Wow! The Bold Type Hotel was a wonderful place to stay! Pros: The hotel is an easy walk to shops and restaurants There was parking right in front of the hotel Our room was lovely! Large, clean and nicely decorated The bathroom not only nicely appointed, but large compared to other places we stayed. The staff was super nice and helpful! Our room had robes Breakfast was included and it was delicious! Be sure to try the chocolate dessert pancakes! This was one of the nicest hotels we stayed at in Greece! We only had 1 con: We stayed in room 309 - it was very noisy at night due to street noise...so, I would ask for a room that does not face the street. This is a wonderful hotel and would definitely stay again if I were in Patras!

Gutes Frühstück, vor allem für Menschen die gerne Süßes mögen. Das Hotel mag zwar nicht das allerneuste sein, aber es ist super gepflegt und blitzblank sauber. Der große Pool ist ein Traum, der Strand direkt anschließend, das Wasser kristallklar. Personal immer hilfsbereit und durchwegs englischsprachig. Sehr bequeme Betten. Die Klimaanlage regelt gut und ist flüsterleise. Ich würde dringend ein meerseitiges Zimmer empfehlen, der Ausblick ist ein Traum. Gut finde ich auch die Stationen an denen man gratis gefiltertes, gekühltes Trinkwasser beziehen kann. Das spart Tonnen an Plastik. Zwei Sachen die Verbesserung bedürfen: Erstens, der Wassersparduschkopf im Bad ”übertreibt es” ein bisschen: es kommt so wenig Wasser mit Null Druck raus, dass man zum Haarewaschen am Ende doppelt so lange braucht. Zweitens verdient der Kaffee beim Frühstücksbuffet seinen Namen nicht. Einfach ein oder zwei Filterkaffeemaschinen dazu stellen mit gutem Kaffee als Option. Die zwei Kritikpunkte rechtfertigen meines Erachtens aber keinen Abzug, daher 5 Kügelchen. Den besten Kaffee in der Nähe (5 Autominuten) findet ihr übrigens bei ”Coffee Island”

Fantastic Easter Tea for 80 guests, in honor FAROS Center Candle Workshop. It was a successful evening on March 27, 2023, as my Christmas 2022, Easter 2022 Teas. It was more than a ”Tea”-Chef Thanasis offered a rich menue, although we were in a Fasting period. Smoked Salmon, Shrimps, Octopus, Falafel, et al and a luscious Fruit Tart with Coconut Milk no one could believe was not 100% dairy Cream. I cannot say enough as to the quality, variety. Incomparable to any 5 Star Hotel in Athens and at a minumum cost when comparing! Bravo to Chef Thanasis and his ”magic wand” and to all the staff serving us!!! The Manager Nicholaos Pappas and his Team, Mr. Kevin included, treated us all ”royally”! A true professional, kind, and charming welcome! Many guests telephoned to thank me for offering them a wonderful event. Most of all the Faros Team were pleased seeing all the happy smiles of the guests. Thank you one and all for the organization, ambiance, and professionalism offered to us! Look forward to Christmas 2023 Faros Tea!

Cons: 1) The famous Patras Steps are 15 min walk away. Not really close. The museum is even further away.

Our room had robes Breakfast was included and it was delicious! Be sure to try the chocolate dessert pancakes! This was one of the nicest hotels we stayed at in Greece! We only had 1 con: We stayed in room 309 - it was very noisy at night due to street noise...so, I would ask for a room that does not face the street. This is a wonderful hotel and would definitely stay again if I were in Patras!

Fantastic Easter Tea for 80 guests, in honor FAROS Center Candle Workshop. It was a successful evening on March 27, 2023, as my Christmas 2022, Easter 2022 Teas. It was more than a ”Tea”-Chef Thanasis offered a rich menue, although we were in a Fasting period. Smoked Salmon, Shrimps, Octopus, Falafel, et al and a luscious Fruit Tart with Coconut Milk no one could believe was not 100% dairy Cream. I cannot say enough as to the quality, variety. Incomparable to any 5 Star Hotel in Athens and at a minumum cost when comparing! Bravo to Chef Thanasis and his ”magic wand” and to all the staff serving us!!! The Manager Nicholaos Pappas and his Team, Mr. Kevin included, treated us all ”royally”! A true professional, kind, and charming welcome! Many guests telephoned to thank me for offering them a wonderful event. Most of all the Faros Team were pleased seeing all the happy smiles of the guests. Thank you one and all for the organization, ambiance, and professionalism offered to us! Look forward to Christmas 2023 Faros Tea!

酒店馬路對麪就是大海，很新，乾淨，裝修風格年輕簡潔，電視機比較大，房間麪積還行，有個小陽台，既無風景可看也沒有座椅，純屬雞肋，洗漱用品是大瓶裝，沒有拖鞋牙具等任何一次性用品，沒有mini bar燒水壺，沒有小冰箱、飲用水，連刷牙杯也沒有，前台連着酒吧，前台姑娘很熱情，問前台要了玻璃杯才刷了牙，雖然很環保，但着實不方便，洗手間沒有吹風機電源插頭，吹風機必須拿到房間裏來用，早餐較差簡單品種少。總之適合商務出差短住，不適合帶孩子，有比較大的停車場可免費停車
