A wonderful stay and what a lovely welcome by Fion , looked after our luggage while we checked in at reception with John who was made for this job ! such a nice welcome also , thanks John and Fion. We are already looking forward to checking in later today. Overall we highly recommend this hotel - five star all the way !

Stay here! Every staff member goes beyond. They gave us an early check in on our arrival and even packed our breakfast to go when we left. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Hop on , hop bud close by with the City Centre just a 15 to 20 min walk. You don’t have to stay in Dublin Centre, consider this hidden gem!

TV remote was broken, the maintenance guy the reception sent said ”it's like that...” wiggled it till it worked. It did not work again after I left. had no energy to deal with it.

This 4-star hotel is a fantastic find near the city centre! The rooms are spacious, providing plenty of room to relax, and the hotel itself feels open and welcoming. The swimming pool was a real highlight—clean, well-maintained, and a great spot to unwind after a day of exploring. The location is excellent, with easy access to the main attractions and public transport nearby. For the price, it offers great value, with a good balance of comfort and convenience. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a comfortable stay close to the city’s best spots.

I have just retuned from a weekend stay at the Merrion with my daughter to celebrate my birthday. It was absolutely beautiful. Our room was spectacular, huge, so clean and every amenity you could wish for. The turn down and make up service was the best I have experienced in any hotel. Real attention to detail. Room service was so prompt and the food was amazing. We had drinks in 1923 and The Cellar Bar, both of which were also awesome. We ate in the Sunday evening in The Garden Room which was fabulous. We used the Spa facilities and had treatments each. Our Therapists were really great. Overall a very memorable trip and I was unable to fault any aspect of the hotel. We will definitely be back.

Lovely check in by young lady, didn't get her name, but she told me she was in final year in Shannon college. Beautiful food and service in Saddle room, all the team were excellent but the name I remember is Emanuel. The doorman on Monday morning, a wet one, was just excellent, he made our morning, I did not get his name but was a senior Irish gentleman, Irish hospitality at its best from him. Lovely bedroom, extremely comfortable bed and lush pillows. Overall, a wonderful experience, all promises delivered, I forgot to mention the excellent young lady mixologist in the bar, wonderful cocktails.

The location was great for my purpose, I had some business to attend to in Fonthill and the hotel was a stone's throw away. Still needed to drive but it was a 5min drive. It is also walking distance from Liffey Valley shopping mall. Its a typical large mall with decent restaurants and a cinema. The hotel is connected to a fitness centre (like a health club) and it offers a gym and swimming pool. Entry is free for hotel guests. Go early, the pool gets crowded after 8.30am. There is ample parking and it's available at a concessionary rate. My only grouse was the lack of toiletries provided. Thankfully I had brought my own set. The toilet only has hand soap and shampoo (but the dispenser was almost empty). Other than that, the room was spacious, clean and the bed was quite comfortable. Worth staying at if you need to be in that area.

We loved the setting of the hotel and exploring the local area. It was great to be so close to Dalkey for evening meals. We also enjoyed a nice meal in the Mapas restaurant one evening and an evening of live music in the Dungeon Bar. Breakfast was ok but nothing more and we felt over-priced for the variety and quality. The room we had felt tired and and dated, although the bed was very comfortable and clean. The room was a bit dusty as was the staircase and hallway (please note the renovation work on the stairway will have contributed to a lack of cleanliness in that area). While the communal social areas are nicely done out, our bedroom and possibly others need a bit of attention and investment. The staff were all great and made the difference. Everyone we met was friendly and welcoming, a credit to themselves and to the hotel.
