Hotel berhampiran Brasilianischer Garten, Berlin

I spent five days on a sightseeing trip to Berlin, traveling by train. Arrival was easy; a tram from the main train station takes you to the hotel (ca 150 m to walk). Although the hotel is not on Alexanderplatz, do not mind; it is a short tram ride or a walk there and much calmer. It borders a nice neighborhood, and the architecture is lovely. I liked to take the stairs in the back of the hotel and walk to the subway - a 10-minute walk. The hotel is well-maintained and very clean. You might opt not to request a daily cleanup, which will earn you a voucher for a free drink. Rooms are spacious and bright; a small fridge is in the room, and grocery shops (Rewe, Lidl, and others) are nearby. Windows can be opened, and the AC is working very well. Breakfast can be purchased, but I didn't, so can't stay how it is. The staff was very kind and helpful. The only issue we had was with the doors; we struggled a bit to open them every time, but nothing major, really. The gym is tiny, so I went to one of the many providers in Berlin. Overall, I had a great experience at the hotel and can recommend it.

Hotel fabuloso! Café da manhã fantástico. Próximo a estação do metrô. Perto de mercados e lojas de conveniência. Quarto com bom espaço e bem limpo. Cama confortável . Atendentes super atenciosos. Restaurante do hotel muito bom. Indico para negócios, turismo, viagem com a família. Próximo a pontos turísticos. Super indico ele por aqui na trip!!!

Hotel Opp tram & bus,metro walking distances. Staff is Good & Polite. Hotel Mornings Breakfast is upto the mark. We are enjoying breakfast. Historically places nearby old GDR tv towers, Berlin Wall, malls.

Located in central of Berlin, this is probably the tallest hotel in town. They have a really nice view over the city. Very convenient with metro and all the restaurants and shops around. Rooms are clean but if you live high up, it’s hard to get mobile signal. Wifi doesn’t work so well when a lot of people are using it. One of the biggest issue if you live higher than 20th floor, the elevator won’t stop at your floor for so long. Not sure how the elevators work, you may have to wait 10 mins for getting down to lobby at busy hours (etc lunch/ dinner hour) Check in was easy and quick, and staff is friendly also.

Changed to this hotel due to it's location. It's a few minutes walk from the sub way and 40 minutes walk to Aleksandraplatz

This is a modern functional hotel (which we booked via BA holidays) apparently popular for conferences, so you get the picture. Four of us went for a city break. The hotel is well situated within easy walking distance of Gendarmenmarkt. Spittelmart U-bahn is 2 minutes away. Easy and welcoming check-in. Our rooms were comfortable and spacious. The bathroom had an excellent walk-in shower although the wash basin had the depth of a birdbath. What was surprising was the amount of wasted space in the bedroom with a great void between the bed and the door which could have been used for some proper drawers and shelves. As it was, there was only 1 drawer and 3 shelves, one of which was useful only if you were 2 metres tall (see photo). The wardrobe, if you could call it that, was an open hanging space, but it was situated at right angles to a padded seat (see photo) making accessibility difficult and there was only one chair in the room. Tea-making facilities were available but instant coffee only and powdered milk. We used to take a small jug of milk from breakfast and keep it in the fridge. There was a very good and comprehensive breakfast with just about everything one could want. As a morning tea drinker I cannot comment on the coffee which came from a machine, but there was an excellent selection of leaf teas. The hot food was OK, but nothing cooked to order so that eggs were either warm scrambled or hard boiled. Staff were very helpful and dishes promptly refilled. We didn’t use the restaurant for dinner as the menu looked pretty basic but there are restaurants within walking distance. All in all, nothing special but I would still recommend it for a short stay.

One of the best hotels of our entire Europe trip. The hotel is conveniently situated right outside of the S/U-bahn station, Berlin Friedrichstrasse station. There are two entrances for the hotel and both look very grand, the lobby is nicely decorated and they even prepared tea and a light snack (cake/cookies) for guests while we chill at the lobby. Check-in was pleasant and the hotel staffs were all extremely polite and cheerful, really make our day. We were assigned a room at level 4 with a very nice city view, the room is clean, spacious and it is really contemporary and modern, with a huge mirror for your daily OOTD shots. The breakfast was really great, the spread was huge and it provides a many selections to cater to different needs. I extremely love their pancake making machine which makes fresh pancakes within 30sec. The staffs were attentive to clear off the plates and helpful. Overall, it was a perfect stay and we will definitely visit NH Berlin again!

Overall I like this hotel. However the service by 1 rude receptionist should be improved. check in experience was ruined by lady receptionist. Service at reception The full payment including city taxes have been paid via my credit card upon booking. The payments paid and breakdown including city taxes are stated very clearly on the booking voucher. However despite this, I was asked to pay a deposit of amount close to Euro 600 which was the full amount of my stay that was paid using my credit card. Upon asking, I asked the trainee/Lena why I have to pay so much again when I had paid the full amount via credit card. Lena then checked with the another lady receptionist on the deposit that should be secured. However, this lady receptionist informed us to pay a deposit of euro 50 which I have no issue. However, she rudely informed me that I have to pay city tax. I told her that it has been paid and I showed her the booking voucher which clearly shows that city taxes have been paid. But she informed rudely that the amount was charged in other currency, not Euro. Seriously, when I heard this, I was shocked with the “intelligence” of this lady receptionist. She needs to be educated on what is “foreign currency equivalent” and to have some common sense. I disputed this and insisted that i had paid the full amount including city taxes, which was stated very clearly on the booking voucher. Lena agreed with me and reiterated to this lady receptionist that the booking voucher indeed stated that all payments including city taxes have been paid. Thereafter, the lady receptionist left rudely without any apologies. The receptionists should be trained and their service should be improved. Firstly, they should have checked that I have fully paid and should not secure a a deposit of almost euro 600. Only when I asked, they rechecked, but no apologies. Secondly, even after they rechecked, they did not check clearly that city taxes have been paid and insisted me to pay city taxes. No apologies either when they found out. The service from the lady receptionist (shorter girl with curly hair) was so rude and no apologies even though she was wrong in the first place. I highlighted this issue and feedback to the shiftleader, Andreas Levi and made known to him about the receptionists. He immediately went to check and confirmed that all payments including city taxes have been paid earlier via credit card. Thanks Andreas Levi for checking and making our stay better. Bed Not sure why some beds have comforters/topper while some beds without. The beds with comforters are so comfy! Our bed without comforters. Breakfast For Europe’s standard, I think the breakfast in this hotel is considered good. With few hot food such as overcooked bacon, overcooked sausage, baked bean, and eggs. The omelette is nice (thanks to the chef!) Some selections of bread, lots of choices of good quality teas. Few selections of juices. Coffee machine. Fresh honey comb. Complementary water It is odd that complimentary water is only provided to the guests for the first night despite I stay 3 nights. This is the first time I experience this in Europe. Perhaps guest should make different booking for each night. Proximity to trains and attractions Close proximity to train stations and some main attractions. Summary Overall service was good (except for 1 rude lady receptionist). I will still recommend this hotel. Take the breakfast.

地理位置極其優越，位於柏林的市中心波茨坦廣場，所以安全係數非常高（不像東柏林等地方很亂），一人遊!強推此地;步行保存成功能到柏林愛樂廳，勃蘭登堡門和柏林電影博物館等著名景點。 房間面積超大，40m²起步，推薦景觀大床房，窗户正對主街，風景採光都很好。早餐質量非常不錯!

Over all staying in JW Marriott’s Hotel is amazing. Food choices was superb, I cannot fault them. The hotel are lovely and the staff are amazing, very attentive to your needs.
