Firstly, please let me thank you staff behind within the reception team as the staff I came across were a credit to your hotel. I had a booking with you for 7 nights from the 10th to 17th September stayed in room 701. Arrived on the Saturday evening at about 21.15hrs checked in, The gentleman behind reception who checked us in was great first thing he said was Mr & Mrs Barrett many congratulations to you both on celebrating your wedding anniversary, that along with the check in went really well and this made us feel special. Up to room Wow !! factor was really impressed however it was like a sauna No problems we can sort it tried to play around with the settings and struggled getting temp down, plus a few sockets in the room was not working. No letter wishing us congratulations Once we unpacked, we decided to have a look around and get our bearings. popped back to reception and mentioned about the Sockets next to bed not working in room and the temperature. the same gentleman said it's not a problem he can sort out the room temperature but sockets will have to wait till the morning, ok great thank you, can we please book the spa for Sunday around 5pm if its free, yes, he said no problems its book for us. that was it. Saturday night in the room was still very hot but we managed and by the morning it was nice and cool. Sunday afternoon there was someone different on so went to collect the key for the spa and towels off we went really excited as this was our anniversary day. Nothing in the spa was working apart from the pool with bubbles, the Steam room and Sauna was not on, went up to Reception asked the team they said it should be but I assured them nothing was on. we were asked to wait around 15 to 20 minutes which will give things time to warm up but we lost the experience by then. Once finished handed key back to Reception and asked if we could book a table in the restaurant tonight we were told this is closed and the bar is closed as well. But on the web site it says open !! so our plans were going side ways instead. I also mentioned again about sockets and was told we will be on it fiorst thing monday. Went up to room and ran the bath as going to have a jacuzzi, this didn't work reported this to the same person in reception, so we got dressed and went out for dinner. Monday going out said to the team we are out now so feel free to fix the sockets and Jacuzzi and will be back later on during the day. We got back quite late and visited a few sites within your city loads of photos, so by the time we got back didn't check nothing as we were really tired. Tuesday morning completely forgot to check to see if things were working as we had a very early start and a long day. came back late evening time and once again completely tired. I've stayed with this hotel for a number of times now, I would think about 7 times also before covid. The company I work for has also sent quite a few others to this hotel over the years. After this last visit I can say that it will probably not be the case anymore. To be honest, I felt like I was annoying the staff at the reception, it was always with a quick, condescending way that I was given answers. Like I was getting on their nerves. I paid almost 1.100 Euro to stay 1 week. In that time, the phone was broke, my door would not shut properly without slamming it, the room STANK !!! of sewage (I was told because of the pool filter or something and I was directly next to the pool basically in room 721 - the cleaning lady spoke no english so that's the info I understood), the breakfast was not to great standards; never was there bacon, the boiled eggs cold. The coffee machine broke, so the waitress was so angry that she was slamming chairs and saying angry stuff in spanish loudly about how management never takes care of the machine; she dropped all kinds of glasses and plates in the kitchen; then the cook came out and looked at me and rolled his eyes and shrugged (how do people in service actually work like this???) . It was unrelaxing and not worth the price at all. The only helpful and sincere person I met there was the girl at the reception who always asked how my day was, and also the room cleaning lady (the elder one with glasses). I was not even offered ANYTHING in response to having to sleep in a stinking room with no phone. I thought maybe someone would say to me ”sorry about all the inconvenience, have a wine on us” but not even that!! Only the next day I was asked if I wanted to move (I declined only because I was traveling to Valencia for 3 days on that day and I was told that afterwards it would be fixed so I didn't want to move if it would be fixed. But when I came back, only the phone was fixed - the smell was still there and the door I still had to slam). Also, my credit card was charged for a night on the first day of my stay, even tho my company pre-paid the whole stay in advance and it was confirmed. I had to wait several days before it was booked back to my account. At the checkout I was not asked once how my stay was. I would have otherwise told the guy there directly. But maybe he knew I would say something and chose not to ask anything. He was the most condescending of them all anyway. He never freely said Hello or Good bye. Only interested in himself. Horrible person and not sure how he can work in service! When he reads this he will know who I am, for sure. I did not have a welcoming or pleasant stay there this time and next time I and my company will choose another hotel for this or any other stays. If you feel too secure and think you have enough guests, then think again. Covid isn't gone and one day you will be surprised how quickly guests can leave and go somewhere else. We picked this place because of the location, the value, and the amenities. We arrived and parking was 25 euros/day. Note that the ”city tax” is not included in the booking fee, so if you think you have paid for the room, you will still owe them more money. Next, we arrive in our 5th floor room on an 80 degree day to find--no a/c! Front desk tells us ”no, only heat.” We had specifically looked for a hotel with AC knowing that the weather would be warm this week. No explanation, no compensation, no options. The room was stifling, and if you open the window, an overpowering sewer smell comes in the room. Even so, it was so hot that I could live with the sewer smell in order not to roast all night. So, I asked for a fan, and argued with the front desk ”guy #1” for 30 minutes before he finally agreed to a) speak to a manager tomorrow (no help for me to sleep tonight) and b) to get me a fan. He finally agreed to the fan, and I said I would pick it up after dinner. Well, return from dinner, and different ”guy #2” who knows nothing about a fan. Have to get assertive again, and he tells me over and over that there is nothing he can do. I tell him he literally has to do something, and ----voila! He gets a fan. A customer should not have to get irate in order to have these things happen. He could have helped us from the beginning, but he just didn't want to. A customer shouldn't have to be unpleasant in order to get the establishment to make a reasonable accommodation. Even so, even with the fan--it's very hot in here, and I am smelling sewer from outside. What a mess. Now, the safe--there is an in-room safe, but it is a keyed safe, and there is no key. So helpful! This is really a poor value, and I would stay away.

The location was excellent and I felt very safe when out for a run in the early morning. The staff were friendly and helpful. We took advantage of the hotel breakfast and it was perfectly acceptable -- nothing spectacular but no problems either. The shower in particular was a problem in that it drained poorly, was very slippery when wet (see: drained poorly), and caused a lot of flooding on the floor of the main bathroom, which increased the slippery danger. The beds were comfortable and I appreciated the staff leaving an extra pillow in the armoire if we wanted it.

The room is much better than how it looks in the photos provided by the hotel. It's quite small but clean and tidy. The best thing about this hotel is that the location is prefect, very close to metro station and the beach. Overall, I would say the whole stay is a great deal.

Great staff and service. We were upgraded because they was a mistake in our booking. Cool 2nd floor rooftop. Gets noisy on the weekends so if you are looking for quiet, ask for a room higher than the second floor and not above the rooftop. We did have ants in our room attracted by food we had in the room so just don't keep food outside, even packed. Leave everything in the fridge. The staff resolved the issue quickly. Breakfast options are so so. Probably not worth it when you have very nice coffee shops next to the hotel. The room seems a bit dated, especially the shower.
