A great place to start my small tour of SriLanka. I had a late arrival flight into Colombo so was keen to have a short transfer. This Lagoon Hotel was perfect, only 10mins from the airport, and quite the treat on arrival. Great pool, relaxed environment and of course in the Sri Lankan way, amazing service. The front if house team were very welcoming and helpful and Arusha and her amazing team in the bars and restaurant made us feel very welcome. The food is very good and the lobster and giant Prawns that came straight from the lagoon were delicious. Save yourself for breakfast though! What a feast!! The room was very comfortable, a ceiling fan would have been nice, as the aircon as a little noisy. A few extra amenities in the room would have been appreciated, moisturiser or similar for the silly Englishman who underestimated the power of the sun!! Overall a perfect relaxing start after a very long day travelling. Thank you

This was my third stay at the Goldi Sands, honestly, the last time was nearly 20 years ago but I had such a great time back then I had high expectations. In the intervening 20 years, the hotel has had a revamp, double the size, double the number of swimming pools, added an elevator and they've removed the beach-fronted bungalows. All of which I think was a smart move and well worth doing. What has changed is the service and the catering. The staff are of course all very polite just that they didn't go the extra mile like they used to. We arrived late as our flight had been delayed, all I wanted was a couple of bottles of beer, they did arrive but I almost had to beg. I booked a taxi to the airport with the front desk, but they forgot, the waitresses at dinner were all about the hard upsell rather than serving. The breakfast as far as my memory serves me used to be awesome, today's breakfast is the same every day and lacks imagination, is poorly presented, and includes the worst coffee ever. The hotel has a confusing number of tariffs from all-inclusive to room only which means if you want to buy a drink it takes forever as they have to check your ”status” and then if you pay cash they have to go to the cashier as they carry no float. The rooms are a good size, clean and comfortable but basic. All in all it is still a good hotel to choose but sadly it is no longer in the memorable category.

Oh it’s a long story of visiting this beautiful Logoon side Resort. We had booked this resort way back in 2021, but Covid2 arrived. We postponed to 2022 but Economy meltdown happened, we booked for 2023 but has to postpone for personal reasons. All this while , the Resort was extremely patient and finally we made it in 2024. Apart from many other Front Office officers, it was ultimately Ms Sachini because of who this trip happened. Thanks to her, and her Manager Mr Muzini Jiffry for their excellent Customer handling. The resort itself is beautifully located on a thin ***** of land with the ocean on one side and Negambo lagoon. Well mowed lawns, beautiful rooms, Pool by the Lagoon, Dining hall with Lagoon view. Their F&B department could have no match. Buffet spreads were amazing. Restaurant Manager Mr Ian was so very cooperative, Chef Anurag always served with a smile. Chef Mahesh was the person who created some amazing dishes on our personal request. Shanika the Restaurant Supervisor made sure we ate well and affectionately served us. Our House keeper was also so efficient. She ensured our neat and clean stay. We were also fortunate to meet the Chairman of Regenta Resorts during our stay. He exchanged some good words with us and asked us to visit again. Overall an Out Of The World experience. We’ve decided to visit this Resort again.

We had an amazing holiday in this beautiful resort. Staff were so helpful and friendly. Room was well equipped and comfortable with all the amenities. Nice sea view rooms. This is the best place in negambo if you search a relaxing holiday. Pool and surroundings are amazing. Restaurant staff were friendly and always with a smile. Special thank to chathuranga. I recently stayed at Vivanta Colombo Airport Gardens and had a mixed experience. The pool area is absolutely fabulous, offering a great place to relax. The food exceeded my expectations, with wonderful flavors and a good variety. The staff were notably attentive, contributing positively to the overall experience. However, the pricing felt a bit steep for what was offered, especially given the disappointing room view which was just overlooking buildings, contrary to the picturesque images advertised. Additionally, the terms and conditions were confusing and poorly written, potentially disadvantaging guests. A word of advice: skip the pricey airport shuttle service, which costs 4000 Sri Lankan rupees, and opt for an Uber or PickMe ride, which you can get for around 500 rupees.

We stayed here for one night on two dates using the hotel as a transit hotel on arrival and leaving Colombo. This is not really a tourist hotel and more suited to businessmen. The hotel has so much potential for overseas guests due to its close location to CMB airport (15 minutes by car) but needs a lot of repairs and improvements. The overall decor is dark and gloomy. Exterior of building needs painting. The hotel has poor streetscape appeal so on first arrival a guest feels they have made a poor decision however on entering the lobby and met by friendly staff it becomes more reassuring. Lots of doors and passageways make the hotel feel uninviting, dark and old fashioned. Stayed twice and never saw the swimming pool which I understand is somewhere in the hotel. The restaurant food does not suit overseas guests, was expensive with limited choices so we ordered room service twice. Reception staff were kind, helpful and friendly. I hope the owners put some money into refurbishing this hotel as it could be a fantastic hotel for overseas guest coming through Colombo. Until it is smartened up I would only stay 1 night whilst in transit.

