Stayed at the begining of January for 2 nights. Set in a small square which is pedestrianised, about 100 m uphill from the main road. Room very much in an old Spanish or Moorish style. All the staff particularly friendly and helpful. Gustavo who works in both the hotel and the restaurant (across the square) was especially helpful as were the two ladies who served breakfast in the restaurant. Room had all neccessary amenities and tea making facilities. There was also free coffee in the second floor lounge. Bed was comfortable, the shower had good power and the balconies. Definately stay here again. .

Major contraction works going on which was not mentioned at the time of booking. This holiday became a nightmare from start to finish. Large Cranes on site which woke me up every morning. Maintenance work going on around the site and no closing off the areas to the guests this was a very dangerous hazard. Builders/maintenance men walking across the pool whilst the guests are sunbathing. This place is on a steep hill and a car is a must. Reception is a Taxi drive away unless you have a car. Lots and lots of stairs to climb this is not for the disabled or young families. Taxis are hard to get we had to wait hours and some didn't even turn up. The Swimming pool has a barrier which you need a key to get in and out feels like a prison. lots of steps to climb to and from the pool. The pool had four Pool Showers which were all not working and closed off so we couldn't have a shower after a swim. The swimming pool toilets had no toilet paper. Apartment is very basic not like the glam photos. No hot water for first day, the hot water kept turning on and off all week. Bed sheets are just one flat sheet nothing else. No house keeping. Tumble dryer didn't work. No near by shops or bars, we had to take a taxi to the supermarket and everywhere else. Overall not a good holiday, very noisy with all the works going on, men walking around with heavy tools whilst you are enjoying the sun. Having to walk around all the mess was off putting let alone dangerous, it was as if we wasn't there. No mention of hills and stairs or any construction work in the reviews was a bit strange. I blame lastminute.com for not informing us of all this whilst booking this holiday.

Ha sido toda la experiencia maravillosa. El hotel te hace muchos detalles al llegar, tienes café y té gratis ilimitados y te regalan muchas galletitas lotus. El desayuno increíble hay de todo y lo reponen cada dos por tres. Incluso hay una pequeña merienda. Las habitaciones huelen genial y está todo limpísimo, cuidan mucho los detalles. Trabajadores simpáticos y atentos. Por otro lado, la modernidad de las luces, televisiones con internet, luces led... Ha sido sorprendente. Esta muy cerca dle centro de la ciudad y puedes ir andando sin problemas a cualquier sitio. Sin duda repitiriamos en este hotel. Buena calidad, buenos precios.
