"LCR is a boutique hotel in a relatively quiet part of Ende. It's on a laneway so misses much of the street noise. Check-in smooth and all the staff were super friendly. Rooms are standard hotel rooms with ensuite over 3 floors (no lift). Large double bed was very comfortable. Bedside lights a plus. Small rooftop balcony. Breakfast was tasty Indonesian buffet with fruit toast and spreads. Various teas and coffee in French press also. Got laundry done efficiently. The staff even returned 35,000 rupiah I had left in a pocket."

"I will have to say that this visit to this quaint island was a highlight to our trip around Indonesia. Patrise and his crew were knowledgeable, friendly and professional. The accommodations were well appointed. We were the only guests there, but we didn't feel alone. The excursions were thoughtful and filled with conversation. This was by far the best part of Indonesia for us."

"The staff is unfriendly and sleepy. The filth is unbelievable. We didn't stay at this hotel; we left immediately. We rented a very nice and clean house nearby for the same price. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. The amenities include two tiny towels. There's not even toilet paper. No one in their right mind would stay in this filth!"
