HHenry from Toronto, CanadaThis is a brand new hotel in a developing city. Everything in the hotel was modern. My room was quite large and the TV was gigantic. The free laundry facilities were the nicest I've seen during my 7 week trip in China. I tried the breakfast one morning, and it was decent.
The hotel seemed quite empty, likely because not many people and businesses have moved into the area yet. I did find a few restaurants within a short walk of the hotel. If I'm in the area again, I would stay at this hotel again.

DDr LightningEverting is good ,1st time I came into China as a Muslim business man, I found this hotel have HALAL food options in a breakfast as well, location near to all my required factories.
One thing management need to focus on:
1- smoking is everywhere almost although they have displayed the sign ,”no smoking “ but no one care even hotel staff as well especially breakfast time staff also does smoking which gives me anxiety and sickness as a non smoker . In rooms people are smoking as well. It’s very good hotel but no following the rules non smoking . Next to the hotel is halal restaurant is available as well for lunch and dinner. Important thing they have prayer room as well.

PPengguna TetamuThis is the best hotel you will find in the area. Great service, very modern, clean, and well maintained rooms. I came through this hotel as part of a hike across the country, and intentionally reworked my schedule to be able to spend more nights in this hotel as opposed to relocating further down the route. The amenities are worth it. I have spent ten years living in Beijing and Hong Kong, these are at or above the level of what you will find in the vast majority of hotels anywhere in the country. An absolute steal at this price point for what they provide.

PPengguna TetamuThis stay truly exceeded all expectations. As foreigners visiting Citadines Baoding for the first time, the overall experience couldn’t have been better — it was absolutely top-notch 👍.
From the moment we stepped into the lobby, we were greeted with a sense of warmth and genuine hospitality. The front desk staff were incredibly thoughtful and attentive.
The hotel also provides a complimentary fruit platter, which was a very nice and thoughtful touch. The room is well equipped with a capsule coffee machine, and there is even a washing machine inside the room, making the stay especially convenient for families and longer visits.
Another major highlight is the room layout. In addition to the bedroom, there is a separate small living area. This design is a big plus — my husband can watch TV or work in the living space without disturbing my rest, which greatly enhances comfort and privacy.
Overall, whether it was the attention to detail at the front desk, the comfort and quality of the accommodation, or the excellent food and beverage service, this hotel truly delivered on all fronts. It’s absolutely an ideal choice for business or families traveling with children, and we would highly recommend Citadines to anyone visiting Baoding.

Ttravelling with teensThe staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Some speak English. The room was very spacious with lots of tech gadgets and big tv screens. There were however no cupboards to put your clothes or suitcases in. The roof terrace with pool is really nice, but the restaurant in the basement is unwelcoming. Breakfast was cold and although they had a good coffee machine, they were not able to use it to make a good coffee. Instead of juice or tea they offered cola and sprite. Although we had a good stay we have to say that the prices for rooms in this hotel are quite high and the hotel in total doesn’t live up to those prices.

PPengguna TetamuThis hotel was exceptional - the room was very clean, modern, and bright. The breakfast was also very extensive in selection - I'm a vegetarian and I had no problem finding things to eat. What stood out the most, though, was the service. From the concierge and dining / room service staff, to the housekeeping team, everyone was incredibly sweet, smiled a lot and went out of their way to be helpful. It's the best service I've received in a hotel anywhere in the world. Thank you to Able and Mark, and all of the other staff whose names I didn't manage to catch!
