"Excellent service! I highly recommend booking dinner here. The breakfast was fantastic, my kids especially loved the soba noodles, and the fruit was delicious too. If you're visiting when there's no snow, you can rent bicycles directly from the hotel. The onsen (hot spring bath) was really good. They also have a very clean laundry room available. And the wine here is excellent!"

"The hotel is a 5-minute walk from Hakuba Happo Station. The hotel has a bus that can be used at any time. The facilities are rated 4.5 points because the refrigerator in the hotel is really noisy. I am considered a deep sleeper, but I was woken up by the refrigerator in the middle of the night. Everything else is good. You can walk to Lawson. Because I went there on November 1st, many stores were closed, but you can foresee how many people there will be during the ski season."

The room was spacious, with two futons already laid out for us and two more stored in the wardrobe, as this room was meant for up to four people. The heater/air conditioning worked well and could be adjusted individually, which was a nice touch. The bathroom was comfortable and included a relaxing bathtub. Overall, a very pleasant and convenient stay."

"This hotel is beyond my imagination. OMG ! The place was so amazing I chose Chalet with my family member 8 persons. They really in love with the place and all speak the same that we will definitely come back again ! The owner has a service to bring you to the supermarket at 4 pm everyday. That's awesome we can do cooking and enjoy precious meals with our family. There are not many houses here so it is the best option for anyone who looking for the cozy places and can also enjoy the wonderful snowy view. "This is a very traditional old Japanese house, and it's less than a 10-minute walk from the JR subway station. The house operates as a guesthouse, with shared bathroom facilities. Our room had a beautiful view of the snow-capped mountains, which was absolutely stunning. Although some of the facilities are a bit old, it felt very cozy and welcoming. Breakfast was simple, just toast and coffee. If you're looking for a typical hotel experience, this might not be your first choice. However, if you want to experience traditional Japanese-style accommodation, this is a great option. Plus, the landlady is incredibly friendly, speaks excellent English, and is very engaging. I personally recommend it."

"A fantastic guesthouse with Chinese-speaking staff. The guesthouse was very clean, quiet, and cozy. The beds were very comfortable. Although the room didn't have a private bathroom, the guesthouse's bathroom was almost as spacious as a private bathroom, and there was even an open-air hot spring bath. A simple breakfast was provided, and the restaurant's coffee machine, microwave, and refrigerator were available for your use."

"Included dinner was great and it was a 4 course meal. Breakfast was also great with unlimited bread. At 4pm onwards, you can use the hot bath. Dinning room and living room have heaters so you won't worry about being cold. Room also has heater that you can set as you like. Fyi, it's the norm in Hakuba to charge extra for that heating, it was 500 yen a day."

"We stayed in the 7bedroom log cabin with our group of 14. Bedrooms were large and cozy with new bathrooms in each. The whole place has been renovated with a big kitchen and communal lounge with heaps of room for a large group. Great location with a 2 minute walk into town, close to restaurants, shuttle bus and convenience store. The Pensione next door who manage the log cabin looked after us so well and are super helpful dropping us to ski lifts, onsens and making reservations for us. Chika is an absolute legend and made our stay amazing. Would recommend this house to any large group and great for multiple families"
