If I could give an infinity rating, I absolutely would. It was a beautiful and very clean stay. The hotel is quite new, and the environment is extremely peaceful. The garden is also very beautiful and well maintained. The classic design made me feel like I had gone back in time. But what truly stood out was the owner and his family—they were incredibly kind, friendly, and helpful. Even before I arrived, I asked many questions about Chengdu, and he was willing to call me in Malaysia just to explain everything. He also made sure I had a driver and affordable, safe transportation for my trips. He even personally offered to bring us to the national park, halal restaurants, the mosque, and shopping places in Nanping Town, all at a very reasonable price. I was traveling with a baby who is around the same age as Alan’s child. Alan’s parents and family treated my baby so kindly, and they even prepared baby food for my child. Since we are Muslim, they did their best to provide halal food for us. Alan was truly kind and always willing to help with anything. I am very grateful to the hotel owner.

There isn’t a photo in this world that would do the view here justice. The trip via Didi was around 90 mins door to door from Huanglongjiuzhai Railway Station. Cost varied between 250-320 Yuan in June ‘26. The host is very helpful organising pick up / drop offs, whilst we used Didi to transfer from the railway station it’s worth checking in with the hotel to see what alternatives there are. The views from the rooms are magical. It doesn’t matter the weather or the season, the ever changing view is always just a moment away from showing you something spectacular. Here there is no good or bad weather. The host is very helpful, he organised transfers to and from the scenic area on demand. The chef made us breakfast to go for the morning and the manager was truly hospitable, above and beyond anything I expected from a small guesthouse. The entire team made our honeymoon trip very memorable. Whilst very little English is spoken in these parts, it should not deter you from coming. The people are patient and helpful, transport is seamless and Didi’s are regular. Everyone is very used to having to use WeChat to talk to foreigners. The hotel is about a half an hour drive from the main entrance to the park. Once inside Jiuzhaigou pay the extra money to take the VIP tour experience to avoid the crowds. Jump off at the last stop to explore the park on foot with whatever time is left before closing if you like. Food is quite limited, so grab some dinner at the town before heading back up into the mountain. This place is breathtaking in my opinion. An unforgettable stay in the mountains I would absolutely love to come back to someday.

Beautiful setting and surrounding environment with open fields, wild horses and cows and neighbors. The hotel also has a very cuddly and cute house cat. The rooms are spacious, well-furnished and very comfortable. The morning breakfast is delicious with a nice variety. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. The hotel restaurant is very good, but could a little more variety as small plates and a few western options. Overall: Very nice property. Beautiful location. Highly recommend.

A super pretty hotel with beautiful design and great vibes throughout the property and the rooms. The surrounding scenery is stunning. It’s very convenient that the hotel provides a Mercedes van shuttle service to Jiuzhaigou National Park. The breakfast offers a variety of options and tastes great. I stayed at the end of autumn, close to the winter season, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. I will definitely return and highly recommend this hotel to everyone! 🥰✨

We had a wonderful stay at Bijiaxiaozhu. The location was very good —within walking distance to food and attractions. Our room was spacious, clean, no smoke smell. The staff went out of their way to be accommodating and organised transport for us to the JZG national park. They also helped us to organise transport from the park to the train station. We especially enjoyed the traditional complimentary breakfast, they provided many different foods. Highly recommend to anyone visiting the area!

Beautiful Hotel and Excellent Service in Jiuzhaigou I had a wonderful New Year holiday at Hotel Indigo Jiuzhai By IHG. The hotel is located about 10–12 km from Jiuzhaigou Scenic Area, just a 15–20 minute drive by car. The hotel offers a cozy atmosphere, elegant interiors with strong ******* cultural elements, and a pleasant light fragrance. Breakfast was plentiful with many options. I tried some traditional ******* dishes, and they were absolutely delicious. The hotel also provides professional photography services to capture beautiful moments. What impressed me most was the staff—extremely enthusiastic, friendly, and attentive, even though most of them don’t speak English. Before leaving, I received great assistance from a staff member named Bunny Wu, who helped me book transportation from the hotel to Huanglong High-Speed Railway Station. Thanks to Bunny, I saved a significant amount of money. I truly enjoyed my stay and felt very happy throughout my holiday. This is definitely a destination worth experiencing when visiting Jiuzhaigou!

