Visited in June 2019. The hotel was clean and satisfied all our basic needs during our stay there. Didn't give a 5* because the furniture was a little dated. He meals were delicious and the staff members were professional and friendly. Would stay there again if l were to visit again.

Rooms are o.k, onsen is great and food option not so good... Arrived there quite early at 15:30 Hotel was kind to sent a shuttle to pick me up from Tateyama station. There are no taxis there and no public transportation. However when I arrived to the hotel I learned that there are no eating options unless you pre-order at least 24 hours in advance your dinner. For such a large hotel that quite a few people stay, I find it a bit strange. They should at least have some very easy to prepare items, like pasta. I was offered small dish of sushi and soba soup, probably after they felt sorry for me... So that was nice, but still think they should have some simple items available in their restaurant. The onsen was great! Rooms are simple and comfortable. There is absolutely nothing to do around and if you are without your own car, better to arrive late, or just before dinner, assuming you order it before. Good hotel but can very easily turn to be a great hotel...

Amazing views from the bath and rooms. It snowed heavily when we arrived and departed and the staff kindly offered to guide guests to the station at 9am. Truly, without which, we might have been in real danger as visibility was poor and it was very difficult to walk and follow the trail when markers are under snow. Snowshoes and poles are available for rent at 1000yen per person per day. Remember to bring your own toothbrushes, towels and yukata/pajamas as these must be bought or rented. Nevertheless, our stay was unquestionably an unforgettable one. I would like to thank the staff for sending to my last hotel in Japan, the spectacles I had forgotten at the sink. Unmatched service. Do not miss out on this chance to make an unforgettable memory!

PPengguna Tetamu다테야마에서 머무르는것 자체가 좀 부담스러웠는데 이용하고 나니 여기 묵기를 잘 했다는 생각이들어요 ㅎ 체크인 시간 전이었으나 짐도 맡아주셨고, 제가 머물렀던 날에 총 7명이 투숙해서 붐비지 않고 좋았어요! 대욕장에서 다른 사람만나지 않을까 걱정했는데 혼자 여유롭게 씻었습니다 ㅋ 숙소 근처에 칼데라에 가는데 필요한 장비도 다 구비되어 있어서 안전하게 다녀올 수 있었습니다! 돌아오니 저녁때가 되어서 석양 보면서 밥도 먹고, 야간에 별도 구경하고 최고였습니다 ㅎ 직원들은 말할 것도 없이 친절했구요 여름에 습지 트래킹이나 가을철 단풍구경도 좋다는데 만약 또 가게 된다면 무조건 이 곳으로 갈꺼에요 ㅎ 아 그리고 다음날 이용할 버스 시간을 고를 수 있는데 미리 잡아주는것도 아주 좋았습니다! 참고로 냉장고는 없어요! 근데 원체 추워서 창가에 두면 냉장고가 따로 없습니다

CCKAmazing views from the bath and rooms. It snowed heavily when we arrived and departed and the staff kindly offered to guide guests to the station at 9am. Truly, without which, we might have been in real danger as visibility was poor and it was very difficult to walk and follow the trail when markers are under snow. Snowshoes and poles are available for rent at 1000yen per person per day. Remember to bring your own toothbrushes, towels and yukata/pajamas as these must be bought or rented. Nevertheless, our stay was unquestionably an unforgettable one. I would like to thank the staff for sending to my last hotel in Japan, the spectacles I had forgotten at the sink. Unmatched service. Do not miss out on this chance to make an unforgettable memory!

He meals were delicious and the staff members were professional and friendly. Would stay there again if l were to visit again.

PPengguna TetamuVisited in June 2018 but forgot to click 'submit'. Wanted to experience Murodo both day and night. So Murodo’s Hotel Tateyama fits the bill. However, the entire building and rooms look and feel too old, desperately in need of a renovation. To get to the hotel lobby from the bus station, the only way is to walk up a few flights of stairs - no lift !!! Not good for old folks or those with weak knees .... really very trying to climb up and down each time you need to get out of the hotel for a walk. The room smells musky and old. The public Onsen was pathetic. We did not use it. We used the family bath instead. We chose this hotel as it gave us the privilege to walk the snow wall after 5 pm all by ourselves. Also, we enjoyed star gazing at night on the hotel roof top. Indeed quite an experience.

PPengguna Tetamu房間是日式榻榻米，三個人住比較寬舒。餐飲就山上的條件而言也還行，能吃飽。客棧離室堂平至少兩公裏，基本是台階或石頭路，大概翻過高高低低三個山頭，有點累，但一路的風景還是挺不錯的。酒店就在地熱旁邊，溫泉是原生態的，酒店離登山者露營地比較近（最後一張圖是酒店門口拍的，放大，彩色的小點點是露營⛺️）
