Here's a detailed review of my stay: Location & Transportation: The hotel's location is strategic, with easy walking access to the bustling commercial street, offering a plethora of dining and shopping options. Despite being somewhat hidden down a lane, the staff provides a warm welcome at the entrance and offers a shuttle service to ensure guests arrive comfortably. Service & Amenities: 1. Check-in Experience: The one-on-one reception service during check-in was impeccable, including welcome drinks, energy balls, a kettle, and an eco-friendly bag as welcome gifts. The rooms are bright and immaculately clean, with a strong emphasis on eco-friendliness, evident in items like the eco-paper tissue box and reusable water bottles. 2. Room Facilities: The rooms are compact yet modern, featuring a comfortable wooden soaking tub and DIY cocktail-making facilities, including ice cubes and various mixers. Additionally, the rooms are stocked with sunscreen, aloe vera gel, and hand-ground coffee tools, showcasing the hotel's attention to detail. 3. Entertainment & Activities: The hotel boasts facilities such as an infinity pool, gym, and library, all accessible to guests for free. Regular events like music festivals and yoga sessions further enrich the stay. Dining & Cuisine: The hotel houses multiple restaurants offering a variety of cuisines, including Indonesian, Italian, and Western dishes. Breakfast is served in a à la carte style, with an extensive selection of dishes and beverages, including smoothies and yogurt bowls. The Beach Club is also a fantastic spot to enjoy food and views. Unique Selling Points: 1. Eco-friendly Focus: As Bali's only ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) hotel, Potato Head provides guests with additional emotional value through its commitment to sustainability. 2. Instagrammable Spots: The hotel is filled with art installations and ESG displays, making it a popular destination for social media influencers. 3. Youthful Atmosphere: Primarily catering to young, affluent travelers, the hotel radiates a vibrant energy perfect for unwinding and relaxing. Great value for money with everything we needed for a weeks stay whilst working & enjoying the sun! Highlights: - spacious room conducive to working - staff were amazing. In particular chef Ferri Andre in the Backstage restaurant (sorry, unsure on spelling). He was amazing in providing vegan options for breakfast every single day ensuring we got everything we wanted whilst personally coming to see us and delivering the food. - Julio the Marriott Vacation club employee was extremely helpful and arranged our complimentary spa treatment. - Great spa with enjoyable holistic massage for 60 minutes - Lap pool was a nice amenity as well as a great gym - Shuttle to Bali Collection (shops) & the beach was convenient. Areas of improvement: - Main pool was occasionally too loud. When they had the large speaker on, this could be heard across the resort and was overpowering. When at the other pools, there was then 2 sources of music that could be heard which was not ideal. - Our room was described as a 'Sea view' which as you will be able to see from the picture is a real stretch... - Even though the chefs were super helpful, it isn't great for vegans. Animal products in most items that you wouldn't expect (bread/pasta etc). Seemed a bit unnecessary. - Renaissance's beach is not great. I would highly recommend going to 'Canna Bali' instead.

Really good experience in my 3days trip. I propose to my girlfriend in the Jimbaran Garden. It's is a beautiful experience. Thanks Noor for helping aligning for the whloe team Suta and Surya help me a lot for provding the surprise to my girlfriend. They help prepare the decoration, help hiding the flower and help filming our wonderful moments. I got a really great experience in this trip:)

Kanishka provided us with the ideal holiday in Bali! It is centrally located in Seminyak. Just walk out the door and there are all the shops, restaurants and facilities. The rooms are beautifully decorated and very clean. Our room came with a private pool. The staff are friendly and helpful. We highly recommend Kanishka!

Resort ini adalah resort yang sangat indah, dijaga dengan baik, sangat bersih, persekitaran yang indah, lokasi yang sempurna, perkhidmatan yang hebat, kakitangan yang mesra dan hebat, sangat bertimbang rasa dengan permintaan kami, mesra kanak-kanak, spa yang indah, kolam renang yang cantik, sarapan yang mewah.. Pasti akan datang balik..!

Sebuah hotel yang hebat. Bilik ini agak baru dan sangat luas. Saya menempah bilik berkembar dengan pemandangan taman, tetapi secara tidak disangka-sangka ditugaskan ke tepi dengan pemandangan laut. Hotel ini juga mempunyai banyak ciri mesra keluarga, termasuk meja pool, kolam renang dan gelongsor air yang sangat disukai oleh kanak-kanak. Kelab Kanak-kanak boleh menjaga kanak-kanak Kami menghantar kanak-kanak di sana selama lebih daripada satu jam dan mengambil kelas kraftangan juga dengan mereka. Hotel ini juga boleh menyewa basikal dan menunggang di sepanjang tepi laut, yang sangat sejuk. Lain kali saya pergi ke Bali, saya mahu tinggal beberapa hari lagi!

Just back from our wonderful stay. This was our first visit for me, my husband and our kids aged 8 and 10. Everyone was wonderful, accommodating and kind. We all felt at home and their service really made our holiday. Special mention must go to Smiley and Alit. They are both such amazing people - they were an endless source of entertainment to my kids, especially playing football with my son. They seemed to know every guest by first name and nothing was too much trouble for them. The pool is stunning and well maintained, along with the gardens. The breakfast was also fantastic. We were sad to say goodbye and can't wait to come back :) Tip: Try Oil & Vinegar nearby for lunch or dinner - it was incredible.

Interior fit-out nicely done , natural woodwork in combination with the landscaping and the lighting 👌🏼 Excellent service from the associates with great assistance and genuine interest in guests well-being Food experience was great , had the best cheese burger since I can’t remember , great breakfast too The restaurant location is a bit confusing to find , the restaurant aesthetics is a bit bear Guestrooms is very cozy with the natural woodwork and lighting , size of the room is questionable if it os to be considered a 5 star Fitness not available yet Overall splendid Loek van Emmerik

Puri Bagus Resort in Lovina is heavenly. Everything from the lovely, detached villa, to the infinity pool is delightful. We stayed a week enjoying the beach, pool, sunsets, spa treatments, cultural show, food and beverage, and surroundings. The Deluxe Ocean Villa is a stone's throw from the beach and is very spacious with a huge main room, ocean view patio, large bathroom and showers both inside and outdoors (in a secluded space off the bathroom). Spa treatment is excellent and very affordable. The outdoor, yet private, spa treatment setting is spectacular with a close-up beach view, and beautiful pools of water and fountains around you. Yoga class can be arranged with the resort's very talented instructor, also director of the spa. Yoga takes place in a special building with glass doors opening onto the beautifully landscaped resort grounds and Bali Sea. Breakfast by the pool is a treat and features all you can eat hot and cold specialties from a buffet. Eggs and other items made to order. The management and staff are exceptionally friendly, efficient and professional. Customer service is a high priority for this staff. In the surrounding area, we enjoyed nearby waterfalls in the mountains, and hot spring swimming parks, both in the mountains and on the shore. Cooking classes can be found at the resort or within walking distance at Warung Bambu Pemaron. Lovina is a fun town to visit (free shuttle from the resort in the mornings). We stayed at Puri Bagus in 2016 as well and thoroughly enjoyed our visits on both stays. With the south of Bali becoming so much more crowded and noiser, we prefer the peace and tranquility of the north.

Tucked away in a quaint village far from the maddening crowds in Canggu et al, this is a retreat to recharge and get away from it all. The property is architecturally interesting and the room is unusually vertical, designed as a treehouse, with a bathtub and open air relaxing area at the top. The infinity pool is surprisingly deep, and there is a natural cascading waterfall right in front of it. Absolutely hidden gem of a place.
