Hotel berhampiran Tuin van de Rode Nonnen, Bruges

The room was tight and some mosquitoes were in the room which was very annoying.

We have enjoyed our stay in this hotel with short walking distance to the Centrum. We have tried the breakfast which was good as Service staff offered freshly cooked omelette. The only set back is the route to the hotel which we found a lift outside the train station to the level of the carpark leading to the hotel is very Dirty n Smelly. Upon Check-out we used the Hotel Back Road which leads to the Train Station instead of using the Dirty/Smelly Lift.

The only thing good about the hotel was the location. Every thing else was bad. This is NOT a hotel you should book if you are driving and will like to park your car. The hotel will tell you that there is a huge public parking right across but will not tell you that to get to the parking lot will take 15 minutes of driving though walking back is 5 minutes. Also there are no clear directions and the whole old town is mostly one way. Hotel is old and not well maintained. Color scheme is very dark and lights very gloomy. Paint on walls and even doors are in bad shape. Washroom need lot of upgrades. I would never again stay in this hotel in fact will stay away from NH hotel chain.

Tidy pleasant place to stay . Breakfast is great , my only issue is the toilet room in our room is tiny . I’m not a big person and I had to open the door to pull up my underwear. The bed is huge and comfy . Great shower space but not private if sharing with a friend ( no door with window view of the bed ) Parking is perfect . T zand underground and the elevator brings you out in front of the hotel entrance if you exit pavilion D parking on level -3 All in all it’s a great location and the staff are very nice . I would stay again for sure .

Great location and super friendly staff. Only a 5 minute ride by taxi from the station and from hotel to main square a 5 minute stroll. Very helpful suggesting restuarants (Cafedral my favourite) and best hotel breakfast ever. If your going to Bruges and want to be pampered it’s certainly worth considering.

Хороший отель с великолепным расположением. Есть небольшие минусы, на которые в принципе можно закрыть глаза (вайфай не работает практически, вода тёплая, но не горячая). В целом оправдывает цену и свой рейтинг.

So pleased we found this gem of a hotel. Ideally placed for wandering around Bruges, we were able to store our overnight back in the luggage store, then explore before check- in opened. We were warmly welcomed by all staff whenever we had interaction with them and the service was very efficient. We stayed in room 002 which was located through the car park, but was nicely tucked away and quiet….. other than being able to hear the coffee machine through the wall of the breakfast room! It wasn’t a problem though. The room was spacious and had all amenities you would expect to find. The bed was comfortable and air con is available. We did request a double rather than twin, but had two beds pushed together with a single quilt each. It wasn’t a problem for us, but not what we asked for. We didn’t mention it, but I’m sure if we had they would have sorted it. The shower was good, and teas & coffee is available in the room. There was a fridge, but no milk. I’m sure you could ask for milk at reception if desired. All areas were exceptionally clean, and we did check out the spa, but it’s a bit dingy in the basement. Shame not to have a pool, but there is a small gym for those who need more than the extensive walking you’ll be doing when exploring Bruges itself! We did consider parking at the hotel, but they wanted us to leave a key and access is tight! We have a large car, so decided to park on Bevrijdingslaan, one of the free parking areas just a short walk from the hotel. Other car parks are available, but we were able to leave our car here for free overnight. The hotel were very helpful prior to our stay in advising the closest car parks to the venue.

Excellent location, Clean and quiet. The rooms showed as the photos. The bathroom was clean with good amenities, good details. Comfortable stay with a baby, I highly recommend this hotel for couples, families or staying alone.

Wij bezoeken regelmatig steden. In dit geval Brugge. Hierbij een hotel gevonden welk de waarde, uitstraling en authentiek is als geen ander. Dan spreek ik nog geen eens over de gastvrijheid en warmte die Hans en zijn echtgenote ons als gast hebben doen beleven. Een kamer waar niets ontbreekt. Uitermate schoon, airco, apart toilet en badkamer. De inrichting is met respect en met voelbare liefde voor de geschiedenis van het gebouw gerealiseerd. Ik benoem de mooie stoelen, het bed met historie naar Italiaanse Lucca. En met de moderne aanpassingen van deze tijd. Regendouche, dubbele beglazing, led tv en karakteristieke meubelen. Het uitgebreide ontbijt wordt geserveerd in het oudste deel (14e eeuw) van het hotel en niet alleen door de talloze broodjes, beleg, vers fruit maar zelfs zonder het ontbijt is al een belevenis. Kortom fantastisch en wij komen hier zeker nog .. keren terug.

We stayed here for 2 nights whilst on a cycling tour. My husband was feeling unwell and we needed to arrange for an electric bike for the second week. Geert (reception) was amazingly helpful in talking to the bike hire company who between the two of them magicked up an electric bike in time for our departure. Geert went above and beyond what you would expect from reception. Also Benoit was very kind and patient in explaining the foibles of an electric bike to us, in addition the room and breakfast were great. Thank you
