My husband and I just stayed here for 4 nights. We were given a very early check in, as well as a late check out on the last day. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. The Pony Line bar was great and very very busy Friday and Saturday. We came back from dinner late Friday night and even though there was no space, we were told they could seat us. The Elena restaurant was also very good. Wonderful staff and good. Although it took an unbelievably long time to pay. We went to the pool 2 days. Absolutely the best pool in BA and just a gorgeous view of the mansion and probably the most perfect pool temperature I’ve experienced. The spa was nice. They are not doing facials because of Covid. So we received body scrubs and massage. It was pretty good. I’m glad we went but not sure if book there again. The room itself was wonderful. The Nespresso maxing in the room was wonderful. The bed was super comfy, the soaking bathtub with bath salts and L’Occtaine products was just perfect. Also the view of the city and mansion/pool was just incredible!! Would definitely recommend

Probably will return. A 3.5 star. Location is excellent, in a tree lined street in Recoleta neighborhood. Across street from a small shopping mall Patio Bullrich, which has movie theatre and cafe. A few blocks north (left) is the good restaurant Fervor and cute cigar bar, both highly recommended. Very good service; again most of the staff don’t speak English. Hotel has a restaurant Alma on the ground floor. A gym, pool (could use some cleaning!) and sauna on the first floor. Our room is spacious, so is the bathroom. The electrical power outlet uses Type I - 3 prong. (Some other hotels in Buenos Aires use European Type F - 2 round prong). I only find one usb port in the room. Bathroom. The corner of the bath tub is beautifully rounded out. Water pressure in the shower is very good. The three essential, shampoo, bath gel and conditioner (that’s how my shower’s sequence) are good but very difficult to get to - the pumps are too small and too close to the wall. Can’t imagine how some one with bigger hand … Open drainage - ok it isn’t ‘open’ but it feels like it - you’ll hear every drop of water down the drain. Maybe it’s their way to remind you to conserve water. Two elevators function well and quick. But at group check out time, it can take for long time. Remedy: go up first.

This hotel has a great location. Two blocks from plaza San Martin and the red tourism bus stop #11. a very walkable with eateries, restaurants and convenience stores all within a block. Right next door is a nice church. The place is super clean and breakfast has a great many things to pick from. There is a pool on the 12th floor as well as a sauna and exercise room. Pool towels available in reception.

We were on an extended trip that not included BA but Iguazu in the North all the way down to Antarctica. We used the Sheraton as our ”base” camp if you will. We stayed 3 times over the course of almost 4 weeks. The team here was very gracious and helpful. They allowed us to store our bags while gone (i.e. leave the hot clothes or the cold clothes depending on which direction we were going). Everyone was very helpful. The rooms were of good size. Only thing to look out for is the Air conditioners. I think they have them on motion detectors so if the room is empty they are off, but if you are moving around they come on. Never was fond of this technology as it can get hot at night while sleeping, and best we could tell there was no way to override the system. Regardless, the location is fine, near many things like the train station, the cruise port, the domestic airport etc. Good area to walk around in. The Concierge lounge is average, nothing over the top but very sufficient. All in all we had very nice stays and will stay here again on future trips.

I've been staying at Air B& B's since 2017, being La Habana; Cuba my first experience ever so Trip Advisor (finally) is great to see I can now review Air BB's and by the way just a ”constructive” criticism more ”categories” should be added: trains, airlines etc. (just saying). Here we go: As a native Argentinean I go home at least once a year to visit my family, obvioulsy 90 % of the time to & from Buenos Aires, not I'm not from B.A. (Buenos Aires) but I either fly to or from to continue my trip to my hometown. My last time there I stayed at Top Rentals Buenos Aires, my very first time using this company and I must say I was really impressed ! The property is located on Esmeralda Street so centrally located is within walking distance pretty much anywhere downtown, super safe, always be mindful of your surroundings like everywhere else and do please ( can't type all caps) but NO flashy jewelry or nothing fancy while on the streets. The check in process is located in one of the upper floors of the Building Complex, but upon arrival the security officer at the lobby will give you specific instructions where to go. Rooms are so spacious, clean, beautiful views of the area and a small balcony to sip your malbecs, with the River Plate on the background. The staff is super attentive, apartments comes with toiletries, towels, and utensils for cooking, but really ?? You are in The Paris of South America so who will want to cook ? I couldn’t use the pool too cold for me. I highly recommend it you won't regret it, so good this place is that with my luck!!! One of the South American Presidents (don't know whom) decided to stay in that same building at the time of my visit, no wonder why there were so many police and security so if this place is good enough for a president of country I'm guessing is good enough for us to!! O hotel é muito bom. Os lençóis são bons e limpos, café da manhã bem variado, tudo bem fresquinho a localidade também é boa, o uber e táxi chega bem rápido. O quarto tem um tamanho bem legal. A recepção foi muito simpática. A única coisa que não mencionava na reserva era a necessidade de um cartão de crédito, no entanto no mais gostei bastante!

