The retreat is a perfect mixture of calm and adventure. Each room reflects the indigenous design with every element carefully chosen, right from the wood to the verandah in the bathroom, the private pool to the blinds at the Rapti Villa. This coupled with a team that goes above and beyond to ask you at every point about how your stay is going. I remember everyone from the chef to the receptionist to the GM checking on us about our stay. The food was a classic Indo-Nepali affair on Day 1 and a Japanese set menu for lunch on day 2. The jungle safari and boat ride were to say the least, breathtaking. We saw a herd of 6 rhinos with the naturalist giving us interesting tidbits about the animal and the forest. The evening was a cultural affair with the Tharu dance performance where we danced with the locals over scrumptious food. There's a lot to do and yet one can choose to do nothing. Just sitting at the lawns overlooking the Rapti is a wondrous feeling; self reflective, calming and symbiotic with nature. I've rarely seen a property that combines the beauty of nature in such a perfect setting and makes you miss it terribly once back. Meghaul Serai, A Taj Safari is one of those.

Lovely authentic hotel that really fits in to the vibe of the national park, the guides where great and the food was tasty also, the rooms where stunning and really made you feel like you living in nature, the outdoor bathroom was great, i also loved the main walk in to the room

We had a wonderful day with Mr. Babu today on our safari trek! We were able to see adults and a baby rhino. We had the pleasure to pet a Momma elephant and her calf - the highlight of the day. He is a very informative guide and very good at his job! If you come to River Bank Jungle Resort, ask for Mr. Babu!!! He’s the BEST!!!

We stayed at Landmark Forest Park for a Chitwan safari arranged by Mountain Monarch Adventures, as part of a trek + safari package. Landmark was selected by MMA for us, in other words. And what a wonderful choice. We’re very grateful to have stayed Landmark. Clean, comfortable, and evidently relatively new - in great condition. But I’m taking the time to write a review because the staff really stands out. From our pickup st the airport to check in, to retrieving our luggage which somehow didn’t make it onto our flight. To our guide, Sanjay to the safari organizer, Krishna. Both really took care of us. And in the dining room, we really looked forward to every meal. Delicious. And there, the restaurant team, Sanjeep in particular - who always remembered how I like my coffee - noticed I wasn’t eating dinner. I came to sit with my wife but had been nursing a cold and had no appetite. He inquired if I was as ok. And hearing my situation asked if some fruit would be good and went to the kitchen to have it made. This was do nice and caring and helpful. What more can I say. Thank you, Sanjeep. One of the best hotel experiences I’ve ever had. Staying in a tent was so cool (and it’s surprisingly big!), and everything inside is so comfortable. We could view and hear so many animals from the balcony. The activities were so much fun and we learned a lot from our guide Suman. Everyone from the staff was so caring and attentive, it was the best hotel service I’ve ever had. And the food they serve is absolutely delicious. If I could give 6 stars I would!!!

Initially there was bit of a miscommunication however the way they handled the situation was extremely beyond expectations. I am really delighted to share my and my family's experience in Jungle Crown. I would give a tick mark in all aspects right from hospitality to cleanliness and food and everything. Also it's pretty reasonable as compared to other hotels in that location. Rooms are big enough with beautiful balcony. Also the internal garden view was quite soothing and relaxing especially for a person like me who comes from a city like Mumbai. Last but not the least huge shout out to RAVI CHAUDHARY who went extra mile to take care of us and our stay at the hotel. My huge recommendation to all the travellers going to Chitwan please do not miss this place for a beautiful experience coz I made memories out there.😀