A beautiful hotel with great staff, just steps away from Jiuzhaigou. The receptionist, Xiao Zhu, was exceptionally kind and caring, always checking on us, giving great advice, helping with everything, and even booking a taxi for us. We truly felt extremely well taken care of! The room was amazing, really comfortable with a stunning view, perfectly equipped with everything we needed. The traditional decor is elegant and full of charm, and the breakfast was delicious. Highly recommended!

Jiuzhaigou is a popular tourist destination, so hotels nearby are understandably expensive—especially during holidays. For that reason, I chose to stay a bit farther away, in a hostel instead of a hotel. This hostel recently reopened in 2025, which was one of the reasons I decided to give it a try. While the amenities are new, I noticed that cleanliness could use some improvement. There was visible dust in several corners and hard-to-reach areas, which gave the place a slightly unkempt feel. The bathroom, although newly fitted, also had minor drainage issues—the shower tended to clog a little, possibly due to accumulated hair. The hostel provides a laundry room, which I initially planned to use, but I didn’t feel entirely comfortable with the environment after entering, so I decided not to. They also offer a simple breakfast for an additional fee (around 15 CNY, if I remember correctly). It’s a nice option for travelers who want to grab a quick bite before heading out for hiking or sightseeing in Jiuzhaigou. I noticed that many reviews mentioned the owner as very welcoming and friendly. However, since I arrived late after visiting the Jiuzhaigou scenic area, I didn’t have much interaction with the owner myself. The next morning, I left early for my next destination in Huanglong, so my stay was quite brief. That said, I didn’t experience any discomfort or issues with the service—overall, everything felt perfectly fine. While I don’t expect hostel standards to match those of a hotel, I do believe that cleanliness is the foundation of a good stay. If this aspect improves, I think this place would definitely be worth booking.

This hotel is in a very convenient location, only about 1 kilometre from the Jiuzhaigou National Park entrance. It is also in the town centre, surrounded by restaurants and convenience stores, which makes travelling and finding meals very easy. I visited with a group of ten friends, booking five rooms in total. The positive points are the clean rooms, fresh bed linens, and well-maintained bathrooms. There were no unpleasant odours, and the staff was willing to provide extra towels upon request. However, there are a few areas that could be improved. The towels provided are disposable and very thin, making it difficult to dry off properly. We had to ask for additional towels to be comfortable. Another issue is that the room doors do not block noise very well. Sounds from the hallway, such as footsteps or conversations, can be heard clearly inside the rooms, which occasionally made it a bit hard to rest fully. Despite these minor inconveniences, the overall experience was positive. The hotel’s cleanliness, convenient location, and accessibility make it a great choice for travellers who plan to explore Jiuzhaigou. If the hotel improves the quality of the towels and invests in better sound insulation for the rooms, staying here would be even more enjoyable.

The first glimpse I stepped in at this hotel impressed me, the location is very close to Jiuzhaigou entrance, and there are many restaurants and groceries nearby, absolutely convenient. Also, the room when i saw at first was relatively clean. However, things started to get worse, the bathroom, if looked closer, there were no towels provided for feet nor hands, which means after you finished taking a shower, the floor is gonna get wet all over the places, the amenities were so-so, the flush and the shower were loose, they needed to be fixed properly. Moreover, they hanged the hair dryer bag without any hair dryer in it, what for? The room was okay, not fantastic but not terrible. In the morning, i have to get up so early because of the cars and buses pushing horns to each other, i don’t understand why many people here doing this. To me this is rude and harms others while they are sleeping. The internet here is amazing at the first night, very quick and effective, but on the second day it was a dead lack. Overalls, a budget hotel that surrounded by many convenience stores and restaurants, close to Jiuzhaigou, but also comes with noise-pollution. The interiors were not as good as in the pictures, will find another hotel instead.
