Was soll man sagen? Die Zimmer waren gut und bequem 🙋‍♀️. Der Empfang etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig 🥴 Das Frühstück sehr schlecht 🤮. Es wird mit Nachhaltigkeit geworben und man hat abgepackte Sachen bekommen. Das Personal kam nicht dazu ordentlich nachzulegen. Keine Becher, Messer , Eier…. Immer musste man nachfragen. Das Ei war dazu flüssig 🤮 142 Anmeldungen bei 42 Sitzplätzen. 🧐🧐🧐 Da ist jede Jugendherberge oder eine Pension besser bestückt. Wie kann man sich nur Hotel mit angeblichen ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ nennen. Dazu über 400 Euro für 3 Personen 🥲 Viel zu teuer für schlechten Service.🥲

We can recommend this hotel because of the convenient location in Dreilinden next to the motorway from Potsdam to Berlin and the 24 hour reception. This Ibis hotel is opposite the B&B hotel in Dreilinden. Parking is 3 euro's per day. Next to the hotel there is a gas station and an Mac Donalds. Our room on the ground floor was basic and some furniture was damaged. It was very quiet though and the beds were good. Checkin was easy and quick. That was what we were looking for. The hotel is about 15 minutes from the west part of Berlin.

Pet- and tourist-unfriendly place. My latest experience very much resembled extortion. I was charged 100 euro for dog’s fur on the bedsheets and 150 euro for dog’s fur on the floor (the hotel representative had to put quite an effort into scraping some with her shoe) and an approx 0,5 mm brown-ish spot on the carpet which they claimed to be “blood” (considering that there was an approx 5 cm black stain on the carpet as of my checkin which hotel apparently didn’t see as something of an issue to me as a guest). I used to like this hotel (despite being placed on several occasions in rooms with obvious sewage issues), until I stayed there with my dog. I presented my dog at the reception at the checkin (that is the receptionist saw the dog). Paid 15 eur per day pet fee and proceeded to the room. No additional rules, policies or verbal requests were presented to me. My dog damaged a pouffe which I informed the hotel about at the checkout and happily paid whatever was asked of me (200 eur). In addition to that I was demanded to pay 100 eur for some fur on bedsheets and 150 eur for some fur on the floor as mentioned above. No oficial price list was presented. No explanation why 15 eur a day pet fee wasn’t covering washing blankets and vacuuming floor was provided, all my questions or logical arguments were ignored. The team of hotel representatives generously offered me a 50 eur discount on cleaning (which I didn’t ask for) only confirming that the amounts weren’t based on any actual price list, because if the hotel really suffered a loss of 250 eur why would they “gift” me 50 eur. I considered it to be an extortion and suggested to call the police. When I came back after 15 min the hotel still hadn’t called the police. As I had an urgent matter and had to leave, I paid the hotel whatever its staff demanded. I think what actually happened is the hotel staff had accidentally or recklessly placed us in a no-pet room (as there was a carpet, unlike in some other rooms. I was placed into that room after finding out the one I was initially given smelt of sewage - repeatedly happened before). And instead of charging their staff, they’ve charged me, so that they can do (if they actually do) for some deep cleaning after an animal to make it suitable again for people with allergies. Staff’s rudeness and ill attitude with me as a client weren’t in line with the hospitality filed’s even moderate standards. Most customers might find this hotel pleasant - which it is, until it is no longer.

Selbst das Komfortdoppelzimmer war sehr spartanisch eingerichtet und klein. Wohl fühlt man sich dort nicht. Sehr negativ war aufgrund der schwülwarmen Witterung die fehlende Klimaanlage in einem Zimmer im dritten Stock zur Südseite hin. An viel Schlaf war deshalb, trotz des freundlicherweise von der Rezeption bereitgestellten Ventilators, nicht zu denken. Da das Zimmer zur Südseite (nach hinten raus) gerichtet war, war es sehr ruhig, was leider nur ein schwacher Trost war. Auf das Frühstück wurde verzichtet, das Parken in der zentral gelegenen Tiefgarage kostete 10 Euro/Nacht.

