Puri Bagus Resort in Lovina is heavenly. Everything from the lovely, detached villa, to the infinity pool is delightful. We stayed a week enjoying the beach, pool, sunsets, spa treatments, cultural show, food and beverage, and surroundings. The Deluxe Ocean Villa is a stone's throw from the beach and is very spacious with a huge main room, ocean view patio, large bathroom and showers both inside and outdoors (in a secluded space off the bathroom). Spa treatment is excellent and very affordable. The outdoor, yet private, spa treatment setting is spectacular with a close-up beach view, and beautiful pools of water and fountains around you. Yoga class can be arranged with the resort's very talented instructor, also director of the spa. Yoga takes place in a special building with glass doors opening onto the beautifully landscaped resort grounds and Bali Sea. Breakfast by the pool is a treat and features all you can eat hot and cold specialties from a buffet. Eggs and other items made to order. The management and staff are exceptionally friendly, efficient and professional. Customer service is a high priority for this staff. In the surrounding area, we enjoyed nearby waterfalls in the mountains, and hot spring swimming parks, both in the mountains and on the shore. Cooking classes can be found at the resort or within walking distance at Warung Bambu Pemaron. Lovina is a fun town to visit (free shuttle from the resort in the mornings). We stayed at Puri Bagus in 2016 as well and thoroughly enjoyed our visits on both stays. With the south of Bali becoming so much more crowded and noiser, we prefer the peace and tranquility of the north.

The most incredible hotel I’ve ever stayed at. From the moment you arrive this hotel is absolute luxury. The rooms are huge. The welcome gin and petals in the bath are beautiful touches. There’s a brown makeup towel which shows their attention to detail. Breakfast is ab unlimited a la carte with incredible food. This hotel is everything and more. Daily excursions and activities! They even help you get a scooter. I wanted to stay in the infinity pool and jacuzzi forever. My mind was blown by everything at this hotel. I’ll definitely be back.

Tucked away in a quaint village far from the maddening crowds in Canggu et al, this is a retreat to recharge and get away from it all. The property is architecturally interesting and the room is unusually vertical, designed as a treehouse, with a bathtub and open air relaxing area at the top. The infinity pool is surprisingly deep, and there is a natural cascading waterfall right in front of it. Absolutely hidden gem of a place.

Have a great stay here. The hotel is clean, the staffs are friendly; but as Bali is habitats island, so still will have some insects and leaves in the room sometimes. It’s acceptable. Very convenient location. It’s not as crowded as Canggu beach area but not too far from there. Grab only took around 5-10 mins to those spots.

We stayed for 3 nights at the W Hotel Seminyak, located on a long beach. The ocean here was characterised by wind and waves in August, yet adding to the scenic beauty. The hotel did present the fresh, modern, and colorful design typical of W Hotels, reflected in both the exterior and interior decor. The rooms maintain this vibrant style, while the villas, which we finally switched to, offer a more elegant, wooden Balinese aesthetic. The pool area is a highlight, with its colorful design and palm trees creating a relaxing holiday vibe. Beyond, the breakfast was extraordinary, offering a wide range of freshly made dishes. From reception to service and management, we experienced a warm, attentive, and caring atmosphere that truly enhanced our holiday. Overall, the W Seminyak is a highly recommendable choice for a relaxed and enjoyable vacation.

Despite being somewhat hidden down a lane, the staff provides a warm welcome at the entrance and offers a shuttle service to ensure guests arrive comfortably. Service & Amenities: 1. Check-in Experience: The one-on-one reception service during check-in was impeccable, including welcome drinks, energy balls, a kettle, and an eco-friendly bag as welcome gifts. The rooms are bright and immaculately clean, with a strong emphasis on eco-friendliness, evident in items like the eco-paper tissue box and reusable water bottles. 2. Room Facilities: The rooms are compact yet modern, featuring a comfortable wooden soaking tub and DIY cocktail-making facilities, including ice cubes and various mixers. Additionally, the rooms are stocked with sunscreen, aloe vera gel, and hand-ground coffee tools, showcasing the hotel's attention to detail. 3. Entertainment & Activities: The hotel boasts facilities such as an infinity pool, gym, and library, all accessible to guests for free. THE BEST OF THE BEST. Komaneka is pure paradise. I'm 59yrs who has travelled to 35 countries and covered 20 States in the USA, so I have stayed in a lot of hotels. Komaneka at Keramas Beach was amazing. Their attention to detail was faultless. We stayed for 30 days and the quality of service did not slip once throughout our stay. The Komaneka's philosophy is to welcome you in as if you are family, but this is a big understatement. We were treated like Royalty for the whole stay. Every member of staff knew our names as we met them for the first time. All the staff greeted us when passing anywhere on the grounds, from the maintenance, cleaners to the restaurant teams. They worked constantly cleaning, sweeping and pruning all the lush tropical vegetation that surrounds the complex. The villas are perfectly designed, so nobody overlooks you from any angle or direction, giving complete privacy. They are equipped with big walk in showers and separate free standing baths. Big walk in wardrobe/dressing area and large comfortable beds. We had a view of the sea from our bedroom at the front and a view over the rice fields from our private infinity pool at the back. The onsite restaurant had an extensive breakfast and all day dining menu. We also visited 4 outside restaurants within a short walk along the beach to the east. Komaneka is positioned directly on the beach at Keramas. It has volcanic black sand that sparkles like diamonds in the sun and moon light, its totally magical. Komaneka is 45 minutes taxi drive to town of Ubud to the north and 45 minutes to the city of Denpasar. It was a perfectly secluded retreat for me to escape my busy life in the city of London. The spa treatments were excellent with easily to book availability. The warm swimming pool was an impressive 33 mtrs long. The management have pieced together a wonderful respectful team. I truly believe that most top London hotels should send their staff to Komaneka for training. The best of the best. SUKSMA.

Kanishka provided us with the ideal holiday in Bali! It is centrally located in Seminyak. Just walk out the door and there are all the shops, restaurants and facilities. The rooms are beautifully decorated and very clean. Our room came with a private pool. The staff are friendly and helpful. We highly recommend Kanishka!

We spend our honeymoon with Indigo. Thank you for the honeymoon surprise and birthday surprise. They care about their customers. All the staff are very pleasant including in check in counter, handling luggage, restaurant, spa, security guard, cleansing staff. They keep the hotel facilities in good condition, i see the gardener take care the trees and flowers everyday, I am very respect about this. The security measure is excellent with security guard manning in every gate. They do their job well. Hotel just next to the beach, very convenient. Excellent breakfast buffet with freshly made juice select by our own choice. Absolutely more than a 5-star hotel. Thank you!
