Room was nice enough albeit extremely warm at night. Thermostat controls had no effect. Bed was comfortable, but I still can't get used to the idea of a see-through shower in the middle of the room. Don't expect much in terms of shower gels, shampoo, conditioner etc ... don't get me wrong, they do provide some but it's an extremely small amount. Oh, and don't reply on getting earbuds, toothpaste, sewing kit, etc, those days have gone. 22 Euros for breakfast is extortionate, especially for a buffet. It's not amazing and personally I wouldn't bother. Only reason I had the breakfast (and dinner) was because there is nowhere else to go in the vicinity. On that note, dinner menu is minimal. I ordered Pizza which was worse that a frozen pizza from Iceland (UK shop). Seriously, it was bad and definitely not worth 13 Euros. If you're a Vegan, good luck, there is nothing really worth going for. Also, don't bother paying extra for your room just cause you want a Nespresso machine. I didn that and found out that the hotel does not have Nespresso machines (so I was told by reception). I didn't even get an apology or rate revision. Pfahhh! DoubleTree in general if pretty good, but this one was Average!

This Hotel makes me want to make the city of Frankfurt a stop and relax place for me to unwind during long trips. This time I was assisted by Sophia Gutler at the reception desk who helped me in trying to locate my lost membership number and also by finding me the rooms that fit my family wishes. The personal was really friendly and helpful. We spent one night there in a room with two single beds. The room was big enough for a bassinet and a stroller. The bathroom was big enough too. Even if the hotel is close to the highway we could sleep well.. The windows are soundproof and the walls aren't thin, so we didn't hear anything from the other guests. The room and hotel itself was very clean and they took a lot of care in cleaning and measurements against spreading of COVID-19 virus. The parking lot is with 6€ for a day/night also cheap. We were totally satisfied during our stay and can recommend that place.

Hotel is located in outside of the center, in a pleasant neighbourhood. Local train stop to go to the center is within walking distance (approximately 800 meters). Some restaurants and supermarkets are also closeby. Rooms are clean, spacious, comfortable, well-equipped. Breakfast buffet was very good. Wifi worked fine. Staff is friendly and eager to help. Price-quality ratio was very good. Only minus points: - indoor swimming pool has very limited opening times and therefore easily gets crowded when open - rooms are not equipped with airconditioning. After a hot summer day be prepared for tropical temperatures in the room. While a fan was provided this did not help as it was so noisy that it was impossible to sleep whilst the fan was on - on-site parking costs EUR 19,- per 24h while there are certain areas right in front of the hotel where you can park your car for free

We stayed two nights at this hotel. We arrived early from our US flight and the staff was able to get us a room immediately, even though it was a few hours before check-in time. We really appreciated this, since we were all tired after the long flight and had two tired kids in our party. Their breakfast is really good and well stocked and clean. We enjoyed it on both mornings. This hotel is some ways from the airport and it is around 40 Euros one way in a cab or Uber. Romer (city center) is around 10-15 minutes from here (around 12 Euros in Uber). We were able to experience Frankfurt's wonderful Christmas market on 2 days conveniently from this hotel. The best part about this hotel was the staff. They were really welcoming, helpful, professional and took pride in their jobs. Every interaction with the front desk was awesome and the lady who manages the breakfast area was working very hard to keep the area clean and the food well stocked. Kudos to the staff of this hotel! We did notice two small issues with this hotel. One issue is that there's no restaurants or groceries nearby. It seems like an industrial area. To mitigate this, the hotel does have Pizza available in the evenings. The second issue was that the rooms were too warm. Since AC is not on during winters, the only option to make the room temperature more acceptable was to open the windows, which made the room noisy because of cars driving fast in the street nearby. The blankets provided were more like comforters and so we couldn't use them at all. The hotel should find a way to fix this issue. In all, we really enjoyed our stay at this hotel and will definitely consider it, if we plan to spend time closer to the city center.

The room was large and quite nice and there was a nice view of Galluswarte tower from the window. But I missed light on the ceiling, there were just small lamps at different places. I did not sleep well as the window is everything else than soundproof, you can hear all the noise from trains (the hotel is next to a railway line), trams and cars on the street. I got a bath tube but when I went for a bath hot water was soon gone so it was not the most pleasant experience. There was a mini fridge and an electric kettle on the room, with some cups, coffee and tea. But no black or green tea without added flavours. There is a sauna in the ba*****t, operating 17 – 23 h, you should let reception know at least 30 mins in advance so they can heat it up. I haven’t tried it. Overall I was dissappointed and I will not come there again.