Hive 68 at Negombo !! is one experience I shall remember and cherish. Located in the midst of the town of Negombo, it has its advantage of being close to the airport. So, if you are getting in or getting out you could consider planning your stay here accordingly and you’d be pleased with it. About the hotel and its rooms. It’s more of a Bed and Breakfast concept. Ideal for solo or couple travellers. With kids too small I’d not recommend it.  Rooms are neat, well-spaced with decent and clean washrooms. Each room has its own mini veranda with a small sit out, overlooking the lagoon stream, the village and the beautiful St Mary church. The décor all over is kept simple, yet elegant in its own way. Request for room service as per your need and the staff, polite and very hospitable will take care of it. The beauty of Sri Lanka is experienced with the country and its people. To understand this, it is best witnessed. The morning breakfast isn’t of the buffet type, with time they could put it up as an option. You are individually served a fruit platter with a local fresh fruit juice followed by your choice of eggs, accompanied with sausages, bacon, bread toast and coffee or tea. A small yet decent portion to start off your day. The restaurant has a basic menu with mainly a mix of continental and Sri Lankan food. For drinks the local Beer and wine is a good option.A local curry rice is what I’d suggest to include as I found it missing, given the town feel. The portions again are sumptuous and filling. For its location one can explore around the town with ease. Local sight-seeing includes many churches, few temples, a fish market and a beach with a lot of tourist friendly restaurants. Rani and her family are such a lovely people and perfect hosts. They made us feel really welcome in Sri Lanka and gave us lots of useful tips. The room is big and comfy with the balcony and comfy bed with mosquito net. Breakfast is delicious and they can cook for you the best Sri Lankan curry 😍 We was worry at the beginning that there is no hot water but trust me - you will be glad about it cause Negombo is a hot place and cold shower is what you really need. The location is good, close to the shops, restaurant and the beach. When we back in Negombo we will definitely stay with Rani again!

Вкусный завтрак был включён в стоимость! Хозяин отеля-Уди, прекрасный человек! Очень вежливый, участливый, супер-отзывчивый, всегда поможет, ответит на все вопросы, сделает все, что в его силах, чтоб ваш отдых в отеле был замечательным! Обожаю это место, людей! 空港から近いです。 時間の関係でちょっと滞在には便利かもしれません。 でも、近くにはお店やバスもないです。 近くのバス停や電車の駅は タクシー、トゥクトゥクを使わないと歩くのは大変。 アメニティは何も無いです。 持参する必要有ります。 部屋は衣類をかける為のラックと椅子、ゴミ箱のみ。 朝食はあります。 飲食は屋上テラスで食べることになっています。 スリランカ🇱🇰料理ミルクライス、ココナッツ🥥使ったサンボールー出してくれました。辛いけどとても美味しかった。 ホテルのトゥク🏨トゥク高いと思います。 金銭トラブルがありました。 お願いした場所に買い物に行き、レジが混んでいた為時間がかかりました。びっくりする金額が請求されました。 、、なぜかを伺ったのですが理解しにくい回答でした。 ちょっと残念。利用前にオーナーとお金をきちんと相談し利用した方が良い。 このホテル予約サイトから支払い済みでホテルに滞在したのに 滞在費を請求されました。 アプリから領収書の画像を見せて説明し、返金を願いました。 トゥクトゥクと合わせて請求お支払いしたのですが、、 理解できない理由でトゥクトゥクが高く取られた為 ホテル代金全額は返って来ませんでした。 オーナーからは、支払い済みは知らなかった。と回答。 なぜ、アプリサイトからカード支払いして予約したのに その様に回答されたのか、どんな仕組みになっているのか、、理解しにくい結果が残念でした😢

The Terrace Green Hotel is lovely and clean. The reception staff, especially Sanjika, were fabulous. Sanjika welcomed us on arrival and looked after us during our stay. She always greeted us with a smile and a laugh, such a lovely lady. Highly recommend a stay here although it's off the beaten track and a bit of a walk to the beach but great value for money

