"We have just enjoyed another excellent stay in Villa Capodarco . Its a wonderful place to stay for so many reasons. The beautiful location great pool and gardens. Very comfortable beds and excellent breakfast. Roberto is a great host with good suggestions of places to eat and visit. Would highly recommend if staying in Porto San Giorgio. "

"Pleasant enough and maybe the most comfortable around, but our Monday night dinner there was a disaster; one of the worst meals we have had out of hundreds in Italy. Everything was like-warm and ill-conceived. That there were only four people dining probably meant there was a stagier in the kitchen. For all I know, the food was reheated. Our room was weird. The sink and shower were at one with the bed. Only a tiny WC was seperate."

"Fermo is a gem of an historic walled city, perched on peak of a high, steep hill. The modern hotel is perched on edge of the cliff. Views from the rooms over the valley & of the surrounding hilltop towns are spectacular. Restaurant is cantilevered out beyond the main building structure & shares these views. Similar incredible view from roof garden above. Parking is in street in front & also below hotel. A public elevator links hotel to streets below. Hotel is just outside the archway into the old city. Numerous interesting places to visit in old city. Also a good centre from which to explore Abruzzo. We were given a very large suit of rooms, all very generously proportioned. Bathroom included a huge, sculptured walk-in shower. Our rooms were very quiet. Air Con. was very good, as was room lighting. Our breakfasts & dinners in the hotel were all excellent. Staff all very friendly and efficient. This was the best hotel we stayed in, over 2 month’s touring Italy"

"Smelly garden shed.... described as Deluxe Bungalow!.... man alive we were shocked. Terrible location. Tried to think of some way of making it work but there's no kitchen of sorts no fridge no kettle ... ugghhh. Shame. I felt like telling the owner I'm not a blessed refugee but thought to just crack on with getting out of there. Paid €250 for 3 hours of deliberation how to get out of there"
