Firstly, it's too pricey and doesn't really offer good value. It feels very hot even after adjusting the temperature to the lowest setting (19 degrees Celsius being the lowest possible). The room is a bit old, and water flows out from the shower room while showering. The bathroom area is extremely dark. This package cost me around $6K HKD, and I can confidently say it doesn't compare well to other new 5-star hotels in Barcelona. The best thing about W is the bar/restaurant on the 26th floor. The staff is generally rude and impolite, possibly including some of the security staff. The reception staff assisting with check-in are also unfriendly, possibly due to a large number of guests waiting.

I am from Singapore. Was very impressed with the location of the hotel. It has the old castle feel and the roof top pool n good view and the pretty spirals staircase of the hotel to the roof top . The only fault I can find was the bath towels were not very clean. Have feedback to the Mgt and saw the pretty and friendly Manager Ms Monica who is efficient and quick to settle the imperfect and make us have a Happy Stay again . I love the key . Snap shot of the beautify key and the beautiful spiral stairs for your view. Thumbs up for location, service and breakfast. Buffet breakfast reasonably nice . You can even see the Sagrada Familia at the roof top view . Missed out the night scene though. We were too tired shopping at night and forgot to take the night scene .

Rooms are clean and service is good. The location is not far from the beach and there is free bus connecting to the old Town which takes 20-25 minutes. Swimming pool is available as well but unfortunately we did not bring the swimming clothes. In total the hotel deserves the expenses.

This hotel has very good location and is accessible to many great food and shopping places. Enjoyed the view of Sagrada Familia from my room. Awesome hotel for your Barcelona stay.

Stayed for only for one night but the friendly and accommodating staffs made it worthwhile. The room is a getting old and the LED TV is quite small but the bed is very comfortable. Breakfast selection is good. The location is also good. There is a shopping centre opposite the hotel. Overall I will stay again in this hotel.

早餐多樣豐富好吃，房間提供小點心，咖啡機煮水茶壺，房間不大，外面吵雜，晚上有人在附近喧嘩，因為有隔一天再次入住，飯店重新收取早餐費用前次入住的早餐費用，兩人入住，甚至算成五人，沒有實際查驗付款詳情，明顯有作業疏失，雖然有改進，但這種錯誤對於五星級飯店來說有點離譜。

We had the most wonderful experience at the Mercer Hotel. I'd rate it a 6 if I could as our visit there recalibrated the scale. The location was great. Everything was comfortable and the staff is amazing. I'm sure other reviews discuss the Roman wall, the location and the quality of the rooms. All of which were great. We couldn't believe the service by the staff, including concierge Mauro who recommended and made reservations for us at a wonderful restaurant about 1/2 mile away from the hotel (Sagardi), then, rather than giving us directions, walked us to the restaurant and introduced us to the proprietor. Wonderful Charcoal Grilled Steaks and Fish and the friendly Spanish hospitality we received throughout the country. The hotel is on a narrow street that doesn't have car access, but the staff helped us with luggage and taxis and it was all seamless. Breakfast was included in our booking and it was very good in a beautiful setting with beautiful china.
