The hotel is conveniently located within walking distance of the lake and city centre. The amenities were excellent, and the room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was a mix of western and Chinese cuisine. The staff was welcoming and helpful. Overall, this was an excellent value for money.

Kind staff, clean hotel. The pool is closed because it is not clean, wasn't mentioned when booked, disappointing.

I am very happy with our stay at this hotel. The location is perfect, near the lake, a few minutes walk to Riyue (Sun Moon) twin towers. The hotel is very clean, looks like newly remodeled. Great view from hotel restaurant. Good options for breakfast and all amenities are really good. All fruits/snacks/drinks in the hotel are free. Have you ever seen toiletries in hotels look this good (see attached photo)? Best of all, their customer service is top notch. Everyone works there are very polite and helpful. I highly recommend staying at this hotel if you are at Guilin, probably the best you can find.

Peralatan mandian dikonfigurasikan untuk 4 orang, sesuai untuk keluarga. Bekalan juga sangat bersih dan kemas. Kedua-dua bilik mempunyai pintu dan balkoni yang berasingan. Pakaian boleh dijemur. Sudah tentu, mereka hanya boleh digantung di pagar balkoni. Pemilik dan keluarganya sangat mesra dan mesra. Secara keseluruhan ia sangat baik. Mengenai tempat letak kereta, ia diletakkan di kawasan lapang bersebelahan dengan penginapan. Lokasinya agak kecil. Saya tidak tahu apa yang keluarga fikirkan. Saya mengalihkan tong sampah ke tempat letak kereta. Keluarga itu berpaling dan mengalihkan tong sampah untuk menghalang kereta saya. Apabila saya mengambil kereta pada keesokan harinya, terdapat seorang wanita tua yang muram di rumah itu. Memandang saya, sangat bimbang bahawa dia akan memberikan anda segala-galanya. Lokasi agak jauh. Ia mungkin mengambil masa 20 minit untuk berjalan kaki ke daerah perniagaan berdekatan. Ia kira-kira 15 yuan dengan teksi dari kawasan pusat bandar (sekitar Jambatan Jiefang). Ia sesuai untuk pelancong yang sukakan ketenangan dan tidak peka dengan jarak trafik. Secara keseluruhan, ia masih sangat baik.

Incredible experience. The service was top notch as were all the kids amenities. Train, zoo, paddleboat, rock climbing, crafts, indoor playspace, game room…ive been at five star hotels before but none with this level of catering to kids happiness. Thanks shangri la for unforgettable memories!

The hotel is set at the most gorgeous location, views of the mountains, many restaurants nearby. The host (Siau Ming) was super hospitable - he helped us with our bags to the room, had fresh iced Osmanthus sour plum tea for us at arrival and when we were back, he even packed some crossaint/biscuits for us to go. Breakfast was either bread with passion fruit jam & butter or guilin noodles (so good), served with mango and coffee. He was very attentive to our needs. The rooms are as gorgeous as depicted in their pictures. 5 star quality with a homely Chinoiserie design. Laundry was free - we just had to put our laundry in the basket in the morning and it would be ready in the evening. Appreciated in the 38C weather. The stay at Secret Courtyard made Guilin an enjoyable and memorable experience.

Hiasan hotel agak moden, sangat baru, persekitaran yang cantik, hotel ini mudah untuk perjalanan, bilik bersih dan kemas, sarapan pagi yang kaya dengan pelbagai, kakitangan kaunter penerimaan tetamu No. 19 dan No. 5 adalah. bersemangat, bertimbang rasa, dan sangat disyorkan!

A pleasant stay overall - The staffs are friendly and helpful. You can even notice that they are very attentive to their guest. It is great that this hotel does not allow smoking inside their facility (allowed outdoors only). Their gym is embarrassing but other than that, everything else seems nice. One thing that I am very disappointed about is that the photos of the Cozy Room (King Bed) has a river view. However, we did not have that. We had a full view of the buildings and streets instead.

Amazing hotel, I guess it has been renovated recently . The room is magnetic, and the staff can speak English quite well . Swimming pool, jacuzzis (3 of them), sauna and steam room, excellent gym with table tennis 🏓 equipments makes this property and excellent place to stay. Breakfast was excellent as I am a huge fan of Chinese food, not much of western food, but there are kids station, bread, coffee (good one) , sausage and bacon, and several other options of pastries such as croissants and danish. Thanks XiaoWu小伍 for the amazing service guiding us around the rooftop, taking pictures of us, and giving assistance providing all the important information on how to enjoy the hotel facilities . the only bad thing is the costumers , a huge amount of them smoke everywhere although there are signs saying the whole property is forbidden to smoke. The hotel should remove the ashtrays in front of the elevators . Unfortunately it is a problem in China when you go to hotels and makes very unpleasant the shared ventilation bringing smoking smell into other people’s room.
