Hotel 3-Star di Melaka, Malaysia

The hotel is located within walking distance to many eateries as well as jonker st. We booked this hotel based on friend's good review in the past. However its facilities are quite run down. When we checked in there's only sugar provided, no coffee/tea as part of the usual complimentary drinks in the room. Why only sugar satchets (see pic). The mini fridge is also no working, only noise but no cooling element. Totally cannot be used. I had to resort to getting ice from eateries outside to cool my drinks. One of the power buttons at the wall below the tv also came loose when powered on. It's a safety hazard. Then the bathroom toilet bowl (see pic) has so many cracks. One can only hope it doesn't give way half way while using it! Even the basin table top has a huge crack on the surface too. For the price I think we could get better value elsewhere.

The hotel is conveniently located just one street off Jonker Street. Although the Jonker Street night market can be very lively and loud, the hotel's street itself is remarkably quiet, and it's still very close to all the sights. Right opposite the hotel is an ancestral hall, and there's even a Peranakan museum on the same street. Communication was a breeze as a lady at the front desk spoke Chinese. They have an elevator, which was a pleasant surprise as I initially thought there wasn't one and was ready to haul my luggage up myself! The hotel's decor and furnishings strongly resemble a Peranakan museum. It was quite amusing because I had just visited a Peranakan museum in Penang the day before, and then found myself essentially staying in one the very next day! A buffet breakfast is provided. While the selection isn't vast, everything offered was delicious and hit the spot. I highly recommend visiting the Straits Mosque, especially around dusk!

Unique place, walking distance to local food! Front desk uncle very cute and friendly even tho i check in late evening! The room is spacious and the amenities are well provided, cleanliness is up to standard. Snack bar provided which makes you feel even like home ! if you happen to drive, they’ve their own private parking which you don’t have to struggle to look for a spot not to forget they have a very cute cat that will “greet” you when you see it at the front of house. Was lucky to enough to be able to try out this amazing place as i always struggle to book for a clean and nice place in Melaka, but i will say if i ever come again, ill stay here again 🤟

Comfortable stay for a family of 9, the living arrangements fits us better than staying in a hotel. Pool table was an added value, allowed us to bond and have quality time. Cleanliness is satisfactory, maybe some attention needed on the grouting and shower glass panel, otherwise all good. Would be great if the unit provide microwave, rice cooker and washing machine, similar to service residences. Providing rice cooker does not equate to heavy cooking, especially for a short-term visit. Overall a delightful stay 👍🏻👍🏻

Very clean house and great hospitality from the owner, complete equipment for the whole family to use. It is new house and the furniture are all new and modern as what it shown in the photos. Location not too near or too far from town area.

Repeated guest. Value for money. Great location. Just this time we experience below: 1. Aircond not cold enough and make noises 2. Weird noises from bathroom. We thought we did not properly flush or there is leaking tap. Apparently the sound came from water from other guest room. 3. The wall quite thin. We can hear noises.

We had absolutely amazing tima to stay here.The rooms was clean and comfortable.. great location. The staff ate incredible friendly.. The poolside is spacious and was beautiful with confey sunbeds and a really nice view of the city..My kids really enjoyed it.. We will definitely come again;) Thanks

Very pleased with our 2 nights stay at Atlantis Residence Melaka by Stayrene. Checking in and out was super easy. Parking was a breeze. The 1 bedroom apartment was spotless. They provided clean hotel quality beddings and towels. The beds and pillows were super comfortable too. The tap had drinking water and they even provided an umbrella, which was most thoughtful. The management team was very courteous and efficient. The Rm 200 deposit was refunded promptly after 24 hours. Will return for future stays!
