Check-in was a breeze, and I found the hotel to be very conveniently located near public transportation. Overall, the atmosphere was quite pleasant, and the other guests were very respectful. Both the facilities and amenities were pretty satisfying. If you're a solo traveler looking for a happy and comfortable stay, this place is a great option.

I chose Rosalma Hostel mainly because of its very convenient location. However, female travellers may want to be aware of a few things before booking. The female dorms were fully booked when I stayed, so I booked a mixed dorm. The toilets and showers are mixed-gender, and the shower cubicles are very small, with little space to change. On a few mornings, I encountered male guests entering the area wearing only underwear before showering. Although they were simply using the facilities, I found the arrangement uncomfortable and would have preferred more private or female-only shower facilities. More importantly, after my first night, I developed swelling, pain and blisters on exposed areas of skin, including my arms, neck, ankles and the tops of my feet. After returning to London, I showed the affected areas to three pharmacy staff members at Boots, who independently said that the symptoms were consistent with bed bug bites. I cannot confirm that the hostel was the source, as I travelled elsewhere during the trip. However, given the timing and the pattern of the bites, I think the hostel should thoroughly check the relevant beds and rooms. The location is convenient, but female travellers who prioritise privacy and cleanliness may want to consider these points before booking.

The property is right in the city center; in a convenient location that allows you to easily get around on foot. Everything is generally clean, both the lobby and the room. The photo in the advert is a bit misleading; the room I was assigned was smaller than the one in the photo, and instead of a small balcony, there was only a window, but it was still very bright. During my stay, the elevator was out of order, which was a major inconvenience: the lobby is on the third floor and the rooms are on the top (fifth), so this is a factor to take into consideration.

Small hostel located near two metro stations (one linked to porto's train station and the other to airport). Many cheap and good food near the hostel. Small but clean shower and toilet. And you have personal locker with key as well. Cons is that the hostel has no AC and beds do not have curtains for privacy.

Very clean hostel with a great atmosphere. Porto Spot Hostel is spotless and well-maintained. My only small issue was some noise from other guests late at night and early in the morning, but overall it’s a great place to stay in Porto

It was so beautiful and insanely good! We stayed in a dormitory with a mix of 6 people. The room has a locker with a key, two separate toilets and two showers. The hair dryer is also very good. You can also use the shared kitchen and refrigerator. The staff was very kind and helpful.

It was a rainy day when I arrived in Porto and saw a very sad city, but it was still incredibly beautiful. Susana, the person in charge of the hostel when I arrived, was the best part of the stay, kind, smiling, she reminded me that, even on days like this, the sun is always there. I will definitely come back. Recommendation: always bring earplugs: choosing a female room to avoid snoring is a dream. We snore too😂

Located inside the train station, it boasts excellent accessibility and a convenient location for sightseeing. It's situated within the station famous for its azulejo tile decorations. Nearby are famous McDonald's restaurants, nata (egg tart) shops, and bifana restaurants. The rooms and bathrooms are clean. The only drawback is that the rooms are cold. Closing the wooden door by the window helped a little, but the heater-like device near the door seemed weak. It was somewhat noisy outside, but quiet inside the building. As of January 2026, the road in front of the station is under construction, so you may need to take a slight detour depending on your destination.

Loves this hostel but no lift, kitchen is a underground floor, have cooking facility, breakfast is euro three but only bread with jam butter n cheese. Hot drink teh coffee and milk. No eggs no yoghurt. No fruits. Dormitory Room is big with toilet inside. Location is very good. Near to Sao Bento metro. A lot of shopping area around the hostel. Very good, will stay there again. Housekeeping is well kept. Staff is friendly and helpful. We stay four days three nights there.

I booked this hotel because of its impressive interior design. The location, service, and cleanliness were all top-notch. The view from the hotel's common areas is stunning. They also offer free bath towel rentals, which is a nice touch. I especially enjoyed the fresh orange juice at breakfast. Besides breakfast, they also have a snack service and coffee available throughout the day, which was great. I would definitely stay here again if I have the chance to visit Porto.
