooms from there. I think there were about 8 rooms on the first floor. It's a double room, but the room has only a bed and a desk, and there is no TV or refrigerator. The size is a bit narrow but not cramped. I can hear the voices around me.
There is a joint space, there is a refrigerator there, but there is no TV.
I think security is fine because the room takes a password type lock.
I went by car, but I didn't know where it was and passed by. The landmark is a cleaning shop. There is a hotel sign beside the cleaning. Walk by the side and you will find the entrance.
