Accueil, disponibilité et gentillesse de toutes les équipes, une super directrice très avenante, une restauration très locale et fortement appréciée, les thermes à coté, de l'animation dans la ville, bref tous les ingrédients y étaient pour y passer un excellent séjour d'une dizaine de jours. Ancien Grand Hôtel de la Paix, l'établissempent garde encore le souvenir de sa splendeur passée , une touche de modernité en plus : c'est maintenant un appart'hôtel , avec ce double avantage qu'on peut indifféremment y préparer ses repas et /ou y consommer son petit déjeuner en salle (9,50, tarif raisonnable, à l'image du prix des chambres) ainsi que ds repas dans le restaurant attenant. Personnellement, nous avons pu dîner le soir au soleil sur le balcon de notre chambre (Plombières n'est pas dite ”La ville aux mille balcons pour rien !) grâce à la table et aux chaises pliantes mises à notre disponibilité dans un placard. La chambre (même amputée d'une partie par la salle de bain) est spacieuse, possède ce qu'il faut en tables, sièges, commode, tables de chevet (il n'y en a souvent qu'une pour un lit à deux places) ; les lits et la literie sont impeccables. Quant aux toilettes, elles sont,- chose rare également - indépendantes de la salle de bain, elle-même de belle taille et possédant une baignoire (élément de confort qui tend à disparaître avec l'instatllation systématique de douches) Seul petit problème : il manquait une lampe de bureau car, me levant tôt, je n'ai pas pu y faire mes écritures , le problème étant que si j'allumai la lumière, elle éclairait par la même occasion le lit où dormait ma femme. Petit inconvénient qui ne pèse pas lourd au regard d'un ensemble très satisfaisant. Ajoutons que, en semaine en tout, le calme est absolu la nuit. Terminons par l'accueil qui s'est révélé fort agréable.. C'est un endroit qui ne nous a pas déçus, ma femme et moi, et que nous vous recommandons donc en toute logique.
