We had a very great and pleasant stay for two nights in the habarana cinnamon lodge. Our room was really nice and comfortable. We enjoyed great breakfast and dinner in the restaurant and were completely surrounded by the gentle and friendly stuff. Especially from Aksana… he was attentive and polite! Thank you for making our vacation great!

Uga Ulagalla Resort is a private luxury resort located in a beautiful green forest in the heart of Sri Lanka. This is the most serene, soothing, and exquisitely built property. Spaciously laid out, with incredibly comfortable spacious villas including personal plunge pools, enormous balconies placed amongst enormous trees in the forest. We stayed here for two nights in February 2024 and had a fantastic time altogether. The staff went above and above to make our stay unforgettable, and everyone from the front desk to the various sections is really nice and attentive. We were wonderfully taken care of from the minute we entered the building until we left. Throughout our stay, Dilrukshi and Darshika ensured that we were having fun and were constantly eager to learn what might be done to improve things. The food was just fantastic, and the service was excellent. There was a broad choice of options from an a la carte menu. Shiraz deserves special recognition for providing extremely helpful and good customer service while maintaining impeccable decorum. Kayaking at sunrise was a breathtaking experience, and I'd want to thank Katharina for making our stay at Uga Ulagalla so unforgettable. The buggy driver, Vimukthi, provided exceptional customer service with excellent manners, proving to be very helpful. We went horseback riding and absolutely appreciated the experience. If you want to spend a nice and peaceful holiday in Sri Lanka, Uga Ulagalla Resort is the ideal destination. THANK YOU!!!

We stayed here for just one night to visit the sites of Anuradhapura but we would have happily stayed longer! It was absolutely terrific value for money - the room was large and spotlessly clean, and fresh towels etc were all provided. The service from the staff was also excellent - we arrived when it was absolutely pouring with rain and we were helped in with umbrellas and shown to our room. We were also driving our own car so can confirm that parking was easy and the gated front made the parking feel secure. We paid for breakfast in the morning where we had string hoppers with fish curry and sat at a little table outside to eat where there were nice flowers pots and a real effort had been made with the little garden. The food was delicious and great value. This is a budget hotel so guests expectations must be in line with that - for the price this far exceeded our expectations. This hotel is in an absolutely beautiful nature setting, and the spacious rooms command wonderful views of that setting. The rooms themselves are beautifully designed - all wood and concrete, creating a modern yet very natural ambiance. The pool is lovely, in its own nature setting. The limited menu, all made to order, is high quality and quite varied - both local and Western dishes are offered. The staff are very hospitable and helpful. Using the town of Habarana, and this hotel, as a base is a great way to see the major sites in the near vicinity: Sigiriya, Polonnawaru, Anuradhapura.

Se trata de una Guest House sencilla, pero que cuenta con todo lo que necesita el viajero. Las habitaciones cuentan con mosquitera y están muy limpias. Las camas son muy cómodas, al igual que las almohadas y el personal es muy atento y amable ofreciéndote todos los servicios que puedas necesitar. Mención aparte merece el restaurante, de las mejores opciones para comer en la ciudad incluso aunque no te alojes en la Guest house.
