Totally the hotel was good. But some problems. For example the 3 bottle of small water in a suite room which have 4 person not enough and if you request for more they asked for extra payment. The size of bottle very small.

I have travelled far and wide, always staying at hotels and I can hand on heart say this Hotel is the best I have stayed in. From the moment we arrived on 01/08 the welcome was warm, friendly, genuine and we instantly felt at home, including our 3 year old daughter. The Front of House service, was nothing short of exceptional - every enquiry was dealt with efficiently, promptly and with a smile. Facilities first class, we stayed in a Junior Suite to have more space for our 3 yo and we were very impressed. Breakfast, was very healthy we were spoilt for choice with a an array of fresh fruit, juices, cereals, cheeses including a full English if you so desired. What struck me was seeing a standing real honeycomb slab, allowed to slowly drip pure honey into a bowl before. It was delicious and a first for me. Room service and Housekeeping, again excellent. Rooms cleaned to a high standard. Our Housekeeper even placed our daughters cuddly toys in a straight line on her pillow every day. That was a lovely touch. Location was perfect for us. We opted not to stay right in the centre. A huge shopping mall, Diagnol Mar, was a 10 minute walk from us which contained all top (branded) retail outlets, a food court and Supermarket. The beach was around 15 mins walking from the hotel, or 5 mins from the mall. All absolutely ideal. When we wanted the hustle and bustle we just ordered a taxi and we were in the centre within 10 minutes. Barcelona is the best European City I/we have visited. The Hotel Barcelona Condal Mar, is THE BEST hotel we’ve stayed in, bar none. We are already planning our return trip for next year and will definitely be staying here. Highly recommended. When you book, enjoy your stay like we did!

During our August stay, we booked a family accommodation but ended up with two connected rooms instead, as the hotel layout did not allow for true family rooms. When checking in, the staff was inflexible and simply assigned us the rooms available. The first night, the air conditioning in our initial room did not work properly. We requested a room change, and guest services representative Sara was incredibly helpful. She moved us to a larger, cleaner room on a higher floor the next day. While the hotel itself is rather dated and dull in its decor, with an odd use of stainless steel walls, the staff made our stay more pleasant. In addition to Sara, Adrian from guest experience provided great recommendations for local attractions. The on-site dining options are limited, with only a ground-floor restaurant serving below-average breakfast. However, the hotel's location is convenient, with easy access to metro stations and major attractions. Overall, while the hotel itself did not meet our expectations, the attentive service from staff members like Sara and Adrian helped salvage our stay. If revisiting Barcelona, we would likely choose a different accommodation.
