Augusta Hotel Motel

Terrible customer service that doesn’t not appreciate their customers. The French manager was rude and abusive in his language towards our group, not happy!! Was disparaging and disrespectful, we have been her other times before and never had this issue. Very very disappointing

Been in 3 nights, Thursday, Friday and Saturday, excellent friendly service, good food, great drinks, lovely views ………………………..,..,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

Stayed for one night in Room 8 (Queen room overlooking the river). Small room with basic facilities, clean and tidy. The room seemed to have had a freshen up fairly recently. Good airconditioner in the room. Bed was a little firm for my liking. Had a lovely view of the river but the windows were quite dirty. Good water pressure, plenty of soap provided but no shampoo so take your own. Ate in the restaurant, nice pub style meals. Beer garden has fantastic views of the river and ocean. Reception was friendly. Good spot for an overnight stay. Parking at your door. Breakfast options a short walk up the street.

If White chipboard furniture is your thing, this is the place for you. The motel rooms are in desperate need for refurbishment The bar was hectic doing a brisk trade Bedding fresh and clean but beyond that not much to say. Reception staff were pleasant Very bust bank holiday weekend

The hotel was first established in 1912. Located in the centre of town, overlooking the Blackwood river. We had a queen bed in a room overlooking the river. It had recently been repainted and had new carpet and a new timber floor. The room wasn't air-conditioned, but had a new wall mounted convection heater, an electric fan heater and a pedestal fan. Parking was available close to our room. Lunch and dinner were available in the hotel.

Another week was spent in the self contained units below the Pub and we were not let down by the magical views and atmosphere of the place as there were few people there and that means no screaming kids or crowds. Units are old but well kept and service from those who bring you fresh towels every day was very good and they cant do enough for you. Not for those who want it all but for those who want to get away and can live with the basics then this is the place.
