Hotel berhampiran Pura Dalem Desa Pakraman Kerta Desa Wanagiri Kauh, Bali

For this price catagory the guest rooms were very well decked out - TV, jug and coffee/tea, fridge, cool furniture, the first place in Bali (been coming to bali for many years) that had a nice duvet on the bed, not too hot just perfect ... shower and bathroom not the largest but all wonderful. rooms on ground floor opening up to inner courtyard pool area, so facilities all epic for price level. Breakfast was included just very simple though. We would recommend to the kitchen to work on their range of menu options and quality of cooking for lunches and dinners, it could be our choices of food so don't wish to judge the whole menu in any way. Other than that can recommend staying here, it's very close to beachfront, definately walkable.. as we travel for quite a while in Bali we are grateful to see accommodation facilities of this quality at affordable prices to work in with our budget.

A group of friends & I just organized a dinner here at Pondok Pitaya last night and it was amazing. The guy who helped orchestrate the dinner was named Darius and he was an amazing help, very giving of his time to answer any questions I had about planning the dinner. We as a group ordered the Babi Guling, and it was amazing. The staff was super friendly and set up a reserved table area near the front of the restaurant so we can have our own space + watch the sunset, as they brought out the Suckling Pig & cut it open right in front of us, as well as created a separate table of everything we need to create the Babi Guling, with rice, veggies, sambal, etc. The food was amazing & the service was awesome – one of my friends literally thanked me for inviting her for what she called a ”celebrity dinner”, because the staff made it feel very special and we felt very cared for. It was an amazing night that we will all remember thanks to the great people and great food here. It doesn't hurt that Balian Beach is such an amazing, quiet place, too :)

Спокойный отель. Рекомендую останавливаться на день-два для отдыха вдали от суеты. На территории находится два домика и кухонная зона с возможностью приготовить пищу. Доброжелательный хозяин, ежедневно привозил завтраки.Спасибо!

We looked forward so much to come here, booked already earlier, but had to cancel because of corona. First the good things: Loved the area, it is very easy to go around by yourself and go to Jatiluwih riceterraces, Batukaru temple, visit local warungs. Our room was the suite room, with A/c, jacuzzi, nice views, own private terrace and was very clean, smoothie bowl at breakfast was really yummy! Then some minor points, on arrival we noticed already the place lacked a bit of love, dead plants, ponds without the usual lotus flowers, could really use a fresh up. First evening the food was really not good, spaghetti with just a bit of meat, very few sauce...the second dinner was better. We didn't feel the Balinese love we usually feel, also not from all the staff members, a few were helpful though....Found the price for scooter rental high, and also the price for an extra bed is steep. We like to sleep seperately, but the extra bed was overpriced (no extra breakfast needed) and not comfortable. Next morning I asked for a mattress on the ground, which was not possible, which surprised me with so many empty rooms... Overal not a bad experience, but just mixed feelings.

Il faut être pragmatique car il n’y a pas beaucoup d’hôtels se situant au point de départ des randonnées au milieu des rizières à Jatiluwih donc si on veut admirer le lever du soleil et partir très tôt s’y promener, on n’a guère le choix, les beaux hôtels se situant à plusieurs kilomètres. Le Adhi jaya Suite est bon marché (17€ la nuit) et donc il ne faut pas s’attendre à un palace. Cependant il y a certaines obligations notamment la propreté qui y fait défaut (le lavabo sale, la serviette de toilette tachée) et la quiétude pour y dormir. On passe sur les motos, les chiens qui hurlent et les coqs qui réveillent à toute heure de la nuit et les autres clients qui discutent à l’aube sur la terrasse commune (en fait c’est annoncé comme chambre avec terrasse mais il s’agit d’une galerie où tout le monde passe et repasse) mais que le personnel soit bruyant, là c’est peut-être trop. Après avoir changé deux fois de chambre : la 1re fois car le gérant souhait réunir une famille dans 2 chambres contiguë, la 2e fois à ma demande car la wifi ne fonctionnait pas (mais il m’a dit que je pouvais la capter en sortant de la chambre !), insistant j’ai eu la chambre se trouvant à 2 m de la réception d’où l’on captait parfaitement la wifi. De ce fait les jeunes gérants l’hôtel venaient le soir jouer avec leurs smartphones, parlant fort, rigolant, etc. J’ai dû le soir me rhabiller et sortir pour demander qu’ils se taisent. La 1re nuit j’ai dormi 3h30 et la 2e 4 h. A cela s’ajoute : pas de petit-déjeuner, pas de brosse à dent, ni de séchoir à cheveux, pas d’eau chaude au lavabo, etc… bref je suis restée 2 nuits – mon conseil = une nuit pas plus ou ailleurs.

I had such a restorative stay at Amarta and hope to be able to return there again some day. I stayed in an Ocean Jacuzzi Suite which are located above the restaurant. I loved being able to lounge around on the veranda. There was a very comfortable day bed and the jacuzzi. The Jacuzzi functions more as a small pool as there isn't enough hot water to fill it. It takes over an hour to fill so I was happy to leave it full over a few days. One thing to note for these rooms is that at night, the silhouette of people showering is visible through the frosted glass from people below. I didn't leave the resort for the 5 nights I stayed there and enjoyed the food from the restaurant for meals either in the restaurant or in my room. The breakfasts were very generous and delicious. I enjoyed a massage at the spa. The sunsets each night are stunning.

We rented the double bungalows just for one night. The location to get away from the busy areas was great. It's just a simple, non-touristy village, rice fields and easy access to an empty beach. Because that beach is less touristy it also means the beach doesn't get much clean up. There was a solid swell hitting the beach, closing out on the day I was there but on the right swell direction it could offer a decent quiet surf. Not much else to do there within walking distance. The bungalows and private pool and lounge area was impressive and great value for the $. The service was good and the food menu simple but fine. We walked up the beach to a larger resort for two of our three meals. Would I go back there? Yeah I would.
