Hotel terbaik di Bjarnanes

This hotel had some pluses, and some minuses so here goes. The room was a good size and clean. However, the bathroom was so small that when you took a shower, everything in it got soaked. The sink was so small I could only get one hand under it, which was challenging. Breakfast was very good but gets crowded, so get there early. A few words of warning; the hotel is 2 levels and there is no elevator, so if you are unable to carry your luggage upstairs, this is going to be a challenge for you. Also, as with every other hotel we stayed in in Iceland, it has no blackout curtains so bring an eye cover if you need darkness to sleep. We did not hear any noise during the night despite the hotel being full. Finally, we called in the morning to confirm our room, which was supposed to be one queen and one double bed, however, the room we were given had 3 twin beds. A bit disappointing as the hotel was full so we could not get the room we booked.

Wir waren begeistert, und das ist nicht leicht uns zu begeistern. Wir haben in Island einige Kaschemmen gesehen, aber dieses Hotel hat uns sehr gefallen. Man muss das immer im Vergleich zu anderen Hotels sehen, denn die Hotelpreise in Island sind insgesamt recht hoch. Es liegt am Ufer und nahe des Hafens. Unser Zimmer war geräumig, hell, einfach und geschmackvoll eingerichtet und groß genug für zwei Personen. Das Frühstück war OK. Am Hafen befinden sich nette Restaurants in Laufnähe, wo wir sehr gut gegessen haben. Für einen Stopp auf der Island-Rundreise ist es bestens geeignet.

Had a great stay - spacious, clean room with lots of luggage storage, modern bathroom and an awesome view of a horse pasture outside our window. Quiet room and nice room darkening curtains. Plenty of parking and a nice breakfast included. Recommend this hotel if passing through.

In the small town of Hofn. Very small rooms. No cupbard. Very small sink and shower stall. Comfy beds. Near town amenities with supermarket. No bottled water, slippers, robes, safe etc. Kettle with coffee and tea. Actual keys to rooms vs key cards.

We stayed at the private apartment at the top which has a parking spot on the road behind. A huge amount of space for our family of four. The guest house is right in the center of town, host was very friendly and accommodating. Washer/dryer combo in bathroom with a drying rack. (Plan ahead to let things line dry afterwards) Note that there are few restaurants in the area and they close somewhat early so plan ahead to complete excursions in time. N1 gas station and Netto supermarket are both close by. Would totally recommend as a base for travel and excursions in this area.
