"Lovely, unique, rapidly evolving boutique hotel with excellent food. From moment we arrived every member of the team at The Highfield were friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and made us feel like it was our home. Gramacy room quirky but perfect. Evening meal Sumptuous and created with care and artistry. Small bar area before and after our dinner was great to just relax and talk to guests and bar team. We will be back."

"Small and friendly located on the edge of a golf course 30 minutes from Bridlington. So happy I chose Burton Lodge over a generic hotel. It's like staying in the owners' home and for me the perfect spot between Spurn Point and Brid. Spa area is lovely, the pool was warm and it was great to get a massage on site. Burt's Pizza is worth the short walk to eat by the lake!"

"just had the best sunday Lunch with my family for my Birthday , 9 adults and 3 children ( 4 including a baby ) the pork loin. sirlion was to die for , more than enough food , veg, was seasonal, the staff was attentive , then we had drinks on the terrace while the younger children played hide and seek in the grounds, we had such great fun"

"The owner has let this place go to rack and ruin since his wife died a few years ago. It’s an absolute disgrace and should not be allowed to trade. It’s a death trap. Old dumpers, forktrucks, diggers. Caravans. Cars etc all littered around the site, it’s a disgrace. Dirty facilities. Dirty waste disposal. Dirty mops in showers / toilets. No ladies sanitary disposal bind. Everything is closed and falling to bits. The local council should close it down. The owner should be ashamed of himself. It’s nothing like advertised. DO NOT GO, it should be shutdown. Other reviews must have been made by friends and family of the owner. DISGRACEFUL…."
