"We would not return to the Punta Tragara. The location is stunning, and our suite was beautiful, but the staff is unpleasant, with the exception of Federica, who is lovely, and the breakfast staff. Although it has gorgeous views, and is a 5 star, expensive hotel, it is 27 out of 44 hotels in Capri on tripadvisor. I should not have ignored this red flag. There are plenty of other hotels with gorgeous views, and you can also see the Punta Tragara's views from the end of the street (Via Tragara)."

"The minute we walked into this hotel we were greeted with cold, homemade lemon with mint drinks. All of the staff were very attentive, polite and hospitable. We even booked a massage at their spa and it was pure heaven. The hotel is exceptionally clean. They have turn down service and are always willing to go the extra mile to service guests. I wish we were staying longer, but will definitely return. The hotel also has a Michelin rated restaurant on site and, oh my goodness, the food was so fresh and delicious. I could not feel more pampered."

"I left my bracelet, ring, and necklace on the bedside table and forgot to put them in the safe. When I returned after going out at noon, they were all gone. It seems the cleaning staff took them. Although I contacted the hotel, and the manager even accompanied me to the police station, the hotel refused to compensate me for any loss. They even wanted to charge me extra for breakfast. The hotel asked the cleaning staff, who of course said they hadn't seen them either. Haha. The hotel is very small; it makes you doubt whether it's a five-star hotel. "We had a great time and really enjoyed the hotel, even though we had to switch rooms. About half the rooms have been renovated, but there are still some older ones. It wasn't a huge deal, but the newer rooms are definitely much nicer to stay in! The hotel has an excellent pool, so after a long day at the beach or if you're a bit sunburnt, you can relax by the pool and have lunch at their restaurant. The service and food quality were both very good. Everything was delicious, and I can confidently recommend this place! The view is absolutely stunning, like something out of a fairytale! We had a room with a large balcony, which was fantastic!) Breakfast was also excellent, with everything you'd expect and need. A great start to the day with a magnificent view and a cup of cappuccino."

"I booked the room with sea view but wasn’t visible so much the sea more the hotels in front and tennis court which was always noisy. I don’t suggest if you are coming to see the Capri to stay there because Capri Island is magical and all that noisy gives you to tiredness from morning. I stayed there for 3 days then I moved to another quieter hotel with amazing view."

"iloved this hotel.. it was at the top of the island.. the place was recently redone and just opening for the season so there were some bumps in the service.. the rooms were comfortable and well appointed.. the staff was well intentioned but not really well seasoned.. i suspect this is because we came close to opening day.. i will definitely go back as i liked the intimate feel to the hotel.. i also like that it was not the most trendy resort.. almost like a hidden gem"

"The best hotel we visited in costa Amalfitana. Beautiful rooms, large and updated decorated. Wonderful terrace to bay view. Best breakfast with porch eggs in 3 different ways of serving..best cakes and muffins. Minibar is free of charge and full cold drinks. Vittoria in reception and Luca in dining room were so nice, friendly and helpful so we had to give them credit to our appreciation. We highly recommend the hotel, best located and atmosphere."

"Wow what a place! This is a wonderful hotel with the most amazing staff. You are met by the most welcoming and helpful staff. Ensure you use the free taxi service to get around which was an amazing addition to the trip and made life easy. The room was gorgeous with incredible views of the island. We were upgraded to a too. With a hot tub which was incredible! All the staff were always gathered for any request and couldn’t do enough for you. They were kind and attentive and gave some great suggestions when it came to visiting the island and dining. The box of toiletries you’re given on arrival is perfect for any ladies travelling as you don’t need to think about a thing. This is highly recommended and we would definitely go back"
