The hotel is in a great location! Close to main attractions and lots of restaurants! Main staff was not very friendly. Hotel is beautiful when you enter. Rooms are very old and need updating. The toilet in my bathroom had a corroded tank and a broken lever. That was a bit frustrating. Bed was very hard!! Room was very cold! Only one thermostat for the entire hotel. There is no individual thermostat in each room. Had to ask for extra blankets. They did provide that for me. The fitness room is very nice! Every thing you need to have a really good workout! They indicated they are in the process of renovating rooms. They’ve just not completed that project yet. I would stay there again if the price was right. Hopefully next time I’ll get an updated room!

Good hotel, nice location with reasonable price but here is tricky part, they told me to pay deposit and I give them cash but front desk lady said they only accept credit cards so I gave them my wife credit card and they charged me 98.72US Dollars (688.09RMB) which were going to return to my wife’s account in next few days but so far they didn’t return it. Here is the proof in attach photos. After more than 2 months I still didn’t get back 98.72US Dollars. I want my ********money back, you cheaters return my money back ASAP. Do your ********job and return my money. You ******** cheaters.

This was an interesting place. The value was great for the location and the quality of the room. They took some kind of additional fee off the deposit, but in exchange you get two free drinks during happy hour? A very interesting concept!

I had a great visit I was taking care of by the front desk and The room was clean and up to date and it had a big screen tv which was great while I was in room relaxing place was quiet and peaceful I would recommend this location to others.

My brother and I had to visit a sick family member in Crestwood. We have stayed at this Holiday Inn before. We were always pleased with the accommodations until now. The room was old and in need of updating. The carpet when you walk in was ripped. The light by the bed only had one light bulb and the shade was cracked. The desk only had one bulb at the top and the light over the sink in the bathroom was burned out. I asked the woman at the front desk if it could be fixed. She said she would put me on the list. It never was fixed while I was there. Sunday morning we had breakfast. There was enough food. When we returned for breakfast on Monday there wasn't any food left. I kindly asked the woman in charge of the buffet if there were any more bagels. She reacted to me in a rude manner by saying she didn't have any bread products! She said we had 300 people over the weekend and we are all out. Wouldn't that be something you would budget for?? She told me there was other food to eat....All that was left was some unappetizing biscuits and gravy and turkey sausage. There were supposed to be pancakes. None! Not much of a buffet. The next day there were bagels but not much of anything else except the biscuits and gravy and sausage. We stayed for four days and three nights. Our rooms were never cleaned. Upon check out I asked why our rooms weren't cleaned and we were informed that we had to request our rooms to be cleaned. We were never told this at check in. Needless to say, we will be looking for a different hotel next time we visit family. I don't think it was worth the price we paid.

This is probably one of the best hostels I've stayed at in the U.S. I've stayed at this hostel twice now. The first time was in 2015 and the second time this past month for Market Days. Location: The hostel is centrally located in Downtown Chicago/the Loop. It's easily accessible to get to and from O'Hare Airport via the Blue Line which runs 24 hours. The closest CTA station is Jackson Station which also has connections to many other CTA lines. The hostel is also located within walking distance to many other tourist hotspots like Millennium Park, Broadway shows, Lou Malnati's Pizza (10 minutes), etc. There's also a CVS Pharmacy at the corner of the street that sells liquor and other essentials. On the weekday, the area is bustling with downtown workers, but on the weekends, it's like a ghost town. Most restaurants and stores close by 8/9pm. The only place to eat at if you have a late night is Taco Bell which closes at 2am. Another downside is that there are a lot of homeless people that have set up camp in front and around the hostel, so some people may feel unsafe walking around. Security: The property is very secure. There are multiple entry points to get into the hostel with a key card. There's another entry point to get access to the elevator banks that lead to the rooms as well as required card access to go upstairs and into the rooms. There's also a 24-hour front desk. This was a saving grace for me because my flight from New York was delayed that I ended up arriving at 3:30am. Keep in mind, if you plan to arrive after 3am, you should notify/call the front desk and let them know otherwise they'll mark you as a no-show and cancel your reservation. They also have storage lockers/a luggage room for a fee. Facilities/Amenities: My original reservation was for a 4-bed male dormitory, but there was someone sleeping in my assigned bunk. When you arrive, there is a fitted sheet, pillow sheets, a bath towel, and a face towel (no comforter). You are expected to make your bed. Since I arrived so late and my roommates were already asleep, the overnight staff (DJ) was nice enough to put me in an 8-bed dormitory that was unoccupied, so that I didn't wake up anyone. Both rooms were very spacious/high ceilings/massive windows with a lot of space to store luggage and walk around. All the rooms have lockers (bring your own lock or buy one at the front desk). In the 4-bed dorm, there is a common area with a kitchen/bathroom that connects with 2 suites. The 8-bed room is setup where the toilet, shower, and sink are all in separate areas instead of all in one room. The shower area has dispensers for body wash, shampoo, and conditioner. There are also common showers and toilets on every floor. The downside of the dormitory is that you can't control the temperature of the room. Summers in Chicago are hot and humid and the room was kept in the 60s, which I loved. But, my roommates thought it was too cold for them. The WiFi access is very stable and fast. Th

Was able to get clean room at last minute

Good location! Very convenient to start the tour in the city. The curtains at the bed for privacy can be bigger. Safety wise, just try not to roam around after dark.
