Absolutely gorgeous environment and atmosphere with traditional Japanese styled rooms that confer the most relaxing and peaceful experience during our stay. Our room is equipped with private onsen facing the snowy mountains offering another level of unparalleled tranquility and comfort after a long day of skiiing. Also worth mentioning that the staff at the entire premise are so attentive and caring that they would ask about our needs on amenities and restaurant options - they even gave us a full catalogue of restaurants nearby when we were wondering what to eat at night. Overall, the experience was exceptional and I would highly recommend the stay in this hotel

The hotel is very nice and have Japanese+Western Style. We really like the atmoshere and the owner, Mr.Kashiwabara and his wife are very nice to us. He introduced us many things and also drive us to the train station on the next day. The facilities in house has everything you need. We enjoy the onsen very much and the water is mineral and clean. We hope to go back again. Thank you very much.

The location is very good, a few tens of meters away is a free bus stop, you can go to various ski resorts, the boss is very enthusiastic, can provide the village station shuttle and a lot of help you need, we stayed for three nights, arranged a two-story suite, The toilet kitchen living room is independent, the tatami is upstairs, very warm and warm, next time you choose to go here

从松本移动到白馬，搭乘JR大糸線进站时拍的IC卡，到了白馬出站时不可使用IC卡，不会英语和日语，幸好下榻白馬加拿大山林小屋的老板来接站，用翻译软件帮助与JR站工作人员沟通(原来先付现金，然後再把我卡重置)。 白馬加拿大山林小屋，这座被滑雪場包围的温泉旅館，附近1至5英里有多家高原滑雪場，距有名的八方尾根滑雪场🚠站步行1公里可到(一般老板会免费接送)。一房一厅公寓式厨房用具齐全，房间清洁，工作人员温馨。旅館服务相当贴心，老板只要有空，有求必应，(免费JR白馬站接驳，需提前予约)，我们10月25抵达，八方尾根纜車站免费接驳巴士已停运，但旅館老板很人性化的会免费接送，使游人在旅途中宾至如归。 旅館的温泉要到距离250米处的“白馬樅の木ホテル”泡(提供优惠券¥1000円/人)，源泉放流的庄兵衛の湯，泉质塩化物，泡後非常滑爽。白馬樅の木ホテル和白馬加拿大山林小屋是同一个老板，哪里的餐厅提供(自助餐)早餐和晚餐，很丰盛。如果有需求可請老板提前联系予约，早餐大概¥2000円/人(可优惠¥200/人)；晚餐的价格¥5000/人(可优惠¥500円/人)。这次5晚留宿期间，得到了老板许多帮助，非常难忘的体验，在等待八方尾根八方池的晴天中，愛上了美丽的白馬村！如有缘还会再见，依然选择“加拿大山林小屋”！

Very friendly staff. I was there off season, so there where no more shuttle busses available. Since the hotel is directly near the slopes, there are no direct shops near by. And you have to either walk 20 minutes to the nearest Lawson or take a taxi. I liked the japan-western style room. The owner was so kind to take me to the Hakuba Goryu Snow Resort which is only a short drive around the corner. There is also a Ski Resort just next to the hotel but it was already closed for the season.

Wonderful Stay at Garden Pension Obogurgl We had an excellent experience at Garden Pension Obogurgl. The location is perfect—just a short walk to the Hakuba Goryu lifts, which made getting on the mountain super easy every day. The pension itself is cozy, clean, and peaceful, with a lovely garden that adds to the charm. Our room was warm and comfortable, with plenty of space for ski gear, and the communal areas had a relaxed, homely vibe. The hosts were friendly and welcoming, always happy to help with local tips and transport advice. We especially enjoyed being able to walk everywhere—whether it was to the nearby convenience stores, local restaurants, or just strolling among the beautiful pine trees. The large cherry blossom tree out the front added a special touch to the peaceful surroundings. If you're after a quiet, scenic, and welcoming place to stay in Hakuba Goryu, Garden Pension Obogurgl is a fantastic choice.

We have stayed at this hotel for the past two Decembers. Overall, it is reasonably priced, conveniently located near the ski resorts, and has a bus shuttle stop right in front that runs between the hotel and the ski areas. The onsen is a great bonus, especially after a day of skiing. However, I must say that the breakfast is not as good as last year, and the service has declined slightly compared to our previous stay. The open-air onsen is not as clean as before, and the indoor onsen also shows signs of neglect, with used towels piled in the corner.

Check in counter is in different building - Square 8 : same owner. No bell staff. I have got room on second floor. Carrying luggage incl. ski equipment quite troublesome. Minimal breakfast but high quality ingredients.

What an awesome experience! The hotel offered exemplary service before we even arrived. Due to special travel arrangements, we arrived late and the staff quick to arrange an in-room bento dinner for us before our arrival. When we got there, we were immediately blown away by the gorgeousness of the hotel. Despite its age, everything was very clean and polished. I can see that great care had been taken to upkeep the hotel and it’s premises, which are extraordinarily beautiful. We couldn’t resist taking pictures even after check-out, and it took us an hour to finally reluctantly leave. Words cannot actually do the place justice, you must visit there yourself. We were very impressed with how delicious the food was, and the attention to detail, including the placement of the food, the coordination of food color. My mouth is still watering as I recall how delicious it was. I had 10 helpings of their prime rib one day. Besides, I had a dietary restriction and the staff were really careful with that, to the extent of reminding me what dishes not to eat everyday at their breakfast and dinner buffet. In addition to excellent food and service, the hotel went out of its way to be very eco-friendly. For every day that we did not need our room to be tidied, we earned points, which can be traded in for ice cream or other goodies. Finally, the staff spoke perfect English. This is rare indeed, and it made everything so much easier and so much more enjoyable. Thanks for the experience!

Very welcoming guesthouse owner, the owner family kindly provide me breakfast and shuttle service to bus terminal, which I very appreciate and help my a lot in the snowy conditions. The bedroom I stayed are clean and tidy. The guesthouse comes with cozy bathrooms, small onsen and even a Finnish sauna room, a very comfortable to stay after a ski day.
