Hotel Berlin dengan Spa

Located in central of Berlin, this is probably the tallest hotel in town. They have a really nice view over the city. Very convenient with metro and all the restaurants and shops around. Rooms are clean but if you live high up, it’s hard to get mobile signal. Wifi doesn’t work so well when a lot of people are using it. One of the biggest issue if you live higher than 20th floor, the elevator won’t stop at your floor for so long. Not sure how the elevators work, you may have to wait 10 mins for getting down to lobby at busy hours (etc lunch/ dinner hour) Check in was easy and quick, and staff is friendly also.

Grand Hyatt is nicely located and a well maintained property with pleasant staff. Greta Garbo Suite is lovely as is the Vox Bar with live music. Property has no parking garage but good Valet service. Everything in order and a spacious, comfortable property.

The breakfast was excellent. I drink tea a lot and there were a variety of tea I could choose and I could choose to brew a cup or a pot of tea. They served different kind of eggs, including omelets. The room is very clean and well equipped with coffee maker and kettle.

We were surprised that the breakfast we have booked were not properly recorded in their computer system where the restaurant's (BLEND) staff did not know about it for the 1st & 2nd day of our stay. Other than that little incident, everthing else were good.

The location of Hilton Berlin is fantastic and the exterior of the hotel plus the lobby is very beautiful. Very walkable location with many surrounding dining and sightseeing options. Overall, housekeeping was good. The rooms run fairly small and look dated, so value for money is not that great. Bathroom is clean but not very well-maintained, especially the toilet. The check-in concierge staff were ok but I would expect friendlier and more proactive service for the price we were paying and being a diamond member as well. The staff who was a blonde lady with glasses checked me in and out and was the friendliest staff i encountered during my stay. Rarely did the other staff smile or greet us when we walked past them and they generally did not have great customer service skills, and generally just unfriendly. The front door concierge and door staff were much friendlier and greeted us more than the check-in staff. I also had a very terrible experience with the night security staff when my friend and I came back to the hotel around 6 am after a night out. We walked in and were stopped by a man who was not wearing any uniform, or any attire to signal he was working at the Hilton, and in regular clothes, he was a bit hard to understand because he had a thick accent, and I thought he might be another patron at the hotel or a taxi driver, so I politely smiled at him and said “no thank you” and walked towards the elevator. He got extremely angry, began shouting at me, and said he was a worker there and showed me his keys with a Hilton keychain. He wanted to verify that we had a room key. While we were taking out the key, he was calling me rude and dismissive and that I was a terrible person. It was so jarring because there was no need to be that rude, he was acting like I shooed him away when I’m reality it was a miscommunication. He then went into the back of the concierge to complain about me loudly, didn’t even wait till I was out of earshot. It was hard to identify him as a staff, much less security, and I didn’t need to be scolded like a child. Overall, very unprofessional and made the remainder of my stay feel much more sour. I can look past the dated rooms because I know that is out of the staff’s control at that point of time. But unprofessional and unfriendly staff make the value of my stay and diamond member status much worse.

Stayed here for nearly a week with work. Quite an impressive hotel as it’s massive. The aquadom is undergoing works so couldn’t be seen but imagine it to be very impressive. All staff I encountered were very friendly attending to anything I needed during the stay. Room was a good size with comfy beds although the pillows a little thin. Bathroom equally good with a curious double-use door which separates the toilet and the bathroom. Shower products were good which is a rare find! Shower pressure was acceptable however temperature kept changing by itself which was frustrating. Breakfast had a great offering and was always busy. Plenty of staff serving although sometimes I was offered coffee from the pot, other times I had to get my own. Unsure as what the protocol was! Gym isn’t massive but has a general setup which is useable. Heaviest weight is only 10kg which isn’t too great. Pool looked clean but again is a quite small so 4 people in it and the hard to use. Couldn’t find the sauna unfortunately but never mind. Restaurant HEAT was good but quiet all week. Limited menu for a healthy meal which was a pity. Would absolutely stay here again, which is a rare comment from me! Tripadvisor draft error- actually visit was 2021.

Was much better when it was a Sofitel Hotel a few years ago. Now quite a basicly run hotel. I believe better ones can be found in Berlin for the same price points.

The bed was very comfortable, great pillows! The hotel has a very modern asian vibe. Richard at the front desk was very helpful giving us suggestions on where to go and things to do. Breakfast was included in our stay, the food was wonderful and the service was great. Lots of choices, in a beautiful setting. Check the hours for breakfast because they change on the weekends vs weekdays. We went to the bar one evening for a cocktail, and didn't have the best experience. The bartender was extremely overwhelmed and a bit frazzled. The cocktails were overpriced, and not very good. Overall we had a great experience, and would recommend staying here. Location was pretty good too.

Great location, walkable distances from the Alexander platz station with U+S bahn. It’s also walkable to the Museum island! There are lots of restaurants in the area and even a Sunday food festival in the Alexander centre. Highly recommended!
