really love the moose hotel. the location is perfect exactly in the downtown area and its near iga supermarket and bus stop. the outdoor hot pool is so lovely at the top of the hotel with the view of Banff mountain . there is a laundry coins The staff also really nice :) will coming back for sure

An amazing hotel. Fairmont gold dining room / lounge is impressive. Great 33m indoor pool and fantastic views of the surrounding mountains and Bow river. from the hotel. This is a beautiful, classically styled, expensive and impressive resort. Self Parking is a 3 min walk to the hotel. Take a 10 min bus ride into Banff Ave. Bus tickets for guests are complimentary. Banff is a very picturesque town and well worth a visit. Banff avenue points directly at Cascade mountain for an amazing view every time you walk out to the street.

Toothbrush, you have to request. And receptionist ask me to pick up. But I refused and asked him to send to our room. Waited 15mins so i called again. A bit far from Banff downtown. Room is small. But we only stay for 1 night.

Very happy we chose the Canalta Lodge for our July visit to Banff. We've stayed at a number of Banff hotels in the past and this is the nicest in terms of value for money - not cheap (but nothing in Banff is cheap, even the poor locations) but well appointed rooms, hot buffet breakfast included, and reasonably close to the downtown Banff area. Underground parking is an additional $9. but free street parking is generally available around the block in the neighbourhood. We plan to return again in the future for our next hiking trip in the park.

We had an amazing stay at the Red Carpet Inn for one night. It was located at a very convenient place. Also, the hot tub was very nice after a long day of touring in Banff.
