The hotel is close to the autobahn (a few hundred metres) so convenient in that respect, but the area is modern business premises on the edge of town. A bus into town is easy (100metres walk each end, inexpensive, frequent). The hotel is large, modern, multifloored. There is a small bar in the hotel, but a larger bar is in the directly connected (but independent) Italian restaurant next door. The food and service in the restaurant was good. The service in the hotel was good, and the rooms were modern, clean and adequate. My only (minor) criticism was that the duvets were on the thin side for anyone who sleeps with a window open out of summer. Car parking in the basement was very convenient. Probably stay there again.

Ich fange mit dem Zimmer an: es ist recht klein mit einem Mini-Tisch. Wenig Abstellmöglichkeiten. Dafür großer Fernseher, geräumiges Bad. Gute Schallisolierung. Man muss Glück haben, wenn man vor dem Hotel einen der öffentlichen Parkplätze ergattern kann. Diese sind am Wochenende kostenlos. Parken in der Tiefgarage kostet zwölf Euro pro Nacht. Die Zimmerreinigung war tadellos. Die Klimaanlage macht was sie soll, wenn auch unter erheblichem Geräuschpegel. Die Mitarbeiter sind freundlich, das Frühstück ist korrekt. Allerdings waren wir so ziemlich die einzigen, die die Einweghandschuhe am Frühstücksbuffet benutzt haben. Wäre vielleicht es sinnvoll, wenn das Personal die Gäste drauf hinweisen würde, dass diese zu benutzen sind. Das große Hinweisplakat wird schlicht ignoriert.

Ich möchte mich hiermit beschweren über den katastrophalen Aufenthalt im Hotel Novum Ruf in Pforzheim. Ich bin absolut enttäuscht von der Qualität Ihres Hotels und dem, was uns als Zimmer zugewiesen wurde. Ich habe vorab im Internet gebucht und sah Bilder von einem wunderschönen Zimmer, doch als wir das Zimmer betraten, waren wir geschockt. Das Zimmer entsprach überhaupt nicht den Bildern, die wir gesehen hatten. Es war schmutzig (es waren Spinnenweben deutlich sichtbar) und hatte ein ganz anderes Aussehen als auf den Bildern. Als ich das Personal darauf aufmerksam machte, wurde uns nur gesagt, dass es normal sei und dass wir uns nicht beschweren sollten. Doch das war noch nicht alles. Das gesamte Hotel roch nach Urin und ähnlichem. Sowohl die Rezeption als auch das Treppenhaus waren unerträglich. Es war unhygienisch und eine Zumutung, in solch einer Umgebung zu übernachten. Ich kann dieses Hotel niemandem empfehlen und bin wirklich enttäuscht von unserem Aufenthalt. Als junger Mensch war es besonders frustrierend, dass das Personal versuchte, uns zu erzählen, dass es normal sei, in solchen Verhältnissen zu übernachten. Ich hoffe, dass Sie in Zukunft etwas gegen diese Zustände unternehmen werden und Ihre Gäste besser behandeln werden.

Nous avons passé un séjour très agréable dans cet hôtel. Le dîner sur fond des notes du piano était top, tout comme le repas La piscine est un plus, grande avec une belle vue. Je ne vais pas mettre 5 étoiles car notre chambre était très spacieuse mais un peu vieillotte. Les oreillers étaient trop mous et vraiment pas confortables Mais globalement nous avons passé un chouette séjour
