This was our first stay here. It was clean and very nice. If you were staying for several nights it would be great because it has a nice little kitchen and a good workspace. We would have preferred a room with a bathtub. I don't know if all are like that. But ours was shower only (a big one though). My wife prefers a bathtub. The breakfast buffet was good, offering hot items. It was free. This hotel allows pets. I am sure they have pet rooms and non pet rooms, but you may see a dog in the elevator, etc. because we did. The bed was comfortable. The pillows were too soft for us but that is a matter of preference. Great location.

LaTonya B came to my aid when I was traveling and needed a place to stay very late in the evening as the hotel I booked in Auburn, Al turned out to be a motel and looked abandon and unsafe. The hotel not only had friendly staff, those staying there were equally as friendly. I guess a great hotel experience breeds happy customers!

It provided a very comfortable place for business travelers.

Hotel seems brand new. Beds and pillows comfortable. Shower and elevators oddly not that clean but everywhere else spotless. The whole coffee/ beverage area was out of service which was a pain at breakfast. We also forgot toothpaste and I was surprised they couldn’t help us. Had to find a cvs. I would definitely try an avid hotel again based on this though.

Service was excellent, friendly staff. Bathroom had hair in shower, questioned if the room had been throughly cleaned. Pillows, sheets, and towels did not smell fresh.

Probably the worst chain hotel I've ever been. There are some rundown hotels/motels across the country, but few with brand name. The photos on the official Clarion page for this hotel are from another decade. The staff were polite, but the condition of this place is unacceptable. When I tried to open my room door, it was partially collapsed onto the threshold. The picture attached says it all. The room had an overwhelming smell of bleach, while the carpet looked stained and decades old. The towels/wash clothes went from shades of dull white and gray to brown. One towel was heavily stained and looked like it was used to clean up a coffee spill. While it did not smell used, I had no way of knowing just how long it was on the rack. I took them back to the front desk where they were politely exchanged, but what I given was not much better. The air conditioner worked, but was extremely loud and in bad condition. Back to the photos of their site, the pool has been closed for some time, as they have a ”Closed due to Covid” sign on it. The wooden arbor/pergola in the photo that looks brand spanking new has many missing beams due to rot. Reaching out to Choice Hotels/Clarion Customer Service, they seem to believe my experience is nothing more than an ”isolated incident”. If 24/7/365 is an isolated condition, I might agree.

Was very pleased that they have resumed serving a hot breakfast (eggs, bacon, sausage, biscuits & gravy, etc.), unlike other hotels in the area. Typically clean, quiet and safe stay, with very comfortable beds. Great service. They have an enclosed business center, that provides some privacy. Was disappointed to discover that they have filled in their indoor pool, to convert to a new fitness center, as the pool was a favorite amenity. But, it will be nice to have a larger fitness center. I'm a repeat visitor (many times), and will definitely be back.
