Strasbourg at Christmas is a great place to visit, and Hotel Mercure Strasbourg Centre Petite France was a great place to stay. Clean, very comfortable rooms, with superb staff who made sure we were welcomed and cared for. Breakfast was absolutely excellent and really set us up for a day of exploring this beautiful city, and the hotel’s location just a short walk from the railway station and then a lovely amble through the lanes to the city centre and its gorgeous Christmas markets was perfect. I definitely would wish to stay here again 👍

hotel was great! room is big enough to open two lugagges. shower was great, heated but the shower head doesnt stay in place, so you can only hold onto it while bathing. otherwise, use the rain shower. the shampoo and conditioner is quite drying and doesnt work well if you come from a more humid country. byo? theres a small supermarket nearby and area is quite walkable to the main tourist attractions. a mall nearby as well but didnt check that out. bedroom amenities are provided upon request. even though the ac didnt work at first but serviceman came by quickly to rectify. bed was comfy. tv casting doesnt work if youre looking to watch some shows. good stay though.

I stayed for one night. The main things for me were the location near the center and the availability of breakfast. Both of these points were in this hotel, so I liked everything. The breakfast was variated, the dining area was large and comfortable, and there were no queues or crowds. The reception staff were very pleasant. The only small inconvenience were the room itself — there was no towel hook in the bathroom, and the room was quite small, but in my case this was not a problem. This hotel is located inside a shopping mall with a supermarket and cafes...;thus, very convenient. There is a water system for guests to refill their bottles with cold filtered water which is a fantastic feature! There is an affordable bicycle rental nearby as well which is great for a short bike trip. The breakfast was good on the first day but the same exact items were served every single day. The chef can be slightly more creative and change an item or two. For example, instead of falafels everyday, maybe potatoes. There were lots of people working but still the peanut jars, honey jars and food plates were often empty with guests asking for refills. Except for the breakfast, everything was good at this Novotel. PS. Air-Con in rooms and hotel were excellent.

This is a difficult hotel to review. The rooms we originally booked did not match the rooms that we were allocated. I understand that the hotel is an old building with a variety of styles of rooms, but the advertising is very misleading. With the help of the wonderful gentleman at the front desk, Noam(?), we shared our complaint and were given different rooms that were much better. Noam went above and beyond to make us feel accommodated and welcome throughout our stay. One thing to note is that the property doesn’t have USB charging points, so you will need an adapter. Finally, we did have a fire alarm that was very laissez faire (I ran down the WOODEN fire escape stairs in my socks to find the hotel staff (an older gentleman) not really doing a lot - and not really explaining what was going on) and the fire escape had A LOT of cleaning supplies and furniture that in a real situation would have cost lives - I do think this is something the property needs to rectify immediately.

My stay at the Hilton Strasbourg was overall very pleasant. The location is convenient, close to the European Parliament and with tram access to the city center. The room was clean and comfortable, though a little dated in style. Staff were polite and helpful, and the breakfast had a good variety. A solid choice for a short stay in Strasbourg.

La chambre était superbe ! Le lit etait confortable, tout était très propre et l'accueil superbe aussi ! Je recommande cet hôtel que ce soit pour un long ou court séjour !!