I was there for only 5 hours, had to book them because Emperador Hotel wanted to charge me $400 for an early check in. Not disappointed a bit for booking the property for my short stay. Hotel is centrally located, nice and clean rooms. I was on the 13th floor and the room was of good size. Hotel employees were nice and helpful. Check in was fast and without any fuss. Their mini bar was stocked which was a total surprise because they were empty in the Emperador Hotel and the Sheraton where I stayed later. Although rooms are a little old but not a big turnoff. Another person whom I met on my trip also booked the same hotel too. Missed not using the rooftop pool though.

Without a doubt, the best hotel we stayed in during our 18 days in Argentina. I travel often and the staff has gone above and beyond with not only our needs but every guest I saw them interact with. We had planned to stay at multiple hotels in between our side trips to other cities, but our first experience was so good, we chose to stay at the Carles each time. I know this Hotel Since 2004 and visited a couple of times. I near Santa AV, Onje block from 9 de Julio AvV. and les than 5 mins from General San Martin Station (Metro Line C). The guys at the reception are very competent, friendly and attentive. Has 3Elebatores and a pool, restaurant, Sauna, decent Wifi in Lobby and in every floor.. The Hotel has 3 Elevators. Our room was quite big and includes a small refrigerator and a touch induction cooker over the countertop, as well as a microwave. Also there is a 50” Led TV. Air conditioning. Safe deposit Box. The bathroom is well equipped and spacious. Plenty of plugs available in the room (keep in mind that Argentina uses 220V)

I stayed here for 3 nights in October and was very pleased with the hotel. It has a great location that is a few blocks from the impressive Avenida Quintana. Walking down this street will lead you to the famous Recoleta cemetery and La Biela. This part of Libertad street does not have buses on it so it is a lot more quiet than other streets in Buenos Aires. The bed was very comfortable and the room was nice and clean. I was on the 8th floor and the Wi-Fi worked great!

I stayed in Casa Calma for one night, with the idea of gifting myself a night of luxury and wellness after a very long trip filled with hiking and (frankly) many a mood swing thanks to an errant med I was on. My room was magical. It was beautiful, the bed was simply heavenly, and the bathroom was gorgeous. I loved the rain shower. The bathtub was magical, but I do recommend running the jets once or twice before drawing yourself a bath, as mine emitted some grime. I also booked an in-room massage with them, and it was utterly fantastic. She relieved my sore muscles and (truly) I told her I had a sinus headache from allergies and she cleared my sinuses! I was able to store luggage with them safely and easily the next morning for my last day of exploration. I should say too that they were intensely flexible with me. My airline threw me for a loop by changing my flight - same reservation but now it would stop in a town in-between before landing at my final destination! - and they were able to move around my massage and understand my later check-in. Only other downside would be that many of the extras cost more, and since booking it is a little over the median, I would have preferred more things, like water bottles for example, be included.

Avoid this hotel at any cost. It was a shameless bait & switch tactic. We booked a quadruple room at the Recoleta Luxury Boutique Hotel. We prepaid a few nights to be on the safe side. When we showed up to check in according to plan the room we were supposed to occupy was not available due to, supposedly, emergency renovations. Staff gave us contradicting explanations: some pipeline had flooded the hotel but the renovations seemed to be more than just a last minute fix. It all looked planned. The unavailability of our room certainly came as a surprise, we had been in touch with hotel staff repeatedly throughout the prior weeks. They claimed that they did not have contact info to let us know about this unexpected turn of events: false, they had sent us confirmation of our booking to our email address. We had contacted them several times over the phone and in person leading up to our stay at the hotel. They sent us to another establishment belonging to the same hotel chain: the so-called Le B Club & Terrace. Ignore the pompous name: it is a student hostel with horrible maintenance and lousy hygiene. We are talking roaches; walls badly in need of a coat of paint; a rickety, claustrophobic elevator on the brink of malfunction, and a curious reluctance to change our towels, among other details. Both establishments seem to be seriously understaffed. The little staff there is available comes across as terminally uninterested, apathetic, jaded, possibly untrained, prone to lame excuses and bogus explanations. One of their pretexts was “I can’t help you because I just started in the job”. When we finally got lucky enough to confront the manager of Recoleta Luxury Boutique Hotel, an elusive woman by the name Carolina, she apologized profusely and claimed to be on our case. Once again, she wrote down our contact info (or pretended to do so). Several days have passed and we never heard back from her: out of sight, out of mind. In short: avoid this hotel and all its other sister establishments at all cost. It will be a disappointing and at times infuriating experience.
