"Had some hiccup when trying to check in as there aren't any receptionist for the 10mins we been there. Unable to complete the check in form too, but when the receptionist came back, we are able to check in smoothly. The room is clean and comfortable bed, with balcony too. Even the lobby feels like a 3 stars hotel. Free breakfast is served with warm food."

This special place is close to everything, making it easy to plan your visit for 2 (+) people. Nestled in a beautiful residential neighborhood this one room suite has a private entrance and a compact, but cute, ensuite bathroom. The suite is attached to our home where we live year round. You have reserved access to our heated swimming pool in summer, and year round access to our hot tub. The suite offers a queen bed, fridge, Keurig and microwave. We have a single 3 in 1 sleeper chair available for a third person. However, three people in the suite may feel pretty cozy.
We try to give our guests their space but are available if you need us. Your guest suite has a separate entrance but is attached to our home. We just recently finished installing an exterior deck for your space and a brand new bathroom with shower.
We live here full time and plan to provide you privacy but are available by text. Since we share walls we may hear one another but have quiet time hours 9 pm to 7 am. We will allocate a predetermined 2 hour window daily for you to have access to pool (only summer months) and hot tub time without us being there.

The bungalow is 4 blocks away from a popular food cart pavilion with beer garden & live music, natural food market & coffee shop, a spa & massage center, chiropractor, natural pet store & many parks. It is close to University of Oregon (8-10 mins), Hayward Fields (8-10 mins), Autzen Stadium (10-15 mins), downtown (7 mins), fairgrounds, events center, stunning hikes & rivers, public pool & a variety of restaurants & stores to meet all needs. It is also close to a beautiful country drive to many Willamette Valley wineries. If you feel like cozying at home, you’ll enjoy the high speed internet & Smart TV where you can sign in to all your own favorite streaming networks, use the bungalow’s Roku & Peacock accounts & watch basic cable too.
Begin your stay with a cup of the starter supply of coffee which I provide for your first morning. Living room is ready for you to relax & get cozy with plenty of blankets, pillows, books & a comfy couch & armchair to sink into with a cup of a variety of teas which I also provide. This property truly is an oasis, so if you are staying more than a week, myself or someone else will likely come to water plants and tend yard if need be to keep things beautiful for you. We love to design spaces that are not in a box. We want to give our guests an experience that is meaningful and memorable.
Let's start with the turret. 14 feet tall in the center, the eight-sided cedar-lined space has windows all around and a large skylight in the center. This opens out to the upstairs deck to catch the summer breeze (or smell the flowers or help yourself to the fresh herbs). Beneath is a covered deck, where we have our "spare" kitchen and full-size fridge.
From the turret, you pass through the triclinium, where the glass balusters give you unimpeded view of the trees and view to the south of the house. (We don't offer TV, but you won't miss it.)
Then there's the kitchenette, which has a few surprises of its own. (Don't make us tell you in advance.) All the basics you need are here: oven, microwave, stovetop, sink. The kitchenette includes a dorm-sized refrigerator. We keep it outside on your deck, behind a sliding copper door. (We don't like listening to refrigerators cycle and hum, so that's why we keep them outside. Weird, right?)
