Jolly Boys is laid back. Very chilled however the laidback aspect is a bit much when you have to wake the reception staff to check in at 1700hrs and again to ask a question at 0900hrs. Whilst sleepy, they are extremely friendly. The place is generally clean- just other travellers with feet on seats and tables makes the place look slightly rough and ready. The bar had cold beer and water but not much else. It feels like the place needs a firm grip from management. All this said, it’s a great place in a great location and a fair price. Would likely return.

バックパック一人旅で利用しました。私が利用した際は一人旅の人は多分おらず部屋も1人で使えました。 スタッフは優しく丁寧で、ドミトリーとして標準的な清潔感だと思います。詳細は以下の通りです。 Wi-Fiはレセプション周辺のみで使えて部屋では使えませんでした。シャワーはお湯が出ます。私が訪れたのは4月ですがシャワー室にはたくさんの蚊がいたのでそれは少し残念でした。次の日の朝起きると枕元に大きな蜘蛛がいたのは少し怖かったですがアフリカらしさですね笑笑 部屋にはエアコンはなく、各ベッドについてるファンは作動しないので夏は暑いと思います。 飲める水の出るタップがあるのでそれも便利でした。ロケーションは完璧で、荷物も鍵のある部屋で預かってくれます。 ここはスタッフはとても優しく素晴らしく買ったですが、他の宿泊者に感して残念だったことがありました。これはこのホステルには関係ないので評価には含めていません。ただの宿泊者への注意喚起です。宿泊中1人のナミビアからの40歳ほどの旅行者に声をかけられ挨拶しました。するとその人に、たいした会話もないうちからここには書きたくないようなセクハラを受け、その後もずっと性的な誘いをされ続けました。何度断っても、無視してもです。レセプションにしかWi-Fiがなかったのに、最低限の利用で部屋に引き上げないといけませんでした。もし夜にその人に部屋までついてこられたり、シャワー室で待ち伏せされてたらどうしようと恐怖でした。スタッフに相談することも考えましたがスタッフからの注意で逆上されることも怖くて結局言えませんでした。 ドミトリーという性質上そういう人に会う可能性は常にありますが本当に気持ち悪かったです。彼はよくここを利用していると言っていたのでご注意ください。

我非常推薦我在利文斯通的酒店，這裏的環境很好，工作人員很熱情，可以和前台溝通行程請求前台幫忙訂車去卡宗古拉關口，入境博茨瓦納。這裏的早餐很乾凈，廚房有一個披薩爐，在這裏可以吃到現做的披薩，並且可以觀看歐洲盃，在酒店裡還有一個bar 晚上可以來這裏放鬆認識其他人。非常推薦，價格實惠，環境優美，工作人員親切友善。 I highly recommend the hotel I stayed at in Livingstone. The environment is beautiful and relaxing, and the staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming. You can easily communicate with the front desk to help arrange your itinerary, including booking a ride to the Kazungula border for entry into Botswana. The breakfast is clean and satisfying. There’s even a pizza oven in the kitchen where you can enjoy freshly made pizzas! During my stay, I could also watch the Euro Cup matches here. There’s a bar at the hotel as well—perfect for relaxing in the evening and meeting new people. I truly enjoyed my stay here. Great value for money, lovely surroundings, and genuinely kind staff. Highly recommended!

OOcramGreat hotel! It's more than a backpackers hostel! Great management a wonderful helpful staff Joy and Miriam and Mathew did a great job! Lovely rooms with AC. Good bathrooms. Wonderful quiet garden with pool. Well stocked bar. Safe parking. Self storage kitchen with cooking equipment. Great outdoor Fire pit and BBQ facility. Good breakfast. A small mall opposite with very well stocked supermarket and banks and currency exchange. Wish I could've stayed longer!

Rooms are small, a single room is just right for one person, fairly clean and tidy, with a fan and mosquito net. Showers are available in the shared bathroom. (👱♀️) Service: The front desk staff are warm and attentive. (🍽) Dining: Breakfast is not included; à la carte meals cost 80-180 quarta (30-60 RMB), and the food is decent. Lunch and dinner can also be ordered separately; credit cards are accepted. (💰) Price: 280 per night (excluding breakfast) from January 4th to 5th, 2026 (🎊) Value for Money: Fairly good value (🇨🇳) Review: 📶Wi-Fi is only available at the front desk or in rooms near the front desk. AAnonymous UserI used it on a backpack solo trip. When I used it, there were probably no people traveling alone and the room was available by myself. I think the staff is gentle and polite and standard cleanliness as a dormitory. The details are as follows. Wi-Fi was only available around the reception and was not available in the room. The shower has hot water. I visited in April but it was a bit disappointing because there were a lot of mosquitoes in the shower room. I was a little scared that there was a big spider at the pillow when I woke up the next morning, but it's African. There is no air conditioner in the room, and the fans on each bed do not work, so I think it's hot in summer. It was also convenient because there was a tap with drinking water. The location is perfect and luggage will be kept in a room with a key. The staff here was very kind and nice to buy, but I was disappointed with other guests. This is not included in the evaluation as it has nothing to do with this hostel. It's just a warning to guests. During my stay, I was greeted by a 40-year-old traveler from Namibia. Then, after receiving sexual harassment that I didn't want to write here before I had a lot of conversation, I continued to be sexually invited. No matter how many times I refuse or ignore it. There was only Wi-Fi in the reception, but I had to pull it up to the room with a minimum use. I was afraid what to do if the person was followed to the room at night or ambushed in the shower room. I thought about consulting with the staff, but I was afraid that I would be reversed by the attention of the staff, so I couldn't say it after all. Due to the nature of the dormitory, I always have the possibility of meeting such a person, but it was really disgusting. Please note that he often said he used this place.
