This quinta is so charming! I loved having the beautiful plantation where we would pick our own bananas straight off the tree. The view is gorgeous as well and the breakfast delicious! Perfect for a family stay.

This is a lovely property, surrounded by banana trees and amazing views down the hillside to the ocean. The perfect spot to relax in peace and quite away from the main city while still being super convenient to explore all there is on the island. The staff were very friendly and served amazing breakfast outside every morning.

We visited the Quinta during a time when they were having emergency repairs done to the pool/jacuzzi area. To their credit, the staff sent an email alerting us in advance so we could adjust our plans. Also, the goat habitat was being rebuilt while we were there so we did not get to experience the goats. However, we did meet a friendly cat, and eat some fresh bananas directly from the trees. We stayed in the Master Suite for two nights. The room was phenomenal. Very smart, trendy, clean and with a large balcony and a kitchen. The bed was our favorite of the three hotels we stayed at in Madeira. Who should stay at this hotel: hikers who plan to do their own, light cooking. The terrain is steep in every direction. The drive to the parking lot is also steep and extremely narrow, so if you bring a car, make sure it's a small one. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the inclusive breakfast was good, though I wouldn't miss a morning hike for its limited hours (starts at 8:30). What stood out for me, was the hotel's great communication during a challenging moment for them. Overall, a great value for the price point.

This small hotel is located on top of Camara de Lobos, about a 30 minutes walk on a steep very narrow street above the port of Camara. You will need a car as it is fairly isolated but make sure you ask for directions to the Quinta as the GPS was not reliable for us. The rooms are small but pleasant and well appointed. The hotel is quiet as located among banana plantations. The breakfast was excellent but is only served at 8.30 so this is not a good place to stay if you want to hike, as most parkings at the levadas or picos are full by 830-9am. This is however a nice place to relax at the end of your stay in Madeira.

We had such an amazing wedding anniversary at Quinta da Saraiva! Everything was absolutely perfect. The room was beautifully decorated, and the stunning view from our balcony was unforgettable. We loved relaxing in the jacuzzi and by the pool, both of which were so serene and well-maintained. The fresh, delicious breakfast each morning was the cherry on top. The location is also perfect—close to the highway for convenience but still quiet and peaceful, and within walking distance to Câmara de Lobos. Thank you to the wonderful team for making our stay so special. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful getaway!

Beautiful facility with the nicest and most helpful staff. We got a room with a balcony facing the swimming pool. The room has such a nice decor and we felt that it was roomy with 2 balconies. Breakfast was a highlight of everyday. We enjoyed the great variety of food and it was also great eating by the swimming pool. Don’t forget to ask for a tour of their facility and spend sometime with their residence goats and cat. Nelly our housekeeper was the sweetest as well as the ladies at the front desk. Wonderful boutique hotel. I miss it dearly.