Wir hatten ein großes Zimmer mit großem Bad, voll geeignet für Rollstuhlfahrer.Brauen wir nicht, aber gut zu wissen. Parkplatz vor der Tür und in der Tiefgarage wird positiv vermerkt, andere Hotels nehmen extra Geld fürr einen Parkplatz. Vom Preis her gibt es absolut nichts zu meckern, man kriegt einen ordentlich Gegenwert. Das Restaurant ist relativ überschaubar, die Speisekarte auch, aber das reicht völlig- Interessant die große Getränkeauswahl, die Cocktails und Longdrinks sind sehr preiswert! Es gibt keine kulinattischen Höhenflüge, aber das erwartet man für den Preis auch nicht. Beim Frühstücksbuffet war um 9.00 Uhr das Obst alle, hätte man sicher auffüllen können. Aber außer uns war nur noch 1 Gast da. Wird sicher besser, wenn der Tourismus wieder voll in Fahrt kommt. Fazit: Gern wieder.

Worst hotel I stayed in Germany during my trip. For a EUR 90 per night you get a small, basic room, dirty old black carpets, smell of sewage in the bathroom and from the air conditioning unit so you have to keep the window open all day and night. There is no safe or any other amenities in the room like tea/coffee maker, water or fridge. But for your EUR 90 you will get eco crazy Management ideas like recycled brown toilet paper, paper cups instead of glass, experimental ROOM CLEANING EVERY OTHER DAY and appalling quality of breakfast consisting of 1 choice of ham and cheese, cereal and a few apples and pears. No scramble eggs or bacon or sausages, and the few boiled eggs that they provide disappear very quickly and are not replaced for 1/2 hr. The breakfast room is so small, people are crowded sitting next to each other feeling uncomfortable during COVID. There is only 1 small elevator and you have to wait for ages for it to come. If you need to stay close to the train station in Potsdam, then the hotel is ok for 1 night, as the beds are relatively comfortable but otherwise I recommend you look elsewhere! I stayed in a sister B&B hotel in Poznan, Poland and it was a completely different experience - a beautiful, new, modern hotel with a fantastic breakfast choice for half the price, so I know that it's the management fault that the Potsdam hotel is run so badly.

Das Hotel ist ganz neu und standardmäßig zweckmäßig eingerichtet, wie alle Holiday-Inn-Express-Hotels. Die Zimmer sind recht klein, leider gibt es keinen Platz für Koffer oder um diese auszuräumen (wir waren zu dritt in einem der kleineren Zimmer ohne Küchenzeile). Das Bad ist ausreichend groß und modern, Ablagefläche auch ausreichend. Leider gab es nur keinen Föhn, was ich erst am Morgen gemerkt habe nach dem Duschen. Auf Nachfrage an der Rezeption (Telefonverknüpfung hat nicht funktioniert) sollte ein Föhn umgehend gebracht werden, wurde er aber leider nicht ... Frühstück sehr gut, alles da, was man benötigt, nur zur Hauptfrühstückszeit (wobei die Frühstückszeiten großzügig bis 11.30 sind) war es am Wochenende sehr voll und dafür zu wenig Tische - einige mussten eine Weile warten, bis ein Tisch frei wurde.

An sich war alles in Ordnung. Das einzige was halt sehr schade ist, sind die dreckigen und total verkalkten duschköpfe... Das Klopapier ist zu rau und auch die kissen sind nicht so gemütlich gewesen... Aber am sonsten wars in Ordnung.... Man könnte auch dafür sorgen, dass jeder der im Zimmer ist einen eigenen Schlüssel bekommt, statt dass sich alle ein Schlüssel teilen müssen.

Smallish rooms but ok for the price. We were on the courtside side so nice and quiet - although only a few rooms are on that side and the majority of rooms might be different. Air con is basically useless with zero cooling, coupled with rather stuffy rooms - I wouldn’t want to be there in a heatwave. Wi-Fi is patchy and too often won’t let you log on. Completely unacceptable is the total lack of any hot water for the last 36 hours with no public apology or even acknowledgment from the hotel. ”Strangely” - given the hot water experience - the promised email to leave a review on the hotel site hasn't arrived.

A very affordable option that you should look at if you do not mind the distance. It is right outside of the main city, but it’s clean and safe, there’s a fantastic local pub down the road.