Ideal for solo or couple travellers. With kids too small I’d not recommend it.  Rooms are neat, well-spaced with decent and clean washrooms. Each room has its own mini veranda with a small sit out, overlooking the lagoon stream, the village and the beautiful St Mary church. The décor all over is kept simple, yet elegant in its own way. Request for room service as per your need and the staff, polite and very hospitable will take care of it. The beauty of Sri Lanka is experienced with the country and its people. To understand this, it is best witnessed. The morning breakfast isn’t of the buffet type, with time they could put it up as an option. You are individually served a fruit platter with a local fresh fruit juice followed by your choice of eggs, accompanied with sausages, bacon, bread toast and coffee or tea. A small yet decent portion to start off your day. The restaurant has a basic menu with mainly a mix of continental and Sri Lankan food. For drinks the local Beer and wine is a good option.A local curry rice is what I’d suggest to include as I found it missing, given the town feel. The portions again are sumptuous and filling. For its location one can explore around the town with ease. Local sight-seeing includes many churches, few temples, a fish market and a beach with a lot of tourist friendly restaurants. 空港から近いです。 時間の関係でちょっと滞在には便利かもしれません。 でも、近くにはお店やバスもないです。 近くのバス停や電車の駅は タクシー、トゥクトゥクを使わないと歩くのは大変。 アメニティは何も無いです。 持参する必要有ります。 部屋は衣類をかける為のラックと椅子、ゴミ箱のみ。 朝食はあります。 飲食は屋上テラスで食べることになっています。 スリランカ🇱🇰料理ミルクライス、ココナッツ🥥使ったサンボールー出してくれました。辛いけどとても美味しかった。 ホテルのトゥク🏨トゥク高いと思います。 金銭トラブルがありました。 お願いした場所に買い物に行き、レジが混んでいた為時間がかかりました。びっくりする金額が請求されました。 、、なぜかを伺ったのですが理解しにくい回答でした。 ちょっと残念。利用前にオーナーとお金をきちんと相談し利用した方が良い。 このホテル予約サイトから支払い済みでホテルに滞在したのに 滞在費を請求されました。 アプリから領収書の画像を見せて説明し、返金を願いました。 トゥクトゥクと合わせて請求お支払いしたのですが、、 理解できない理由でトゥクトゥクが高く取られた為 ホテル代金全額は返って来ませんでした。 オーナーからは、支払い済みは知らなかった。と回答。 なぜ、アプリサイトからカード支払いして予約したのに その様に回答されたのか、どんな仕組みになっているのか、、理解しにくい結果が残念でした😢

Good Hotel, I was Impressed with the first impression, Rooms are Cozy and comfy. Lots of ants in the bathroom. Not an issue when I understand its nature and Hotel team attended rightaway and solve the issues. At my checkout, I paid everything. Settled my bills, asked them to store my luggages for 2 hours, as I wanted to do sightseeing and lunch before heading to flight. We stopped by reception twice, once we were waiting for the vehicle we simply asked for a glass of water, even the staffs reconfirmed if we want a glass or bottle.. we clearly mentioned that we need a glass of water. They brought us a bottle of water, which is very nice, excellent and we loved it. After checkout we went out, due to traffic we came back to Hotel in rush, worrying that a minute wasted might miss our flight. It ruined my whole impression with the hotel when the staff member came running behind me mentioning I have a billed to settle, I asked her what is the item to pay since I have settled all my Bill's. She had no clue, started calling her colleagues, while I kept saying I might miss my flight. Make it hurry, at the end because of the hotel service I wasted my time to pay for a bottle of water which is misunderstandings or the hotel, served us a bottle when we asked for a glass, fine if they charge for a glass. Not a problem to pay but the charges should be presented and asked to pay rightaway when they know that we are checkout and ready to go. Just running behind me for payment of a water bottle, irritated me alot and changed my whole impression of the stay. Nice hotel, if you want good comments and to be popular in the city with the tourists. Need to train the team of what service is. Its definitely not the Receptionist fault. Management should train them, be available to make decisions when it's related to customers experience. Or empower the Receptionist in decision making. I have no problem paying for a bottle of water when I have paid alot more for my accommodation and food there.. but last impression was spoiled from their own mistake.

1st week of the February we were there used their pool then they did not tell anything but next time I called to ask to use the pool they said its not allowed to use the pool for locals.then I said actually my husband is Swedish and then my son also , n my self who lives in abroad.So how does it apply to us and then he kept me on hold then ask how old 8s my son I said 3 years then he made a fake excuse telling that they don't allow kids what? I asked then I used your pool 4 weeks ago n now say like this.and then he said go to the jetwing blue which locals use.really unprofessional and he kept telling its the management and there rules, now I am wondering what are these rules.how does it apply for my family.i am really disappointed.i felt ashamed to tell this is how my country treats.if they said like some other hotels they don't take outsiders only take the packages like buffet and pool its okey.or else some hotels informed us telling there's no sunbeds but if you like without its okey.we used so many other hotels like club dolphin, camlot, pledge escape they are really good and know how to treat their guest.but the reasons jetwing beach said to me really different. Unprofessional that's all I have to say.

A fantastic little homestsy that we will stay in agsin. A wonderful generous family who have agreed to store our bags for us while we travel the island. Located on a lovely quiet street. We definitely recommend.

在這裏住了一週，我想我真的很喜歡這個酒店。因為是對比了攜程和booking後下的決定。管家Saman人很好，我第一晚到的時候是深夜，衹需要聯繫他，他會開Tuktuk車來大門口幫我拿行李。他們也會在乎住客的動向，深夜會提醒我注意安全。房間非常乾淨，提供開水壺和礦泉水，空調製冷也很好。房間沒有提到有熱水，實際上熱水也有提供，但是可能需要自帶拖鞋和牙膏牙刷。再有就是這更像一個私人花園，雖然偶爾有飛機飛過的聲音，但是大部分時候都非常安靜。尤其是他們已經嘗試在裝載wifi了。而且酒店自備廚房，如果要使用也可以諮詢管家。英語溝通比較重要，但是有翻譯器估計問題不大。向大家推薦這家酒店。
