What an absolute gem … from the check-in experience with Clare to Chouaib in the restaurant, who I might add makes the best coffee and cocktails, to the check-out with I think was Nicole - everyone was wonderful and would put to shame most expensive resorts! You have to have dinner at the restaurant … the quality of the food and the portion size and price was possibly the best I have experienced for a long time - sorry I forget the chefs name, but 100% effort and quality from the chef! Everything was so clean … the rooms were amazing, the beds and sheets were so comfortable, that if we did not have an early morning appointment, we would have taken up the 11am check-out and slept in. So summing up, this has been the best discovery, based on a fluke of getting the last room available in the area on an extremely busy weekend - thank you to the entire team at The Remington Orange!

I stayed here for one night with my daughter in Executive Queen room. Great location with fabulous views across the valley. The room was spacious and the bed and sofa bed were very comfortable. A decent continental breakfast was available on a self service basis all day. All in all really impressed. Great value for money.

I had booked this place the night before we were going, so I didn't have much left to choose from when trying to find a reasonable priceiced place for the might. LOCATION about a 5-minute drive from the centre of town, it's on the main road driving into Orange. You wouldn't be able to walk to town. It was suitable for what we needed ROOM the room was large with a double bed and a single bed for our son. The bathroom was a little run down, but it did the job for a shower. No bathtub. Small table and chairs. It has a mini bar which I didn't expect. The AC was a little noisy when on heater. OVERALL I found that most places in Irange were a bit expensive for accommodation. They have breakfast available, we didnt have it. Free parking.

What a glorious stay in Orange! From Maggie at reception greeting us by name upon our arrival (we were the last to arrive so she laughingly told us, so knew, but it was still a special touch!), to her helping us work out exactly where we were with the map, and her advise on where to eat that night and what were the specialties - the pizza bases were exactly as she described and the recommendation to Spilt Milk gelato bar was heaven!! Reception is simply gorgeous, what a beautiful space! The rooms were exactly as described and perfect for our family, 2A and 2 teens, the teens being so happy that there were 2 single beds and they didn't have to share ha ha! King sized pillows, king sized super soft bath sheets, super generous and delicious breakfast bags which was a lovely touch including local produce and ground coffee for the plunger, everything was well thought out, executed and contributed to such a perfect and fun filled weekend! Thank you again, we'll be back!

Motel yang dipulihkan secara fenomenal. Dipesan sepenuhnya dengan pelancong, pelancong korporat perniagaan, dan pekerja serantau. Bergaya seperti Miami tahun 1970-an dengan kawasan kolam renang yang indah, cabana dan restoran taman untuk bersantai. Kakitangannya cantik, banyak tuala dan kemudahan di bilik dan kolam renang.
Tempat yang sesuai untuk berehat di antara mesyuarat dan tetamu tuan rumah! Tempat peranginan santai, mungkin penginapan terbaik yang pernah saya tinggalkan untuk perjalanan perniagaan di seluruh dunia. Itu semua yang anda perlukan dan banyak lagi!

I recently booked 3 rooms for myself and two colleagues on a business trip to Orange. We were in recently renovated King rooms. It’s not often I am so impressed with a motel that I remember to write a review, but this place was inspiring! The room itself was very large, with quality fittings and furnishings. The bed was very comfortable. But it was the bathroom that I was most taken with, as it was beautiful, with a large free standing tub and quality brass fittings. Needless to say, everything was spotlessly clean. The motel does not have its own restaurant, but we walked next door to a delightful Italian restaurant and had a lovely evening. I would definitely stay at this motel again .

PPengguna TetamuKakitangan sangat ramah. Biliknya bersih, suka penambahan kecil beg teh Remy & Max Nightime. Lokasinya hebat kerana berdekatan dengan semua restoran dan pasar raya yang indah.
Satu-satunya kelemahan ialah penghawa dingin tidak berfungsi dengan baik.
Pasti akan tinggal di sini lagi jika kami kembali ke Orange.

KKaushikWVisited Orange over a long weekend and decided to stay at Parkview. We were pleasantly surprised with the quality of accommodation given its a pub. Location is by far the best in the heart of town walking distance to great eating joints, shopping and bars. Since we didnt drive, being in the centre of town was a great advantage. We booked Deluxe Room (think it was #4) which was in a small enclosed space with a common lounge area shared with other deluxe rooms. Well insulated and recently renovated. The hotel & the pub overall were well maintained and clean. Staff was friendly and very helpful. They had live music on friday and saturdays which can compete with any great pub in Sydney. We definitely enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend Parkview Hotel to anyone visiting Orange.

We stayed at Mercure Orange for 3 nights in a Deluxe Suite (1 Queen bed and 2 Single beds). Staff are friendly and helpful and check in/check out was easy and fast. We stayed in room 318 which was situated on the 1st floor at the front of the hotel. The room was spacious with everything you need to make your stay comfortable even a Nespresso coffee machine. The balcony was large and overlooked Byng St and shared with other rooms. The bed was comfortable and the shower had great water pressure with a waterfall head or detachable head. Housekeeping kept the room clean even on weekends. Plenty of space to hang clothes and store luggage. Breakfast was served at the cafe at the Orange Ex Services club that is accessible from the hotel. Parking is outside on the lower level, there are stairs or a lift to 1st floor. Overall a fabulous stay in Orange and Mercure will be our go to hotel when we return.

RRohNelJumped in the shower the first night and noticed right at the door on the tiled floor a long hair and balled bit of paper, enough said, it hadn't been cleaned properly. The bed was dishevelled looking and mattress had a nasty slope to it, woke up with sore backs both mornings. Didn't realise it was mainly miners staying there otherwise I wouldn't have, alot ofcar doors banging etc early hours. Could hear the guy piddling in his toilet next door...yuck. Not an enjoyable stay and mentioned the shower at reception with little to no care. I always give reception a chance to right the wrongs before I review but I got nothing, its simply pretty much set up for the shift workers and that's it.

PPengguna TetamuI visited Orange for the Medieval Festival and because the town seemed so popular, there wasn't much accommodation at a reasonable price available. I paid $75 for a single room with shower but shared toilet. The room was compact and had AC which worked, tv (remote or tv not working), shower that leaked. The downlight above the light did not work. As it is on top of a pub, the music could be heard in the background til 2am and although on the main highway, I only heard one semi-trailer at night. The Royal Hotel is centrally located with two shopping malls nearby and two other pubs within a 5 minute walk. The location can't be beat. The duvet and mattress were very comfortable and whoever was the buyer should be commended for that. Wifi is free and worked sufficiently enough for Facebook. Overall - if you set your expectations low - it is actually alright but if i paid my standard $130 for a night I would have felt cheesed off..If the Royal Hotel put some effort in doing up the place, it would get a higher rating and the ability to charge more. I suggest an ensuite in each room.
