Celebrated my mom’s birthday. We enjoyed our stay, loved the pool and our room was spacious and clean. The buffet breakfast is great, wish it had pancakes or waffles for vegetarians. The hotel is located at the heart of Knysna- short stroll to the waterfront, plenty of restaurants& activities. Parking is available on site for ZAR30 p/ night and tourism levy is ZAR30 p/ night. Our check in was 30 minutes late, (14:30) bit disappointed, but we understand it was peak period. Otherwise highly recommend and will definitely return!

Einzigartig Unterkunft mit grandioser Aussicht. Ein sehr geschmackvolle eingerichtetes Haus, schon fast ein Kunstwerk. Leider war der Pool etwas grün und zu kalt. Hier würde ich wieder übernachten.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Turbine. It's like staying in a living museum! The decor is incredible, with modern touches and the ancient generator technology on display. We booked the 2-night pamper package which really was value for money. The food is great, the service was friendly, the massage was the best I've ever had, and the room was spacious, clean and super comfortable. Can't wait to go back, seriously. The two restaurants at the hotel (Island Cafe and Gastro Pub) were also both really amazing with great food and service. We were lucky that we were there during hot days, enjoying the pool and sun loungers right on the canal.
